Innocent Thief – Episode 10

She cried and ran out of the class and her friends followed her.
She arrived at the garden and turned back to see her friends coming towards her.
“What do you want from me?” She yelled at them.
“We are your friends, we don’t care if you are a thief.” Emmaline said and turned to face them.
“I’m tired why is it me all the time? I’m not born to be a thief. What can I do, I don’t know how and when it is happening… I don’t want you to be my friend because I know one day you gonna leave me.” She grumbled painfully.
“I promise not to leaves you no matter what people say” . Harsha pledged while Emmaline nodded in agreement. They moved closer to her and hugged her.
Mrs Jarrett entered the class following morning with sternly look. She dropped the notepad she was holding on the desk in front of the class.
“Good morning students “. She greeted and the students also chorus good morning ma. “As you all know that tomorrow is the last day which is Friday and you know your examination is coming soon so, you need to prepare yourselves very well for this upcoming exam. You know this is your promotion examination. And… today I’m gonna change the class rep of this class today , Zoella Jones please come out.” She announced and Zoella stood up and walked to the front.
“From now on I remove the chieftaincy, class monitress from her. I collect all the authority and power you have over this class for the new class monitress. As the ex-class monitress, choose someone you will like to represent you and then we will vote.” She announced and Zoella lost in thoughts.
*I have two worthy friends they are both brilliant, they are faithful to me, they are both responsible to be in this position. What can I do?” She thought inwardly as tears welled up her eyes. She used the tip of her tie to wipe the tear that was about to fall from her eye.
“Can’t you talk?” Mrs Jarrett snapped.
“Can I select select two?” She asked and Mrs Jarrett shook her head.
