Innocent Thief – Episode 4

The school was over keaira hanged her bag over her shoulder and walked to her driver. She sat in the car lost in thoughts about everything that happened in school that day.
“How can she still alive? That woman that gave me the drug says it can kill before we blink. I thought she had died yesterday she slurped to the floor. The woman will have herself to blame today because I will tear her alive.” She gritted her teeth in anger.
“Madam we are here”. The driver said and she stared out from the window and her house came to her view.
“Who ask you to take me home? “Keaira yelled angrily.
“You normally came home when school is over” the driver replied.
“You must be crazy, are you mad or something? Now turn back and take me to where you took me last week” she shouted.
“Where”? The driver asked.
“The old house”she yelled and the driver ignite the engine.
They got to the old house where the woman live. She met a young lady sitting in front of the house.
“Hey where is the old ass woman that lives here?” Keaira asked rudely.
“There is no old woman here. I’ve been living here for the past fifteen years.”the young lady exclaimed.
“What do you mean by that? Are you saying I don’t know where I am”? Zoella asked boiling in anger.
“There is no old woman here I repeat before you get yourself into trouble. Leave I command you”. The young lady said and without any argument keaira left to her car.
When the young lady see that keaira had gone she transformed into the old woman and laughed hysterically.
“I Amelia I will change my skin like a chameleon. I will come for you when I’m done.” Amelia laughed and disappeared.
Keaira arrived home to meet her stepfather. She hissed and tried to Walk upstairs but her stepfather’s voice stopped her.
“Keaira, am I invisible?”Mr Hudson asked.
“I saw you”she replied sarcastically.
“Oh I see my long business trip has make you stupid right? Don’t worry you gonna learn your lesson tonight. ” Mr Hudson threatened.
Mr Hudson had been keaira’s lover ever since her mother got married to him and whenever she made attempt of reporting him to the cops he will beat her and threatened her that if she do it he will run away and later come back to kill her. So, she accept her fate and whenever she tried to tell her mother when she came back from work, her mother would yelled at her telling her she is busy.
Keaira always received the beating of her life time whenever she rejected him and she had been his toy ever since she was thirteen.
“Like I care ” she replied in anger and went upstairs.
THE NEXT WEEK
Their class teacher Mrs Jarrett came in with a new girl clad in uniform. Everyone became puzzle that who is this?
“Good morning class” Mrs Jarrett greeted and the student replied.
“This is your new classmate, her name is Emmaline. Emmaline can you please introduce yourself to the class?” Mrs Jarrett asked and she nodded her head.
“Hi class I’m Emmaline Scott, a girl with self determination and I believe there is nothing God can’t do. I’m a twin my brother doesn’t like this school that’s why I’m only one here. I’m a believer hope you are happy to see me, my humble self a good, reliable daughter of Scott.” She conclude her introduction with her arms parted dramatically. The class look at her like a she is movie before they burst out laughing.
“We are not happy to see you at all. You are not welcome, Marina high school doesn’t fit someone like you a Maniac”. Tavish said and other students laughed.
“Enough!” Zoella yelled and the class keep muted at once.
“Zoella, take care of her and register her name in the school platform. I hand over her to you”. Mrs Jarrett said and left. The class began to murmur again.
“You are welcome to our class” . She said warmly.
“Thank you”Emmaline replied.
After some minutes, the girl Emmaline went to Zoella to ask her where the restroom locate.
“Please Zoella, how can I locate the restroom”. She asked.
“It is in the school map”. Zoella replied.
“I’ve not got mine yet”she said
“Ok, let me send it to you. Where is your phone?”Zoella asked and she hand over her phone to her. She sent it to her and gave the phone back to her.
“Thanks” Emmaline appreciated.
While the girl was away, Zoella opened her locker and brought out a new wrist watch from Emmaline ‘s locker. Unknown to her, keaira was looking at her all this while……..
