Anita’s POV
Three months….
It’s been three whole months since I left Killian’s house, three months since I left that soulmate snatcher in peace… Well she should enjoy her peaceful days while she still have it.
Last time I failed in my mission this time around, I’ll make sure nothing goes wrong. It’s now or never.
“Boss, should she go straight to the school or wait until he’s coming back?” One of my men asked.
I smile at my brilliant idea.
“Go straight to the school” I answered.
“Yes, boss”
I dismiss them with a wave of my hand. Claire, Claire… You won’t know what hit you.
All I have to do now is sit back and patiently wait for the results.
Killian’s POV
I’m so damn happy, for the past three months my family have been living in peace.
And we also received a very happy news to complete our happiness, Claire is pregnant with our second child.
Ryan’s so happy that he’s gonna have a baby bro or sis. We haven’t find out the baby’s gender yet, cause Claire wants it to be a surprise.
My mom and Claire’s Mom were so happy when they heard the news of Claire’s pregnancy, as if it’s their first grandchild.
I can say everything is back to normal.
Currently, I’m in the kitchen preparing breakfast for my wife and son. I love cooking for my family, it makes me feel useful to them.
“Daddy?” Ryan calls to get my attention. I turn to him, he’s looking at me with curiosity filled eyes. “When is momma gonna bring the baby home?”
I laughed at his dumb question.
“Ryan, your momma isn’t gonna bring the baby home yet” I answered.
“Why?”
” Cause, your momma is just two months pregnant. Your momma still have a long way to go”.
Just then, Claire walks in. She makes herself comfortable on a chair next to Ryan.
“What are you guys talking about?” She asks.
” The baby” Ryan answers.
” Oh, really? Ryan do you want a baby brother or a baby sister?” She asks him.
Ryan did a little thinking, then a smile appears on his face.
“I want a baby brother!” He said.
“Why?” Claire asked him again.
“Cause daddy said girls are too much work” he replied casually.
Claire gasp loudly and look at me accusingly, gritting her teeth.
“Your dad said what?”
I drop the spatula I was holding and quickly rush to her side, I went to her back and begin to massage her shoulder gently and softly.
“Darling, you know I love you right?. So don’t get angry it’s not good for the baby, it’ll make our baby ugly” I said.
She takes in deep breaths to calm herself down, I swear her mood swings are these days is really something. Every little thing, angers her easily, makes her cry or even laugh excessively.
“So, I have a doctor’s appointment this morning, you’ll be the one taking Ryan to school today” she said her voice holds authority.
” Yes, ma’am. Anything else?”
” Me and the girls are going baby shopping after my appointment, so you’ll also have to pick Ryan up after school hours” she said again.
“No problem. I probably should get ready now, please baby, dish the food for Ryan, I’m gonna go take a shower” I said and head upstairs to our room.

I drop Ryan off at his school and head straight to Knight Gaming.

Anita’s POV
It’s already 1:15pm and I still haven’t heard from my men. Suddenly, My phone ringing blared in the air, I check the caller, it’s one of my men.
“Boss, we have the package with us already” he said.
I laugh inwardly.
” Good job, boys. Take him to the warehouse, I’ll be there in five” I instructs them.
I hang up and fall by on my couch, laughing satisfactory.
“Now, let’s see if you won’t leave your so called palace” I said.
You can’t escape from me this time, I must get what I want.
Killian’s POV
I have been working non-stop since morning, I have tons of paper work to do. I take a glance at the wall clock, it’s 1:25pm, it’s way past Ryan school hours. I look around, files heap all around the table, I can’t just leave them.
So I sent Lucas to go pick him up from school, they should be here any minute.
Right on cue, my office door open and Lucas walks in. I look behind him, but Ryan isn’t with him. I look at him questioningly.
“Where’s Ryan?” I asked.
“His teacher said a driver already picked him up” he answered.
I drop my pen and stand up.
” Driver?” We don’t have any drivers. Claire and I, we drive ourselves everywhere.
“Maybe Claire sent someone to pick him up” Lucas said.
I nod and reach for my phone and dialed Claire’s number, she picked at the first ring.
“Hey, Killian”
“Hmm, baby is Ryan with you?” I asked.
“No, I told you to pick him up, remember”
My eyes grows wide in fear, it can’t be what I’m thinking. No, no, no. Not again.
“Killian, is everything ok?” She asks.
“Yeah… I just remembered I ask Lucas to take him over to Mom’s” I lied.
“Oh, ok. Gotta go, bye, love you”
“Love You too” I hang up.
I begin to breath rapidly, this can’t be happening now. Who the hell pick him up? Why am I too late again? I start to pace to and fro in my office.
“What happened, Killian?” Lucas asked.
“I think Ryan is missing”
“Missing? How?” He asks again.
” I think someone kidnap Ryan”
Lucas cursed.
“Then why did you lie to Claire just now?”
I run my fingers through my hair.
“I can’t let her know about it just yet, you know her condition. Worrying won’t be good for the baby” I punch the wall in front of me.
” Then what are you going to do?”
” I’ll find him and bring him back before Claire suspect anything. But first I need to talk to my parents, we all need to hide the truth from Claire for now” I said.
I pick up my jacket and car keys.
” Call Keira and tell her to come to my parents house, tell her to find an excuse to leave Claire at the mall” I said to Lucas.
He nods and starts to type on his phone. While I head out.
