“How did you know my hostel?” She asked sitting down beside him while Leonard smiled peacefully.
“I asked God”. He teased.
“Oh no! stop this this joke”. She pouted.
“The question is funny,why won’t I know my girlfriend’s hostel. That’s ridiculous “. He replied.
“Okay what should I offer you “? She asked.
“I’m fine, you don’t need to worry”. He muttered.
“You can’t say you are fine, I know your best choice is ice cream, I have some of it here”. She said walking to the refrigerator. She brought out two cups and went back to where Leonard sat on the couch. She gave one to him and the other to herself.
“I missed doing this with you a lot. Tell me you don’t miss me”. Asked Roxanne.
“Yes, I didn’t. I’ve many ladies over there”. He said mischievously and she became silent. Leonard noticed this and smiled cutely.
“Are you jealous?” He asked but got no answer. He tried to touch her but she snapped her hand away from him.
“Hey… I’m just joking I really miss you. You don’t even make attempt to visit your bae, that’s not fair at all.” He frowned.
“It’s not as if I don’t want to visit you but you know going to studio today, practice tomorrow I don’t have time”. She said sitting on his lap.
“I can’t wait for us to get marry so I can call you mine”. He said sweetly.
“I’m yours already and I promise you that no matter what life store for us I will always be by your side, I love you moon and back”. She said and peck his lips.
“I had said goodbye to my heart break and hello to my forever love, I promise to never let you go”. He said smiling.
“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you”. Roxanne said.
“Let’s walk”. He said and made Roxanne stood up.
Following morning, Leonard woke up beside Roxanne and went to the bathroom. After dressing up, he walked to the bed and sat beside Roxanne who was still sleeping peacefully. She opened her eye and it met with prettiest shade of blue eye. They smiled at each other.
“Hi love”. Cooed Leo stroking her hair.
“Good morning”. Roxanne replied. ” Are you leaving now”? She asked
“Yeah, just want you to wake”. He said and Roxanne sighed.
“What can I do before leaving? Should I bathe you?” He asked.
” I don’t want you to go*. She pouted.
“I also don’t wanna leave you but I’m left with no option, I have exam tomorrow morning. So, we’ll see when we both graduate “. He said and she stood heading to the bathroom.
“Let me see you off “. She said moving out with him.
They both walked to the garage where his car was parked. He bide her farewell and zoomed off.
Roxanne stood still watching the car till it vanished. She turned to went back to the house when she met her friends.
“Hello”. The two chorused.
“Hi”. She said
“I hope you slept well”? Peace asked.
“Why won’t she slept well when her cutie is around”. Glory winked at her and she sighed.
“But…by the way, your cutie pie looks una killing, I dey like licking his shoe”. Said Glory.
“Gbam…gramhmm… Glory with her problem of crushing on every guys”. Peace mocked Glory.
“Whatever”. Roxanne muttered unhappy as she walked to her room.
