While the girl was away Zoella opened her locker and brought out new wrist watch from Emmaline ‘s locker. Unknown to her keaira was looking at her all this while. She kept the wrist watch in her pocket. Emmaline came back from the restroom to find her wrist watch missed inside her locker.
“Who stole my wrist watch?” She announced and the class burst out laughing. “I didn’t say anything funny. Did I?” She asked “who stole my wrist watch before I went to report to our class teacher” she threatened but the class did not stopped laughing. One of the teachers Mrs Avalon entered and the class became silent but Emmaline remain standing.
“What cause your noise, can someone explain to me? Young girl why are you standing, don’t you have a seat? ” Mrs Avalon asked.
“My wrist watch is missing?” She said in anger.
“What? Is there a thief in the class? Come young girl”. She said and Emmaline walked to her in front of the class.
” You are new here right? What is your name?” Mrs Avalon asked.
“I’m Emmaline Scott. I just came here today and they welcome me by stoling my wrist watch” . She complained.
“Who among you stole the watch”? Mrs Avalon asked.
“I know who stole it” keaira raised her hand and said.
“Who?” Both Mrs Avalon and Emmaline asked in unison.
“Zoella.” Keaira pointed to Zoe.
“What? Me? I didn’t steal anything.” Zoella objected.
“Zoella, come out.” Mrs Avalon said. ” where is the wristwatch”?
“It is not with me. I don’t know what she is talking about ma” Zoella said confusedly as she got to the front of the class.
“I will check your pockets, locker, school bag and if I don’t find it keaira will be in trouble for wrong accusation.” Mrs Avalon said strictly. She walked to Zoella and dipped her hand into her pocket and pulled out the wristwatch.
“Ahhh!” Everyone inside the class gasped in shock.
“Why did you turn yourself into a thief Zoe?” Mrs Avalon asked with her eyes widely open.
“I didn’t stole it.” Zoella defend herself.
“Then who stole it? How did it get there, inside your pocket? You know what? I have a lot of things to do, so Three of you should go to your class teacher.” Mrs Avalon said and they left the class.
Three of them arrived at Mrs Jarrett’s office. Emmaline explained everything to her and she got vexed.
“How could you Zoe? How could you stole your classmate’s wrist watch?” Mrs Jarrett asked.
“I didn’t know how it happened but I didn’t steal it.” Zoella argued.
“Zoe, you stole it. I saw you, I only pretend like I did not see anything and it was found in your pocket. Can you defend that?” Keaira shouted.
“You have nothing to say Zoella Jones, it is obvious you steal it and you know the consequence . It suppose to be suspension but you make the school proud so, you will work till closing hours. You will wash all the toilets and clean the library. Make sure it is neat and rearrange the books properly. Is that clear to you?” Mrs Jarrett asked and she nodded in tears. “You may leave ” she said and Zoella went to serve her punishment while others went to join the class that had been commencing.
