“I’ve been waiting for you since. Good morning”. He said sulkily.
“I can’t waste my saliva today”. Roxanne said without turning to look at him.
“I know you will be mad at me but I just got touched by your poem.” Leonard said bitterly. Roxanne walked slowly to sit on the root of a tree, Leonard also walked briskly to sit beside her.
“Rox , I’m ready to hear your advice. Pour your words on my head”. He said sadly.
“Smile first smile widely”. Roxanne insisted.
“Are you nuts, All what you say since I met you is smile. If you know you can’t wipe away my tears by your advice then get lost, I don’t need your help.” He yelled while Roxanne took a deep breath, Leonard saw this and felt guilty for speaking to her rudely.
“I’m so…. So….. sorry ” . He stammered.
“You eradicate everything I have to say Leo “. She mumbled.
“I said I’m very sorry “. Leonard pleaded.
“No! Don’t be sorry just work on your attitude. Leonard Titore please learn some manners “. Roxanne said and left hurriedly before he could say a word.
Leonard went to his friends suite sadly, he met them discussing the resumption of school and other uninteresting things. As they felt his presence they started to hail him as they always do.
“Why are you looking so sad? Haven’t you get over sienna?” Elia asked irritatedly.
“I’m fine”. He snapped as he sat beside Himal.
“No smoke without fire, there’s something behind your doleful look.” Whined Jason.
“Nothing, I’m fine don’t worry about me”. He replied bitterly.
“Why are you this insularity, don’t make us feel like we are your enemies that look like friends.” Said Elia.
After many questions and thousands of queries he finally blurted out.
“I met a lady that is willing to help me but my temperament won’t let me appreciate her. I talked to her in horrible manner and she got angry, she told me to work on my attitude.” Leonard explained sadly.
“Are you ready to fight another heart break battle. The way you did to her wet for her pain, don’t be sorry”. Elia shouted.
“Huh… you don’t even have what people call memory at all Elia. Anyway Leonard you need to apologize to her”. Said Himal
“Obviate with anything call female Leonard I warn”. Jason warned.
“It is not the matter of love but help. Her poems make me happy and she looks innocent “. Said Leonard .
“That’s how Sienna look when you firstly met her.” Elia said and Himal changed the topic.
“The school will resume day after tomorrow. Leonard what is your preparation “. Asked Himal while Leonard hissed in frustration.
“You hate school because of what happened “. Asked Himal.
“School resumption is non of my business so, stop bothering me “. Leonard grumbled.
“The inter house sports practice will begin immediately after school resume “. Said Jason
“Like I care “. Leonard whispered
“Won’t you also participate in classical modelling?” Asked Jason
“I don’t fucking care about anything pertains with school activities “. Leonard yelled frustratedly.
“You will explain that to the principal.” Elia said
“Why are so annoying? Can’t you just let me be, I need to be alone “. Leonard flared raising up his feet and walked out on them.
“What’s up with him “? Asked Elia
“Why can’t you ask him “?. Replied Jason.
The following day, Leonard went to the garden but unfortunately he didn’t met Roxanne till he left. Same thing the next day, he felt sad for his grumpy attitude, he went back feeling terribly bad but met her again.
He went home feeling guilty that if he had known he wouldn’t had talked to her in rough manner. He was carried away by the thought when he bumped into someone.
“I’m… I’m sorry “. He apologized but his mouth fell agape when he realized it was sienna.
“Si…ee….. Sienna ‘”. He stammered but sienna only smiled and cat walked away quickly.
He felt bitter and the heart broken wound that had been healed up re- opened immediately he saw her…
