Richard drove to his parents’ house and walked inside.
“Am sorry I am late”. he apologized immediately after he stepped into the room and everyone turned in his direction.
” Yeah right,”. Angel said as he walked up to them.
“Am I forgiven?”. he asked smiling.
” Only if Elizabeth says so”.Mrs. Judith said with a smile.
“Elizabeth?”. He called surprisedly as both of them stared at each other.
” Are you going to keep staring at me without a hug?”. Elizabeth questioned as she stood up.
“Am sorry”. They hug each other for a while and then pull away from each other.” You have grown so big and I couldn’t recognize you”. he said smiling.
“You too”.
” Sorry to interrupt the moment, but I am starving, can we get down to business, you can continue your chat later”. Ella said.
“Sure”. he said and they sat down, after a while they started eating.
” So, how have you been?”.Elizabeth asked
“Have been doing great, what about you, what brought you here?”.
” Well, I came here for my IT”.
“Oh yes, and she needs a good hospital for her IT”. Mrs.Judith said.
” Oh, that’s nice, I will help you with the hospital”. Richard said.
“Oh, thanks”. She smiled.
” I told you he would help”. Mr. Wilson said.
“Am so happy right now”.
” Son, you can take her to the hospital tomorrow”.Mrs.Judith said.
“Of course not, Mom, she just came back at least she should rest for a while”. Juliana said.
” I don’t think Elizabeth minds”.She said.
“Actually, I don’t mind, I would love to see the hospital tomorrow, to use that opportunity to see the whole city”. Elizabeth said.
” Are you sure about that?”.Richard asked.
“Yes, I have missed this place so much”.
” I think you need to rest dear, Richard can take you to the hospital this weekend and even show you around the city”. Mr.Wilson said.
“I think that will be better”. Richard said.
” Ok, if you say so”. she said smiling and they continued eating.

During the weekend, Aurora was at the bus station waiting for Nina.
“Aurora”. Nina called out her name from afar and she turned to her direction to see her waving at her.
” Nina”.She rushed to her and they hugged each other tightly after a while they pulled away from each other as people stared at them.”Oh gosh, I miss you so much, the office was boring without you”.
“Really? Why am I not so surprised”. She said smiling unknowingly at her.
” What are you insinuating?”.
“My point exactly! This office can’t be boring when you have Alex around, so tell me, did you guys also s!x in the office?”.
She smirked and Aurora scoffed.
” Yeah, right, let’s go shall we”.

Richard and Elizabeth came to the hospital and they were in Doctor’s Luke office and he was addressing them.
“Alright Elizabeth, I have seen your work and I am glad to say to you, that you can work here”. he said.
” Thank you so much doctor, is a pleasure”. She said excitedly.
“Thank you, Doctor Luke”. Richard said.
” You are welcome, she can resume with us on Monday”.
“Yes!”. She said excitedly as they stood up.” Thank you so much, I promise to do my best and I love this place so much”.
“Is a pleasure”. Doctor Luke said as they shook hands and walked away.
” We should celebrate this”.Elizabeth said, but not to worry, bills on me “.
” Hmm, I can see you are so much excited”.
“Yes, I am, you don’t know what this means to me”.
” Okay, if you say so, where should we go?”. Richard asked.
“Anywhere, I want to have the best time of my life today”. She yelled in excitement and Richard smiled after her as they entered the car and drove off.
••Nina’s apartment••
Aurora was helping her with her belongings.
” So, have you told your boyfriend that you will be coming today?”.Aurora asked.
“Boyfriend? What boyfriend are you talking about?”.
” Don’t play pretense with me, am talking about Richard”.
“Richard is not my boyfriend”. She said bashfully and Aurora stared surprisedly at her.
” Really? But you two kissed”.
“It was a normal kiss”. She said and started daydreaming and Aurora hit her shoulder.”Ouch! Why did you hit me?”.
” You said it was just a normal kiss, but you daydreaming about it and I know means more than a friendship kiss”.
“I really don’t know”. She sighed confusedly.
” I know Richard likes you, you should call him to tell him you are back”.
“I told him before that I would be back this weekend”.
” What was his reply?”.
“He offered to pick me up, but I refused”.
” why?”.
“I don’t know, maybe I am shy”. she smiled and Aurora sighed tiredly at her.

Later in the day, Elizabeth and Richard were at the bar drinking and chatting.
” So, do you have a girlfriend?”.Elizabeth asked and Richard smiled.
“Um, yeah, I do”.
” Really? Who is she?”.
“Her name is Nina”.
” Wow, with that beautiful name, and I know she is pretty”.
“Yeah, but don’t say anything to my family, they don’t know yet”.
” Okay, your secrets are safe with me”.
“What about you?”.
” Nah, I got no one”.
“Why? You are pretty and intelligent “.
” Um, am still waiting for the right one”. She said.
“Are you serious”. He said and then caught sight of Alex as he walked, he called out his name and waved at him. Alex turned to him and walked in his direction.
Elizabeth froze at the sight of Alex, she couldn’t believe he had grown to be this handsome and muscular, and she became intoxicated by his Aura.
” Did I keep you guys waiting?”He asked as he sat down.
“Not really, do you remember Elizabeth?”. He asked and Alex turned to her and she blushed.
” Am trying to”. He said as he continued to stare at her.
“She is Elizabeth, my childhood friend, the one you once Rescued from bullies way back from school”. He said.
” Oh my, I didn’t know, am sorry”. he stood up and they hugged each other.” Is so good to see you again”.
“Me too”. they pulled away from each other and sat down.”I barely recognized you”.
” Yeah, you have grown into a beautiful lady”.
“Thank you”. she smiles at him.
” Is so good to see you, so, what’s up with you?”.
“Well, I will be doing my IT in–“. she got interrupted.
” Luke’s hospital”. Richard said.
“Wow, that’s nice, am so happy for you”.
” Thank you, Let cheers to life”. They hit their glasses together and continue chatting and laughing.

Elizabeth was in her room daydreaming about Alex.

Alex was on the phone with his mother.

” This masquerade ball party is in two weeks?”.Nora asked as she came over.
“Yeah, my mom just called to let me know about it”.
” Wow, that’s nice “. She said happily and there was a quiet moment.” Alex”.

“I need some money for my Antenatal tomorrow”.
” Ok, I will send you the money to your account”.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth met with Spike. Spike has been her father’s right-hand man for long.

” Not too long, I need you to investigate someone for me “. She brought Alex’s photo and gave it to him.” Investigate this guy for me, I want to know everything about him, whether he is married or not”.
