The school had resumed, Leonard alighted from the car and the first person his eyes met with was Roxanne. He wondered what she was doing in his school . Roxanne saw him and felt angry with him but it was her first day in her new school she must greet him since they knew each other before.
“Good morning Leo”. She greeted him but he ignored her, she felt embarrassed as she watched him walked away.
Roxanne parent were the one who forced her to come to Leovis high school, she did not wanted to come but she had no choice. She was alone and the only one she knew gave her cold shoulder, she walked majestically to the assembly ground and the principal of the school came to announced some important and unnecessary things and they all matched straight to their various premises.
It was easy for Roxanne to know every corner in the school because the school attendant had showed her everywhere before the emergency Bell though the school was extremely large but still it was very easy to know every corner .
She walked to her class and her eye met with Leonard sitting in the middle of three handsome guy like him, she rolled her eye and sat down on her seat she brought out her notepad and started to jot down something.
On the other hand, Leonard was sitting in between his three friends staring keenly at the beauty goddess in front him. He couldn’t believe this was the lady he ignored before.
“She is beautiful, isn’t she?” Asked Himal.
“She is very winsome”. Winked Elia while jason pulled a confusing look.
“What are you guys talking about”. Asked Jason looking at the direction they were staring at and he saw Roxanne and his mouth fell agape.
“Wow! She looks stunning”. He complimented.
“Leonard, don’t you see that”. One of them asked.
“Like I’m blind”. He snapped.
“You boy with your grumpy attitude.” Elia said and they were still on this conversation when a teacher come in. A blonde hair lady around twenty – five years of age, she wasn’t married yet and she was recognized as Miss, she was there government tutorer and class teacher.
“Good morning Miss Angie”. Chorused some of the students.
“How are you? How was your day being”. She asked and some of the students muttered: good, fine and so on.
“We have a beautiful lady around us, I think she is a new student. Can you please come forward and introduce yourself to the class”.
Roxanne stood up and moved Forward. “My name is Roxanne Brown”. She said sweetly and walked back to her seat.
“What a lovely name”. Miss Angie complimented .
“Today, we are moving to a topic Neo colonialism as you bring out your notepad who can tell what neocolonialism mean”? She asked determined for an answer but no one raised his/ her hand except Roxanne and she stood up.
“Neo colonialism is define as the system of government in which a particular county or state is colonize after her independent. It also refers to the indirect way in which developed countries control less privilege county especially the economic aspect.” Roxanne concluded and the class became noisy with clap and cheers.
“That’s perfect”. Miss Angie said as she turned to the white board with ink in her hand, she wrote something up and started her lecture.
When she was done, another teacher came in. He was professor Cliff a mathematician. He walked hurriedly to the class like he was late.
“Hello students, bring out your notepad and let’s work no time to check time.” He said quickly while some of the students murmured.
“Stop murmuring and face what I wrote on the board. What must be added to the expression x²_18x to make it a perfect square? Five seconds please”. He announced and everyone started to work on their Note pads.
“Eighty one is the answer”. Roxanne shouted and all students stared at her in awe.
“She is a genius”. One of the students muttered from the back. Professor Cliff signed them to clap for her and they did.
After what seems like forever the boring class came to an end, another tutorer came in and after many works without play, the bell rang for lunch time. Every students march to the cafeteria .
