Finally she reached the backyard, tramped fastly to the black huge gate . She carefully open the gate and sneaked out of the compound to the silent street. They lived in estate so, it will be hard for her to see a vehicle on the road. She would have to Trek for about an hour before arriving at the main street . She walked valour till she arrived at the main street, she waited for the streetcar to passed by because the sun had began to heated. It took her a long time before she could view a cab, she went to the nearest restaurant.
It’s 3: 40 pm. Leonard arrived and after many chat he took her to the party venue which was there house.
Roxanne narrated everything to Leonard, he gave her advice to learn patience that there may be coincidence in the issues. They arrived at the party which had been going on.
“Welcome Anne”. Greeted Jason
“Yeah”. She replied to everyone’s greeting. She sat beside Leonard while his friends sat adjacent to them. Mrs Titore came to call Leonard away from where he sat beside Roxanne to the backstage.
“Is that your new girlfriend?” Asked Mrs Titore.
“Mom what do you mean?” Leonard asked.
“The girl you sat with. You are sitting so close to her”. Mr Titore entered.
“She is just my friend”. He replied.
“A girl?” Asked Mrs Titore
“It’s nothing Mom, she wiped off my tears when Sienna broke my heart though I gave her cold shoulder but she never leave until she succeed. She stood by my side when I felt lonely, I need to be grateful”. He said.
“Hmmm okay, no problem just be careful.” Cautioned Mrs Titore and he mumbled okay.
He went back to where Roxanne sat with his friends.
“Hope you feel comfortable”? He asked
“Yes I do”. She answered, but I feel like going home now before it’s too late I came through the back gate remember “. She said and Leonard check his wrist watch. It’s already late.
“Okay let me drop you off”. He offered and she nodded in agreement.
Roxanne sneaked in through the back gate, she locked it properly before proceed inside. She got to the kitchen and saw two maid she ignored them and walked to the sitting room to see her both parents in discussion.
She confidently walked passed them but they stopped her
“Where in hell did you went to”? Asked Mrs Brown
“The hell you sent me to” . Roxanne replied rudely

“You have grown some wings heh?” Said Mrs Brown as she raised up her hand to slap Roxanne but Mr Brown was fast enough to stop her from doing so.
“We cause it all and we are deeply sorry”. Said Mr Brown with pleading eye.
“You will always be sorry Dad, I’m orphan and I want to know my parent’s grave”. Said Roxanne angrily
“Are you insane, we’re your parent and we are still alive”. Mrs Brown shouted.
“Seriously”? She chuckled “who are my parent I need to know. I want you to call a spade a spade not to lie”. Shouted Roxanne.
“Are you nut? You must be crazy for saying that”. Mrs Brown yelled.
“Me crazy? “She scoffed. I think you crazy and I will show you back to back, I lack parental care, parent lesson and some valuable things. This is what you said till Roxard died, now the same thing “. Gritted Roxanne tearfully.
“What else do you want, we gave you money, luxurious life, what else tell me “. Asked Mr Brown
“Not always about money, is money everything. Tell me!” Yelled Roxanne.
“We’re sorry I promise to change from bad to best “. Said Mrs Brown.
“Me too “. Said Mr Brown
“I promise to resign one of my business in order to take good care of you “. Pledged Mrs Brown.
“Thank you Mom and Dad. I’m sorry for being rude to you and I also promise to make you proud “. She cried and hugged her parents.
