 ARJUN 

She walked out of the room after I gave her another kiss. As soon as she was out, I breathed out heavily holding my chest with my hand.

“Pheww.” I breathed out in relieve.

I walked to the bathroom room quickly and reached for my toothbrush and toothpaste and I began to wash my mouth.

I was so irritated Kissing her. Like why on Earth would I want someone like her? Gosh! 

I spat out the foam in my mouth, and then rinsed my mouth feeling much better. I walked out of the bathroom and then I saw Hana in the room, she looked worried.

“Hana don’t tell me you are still worried about what I told you.” I said and she sat on the bed.

“I can’t lose you Arjun. You saw it clearly that you were shot. We need to tell this to mother, so she can tell father. Stopping or preparing for the war will prevent you from been shot.”

“And then prevent me from kissing Akira.” I said in a low tone.

“Arjun you can kiss her anywhere. After the war you can go to the market, go to the same old house where no one would see you.” She stated and I nodded.

“So you really want it to happen because you kissed Akira? And do you think Akira would want you to die?” She asked and I sighed.

“I don’t want to die, and no one is dying.” I said and she nodded.

“Good. That’s the main reason why you should tell this to mother as soon as possible. She knows how to talk to father well.” She muttered and I smiled.

“We should go together.” I said and she stood up almost immediately. We both walked out of the room and then I saw Aaron approach us.

“Prince Arjun, can I please talk to you?” He asked looking nervous and I furrowed my brows wondering why he was acting that way.

“Okay? What Is it?” I asked and then he looked at Hana.

“Can we talk In private.” He asked and I looked at Hana who kept staring at him.

“Okay?” I asked stepping aside after giving Hana an eye signal.

“What is this about?” I asked as soon as we were metres away from Hana.

“Sorry to say this to you this way, but when you and Akira walked into the room, Princess Maya saw you and I know that’s not good at all.” He said and I smiled.

“Yes I know. She came to me already. I took care of it, Akira Is safe. You can tell her that.” I said and he swallowed hard.

“Thank you. But I thought of something, to be on the saver side, isn’t it better you stay away from her? I mean, if this went down silently, what if the second time she isn’t this lucky.” He said with his head bowed and I arced my brows.

“Aaron we want the same thing. I don’t want anything to happen to her because of me. And I know exactly how to make sure she is safe. I really appreciate you are watching out for your friend. You just need to know you are no place to tell me who I am close to or not.” I muttered coldly and he nodded bowing his head.

“I am sorry my Prince.” He said within gritted teeth.

“Good. You can go.” I said and he turned to take his leave.

I sighed and walked back to where Hana was standing. She looked at me expecting me to tell her what he came to say.

“He said I should stay away from Akira. He is just looking out for her. And I think he is right.” I said and she looked at him as he walked away.

She later faced front and began to walk without saying a word.

“Hana he is just looking out for his friend.” I said and she smriked. 

“I know. And I am not allowed to make friends with him anymore because of the stupid rules.” She said sadly.

“Let’s be honest with each other. Do you see him as just a friend? Or more?” I asked in a whisper and she played with her fingers telling me she was nervous.

“C’mon, we shouldn’t keep anything from each other.” I said and she nodded.

“I have always loved Aaron since we were children. I was so hurt when father stopped us from seeing each other. And I talked to him some days ago, and I saw and noticed he doesn’t want to be friends with me Because he loves his life.” She said in a shaky Voice.

“I am sorry Hana. But you know you can’t blame him right?” I asked and she nodded.

“I don’t blame him. I don’t want him to die either, but it’s painful.” She said and I held her hand as we walked.

We got to mother’s chamber and I knocked on the door. She opened up after some seconds and as soon as she saw both of us.

“What’s going on?” She asked narrowing her gaze and opening the door.

“You should go on Arjun. I need to get back to something.” Hana mumbled and I looked at her.

“Sure. Don’t stay long, we wanted to talk her together remember?” I asked and she nodded smiling.  

She walked away and then I looked at mother who was looking very curious.

       PRINCESS HANA 

I walked down the hallway playing with my fingers nervously. I knew I shouldn’t be doing this but I want to.

“Get me Aaron.” I said walking into my chamber.

I began to pace around the room. To be honest, I don’t know what to say to him when he appears.

But I just need him to understand, I love him and want him. I sucked on my lower lips for some seconds.

Still pacing around, the door opened and Aaron walked in with his head bowed.

“You asked…” He said and I rushed to him planting a deep kiss on his lips.

I kissed him with all the passion I could offer, I held his chin up and he kissed me back. 

I knew he was scared to touch me, I knew it without him telling me. I reached for his hand as we kissed and I wrapped it around my waist.

He made me lean forward and took over with his mouth, letting me follow his own lead.

After some minutes of satisfaction, we broke the kiss breathing hard. I rested my head on his making our foreheads touch.

His breath, I could feel it on my nose, and that sent cold shivers down my spine. I shut my eyes before I could say anything.

“Aaron.” I called and to my uttermost surprise, he took my lips In his again and I wrapped my hands around his neck.

We broke the kiss again and he looked right into my eyes.

“I am sorry for doing that the second time, it was just so amazing.” He said and I smiled.

“I knew it would happen at a moment. We were still very young we once kissed. That’s one thing I can never forget. Our first kiss, though it was childish. I never forgot it Aaron.” I said staring right back into his eyes.

“I felt like I was in another place entirely. But those are just fairy tales, and you know that. We can’t be seen together,if we are, I die.” He said getting my hand off him slowly and moving back.

“Aaron, we can do something about this. I need you.” I said as my eyes heated up immediately.

“I am sorry Princess Hana, it’s just that there is nothing we can do about this when we are still in this Palace. I am the only one my mother has, she can’t lose me now. Believe me, I loved the kiss but this can’t happen again. I am sorry.” He said and turned to leave.

I wanted to stop him but I knew he was right. I didn’t stop him,I let him leave. 

I fell on the bed and I began to weep. I want him and now I can’t get him.

The door opened again and before I could look up, I called his name.

“Aaron?” I called and when I looked up I saw Arjun.

“Aaron was here?” He asked and when he saw tears on my face, he ran to me and squatted in front of me.

“What happened Hana?” He asked cleaning off my tears.

“I will tell you, right after you tell me what mother said.” I said and he bowed his head.

“She has gone to talk to father.” He said and I nodded.

“That’s good. Why do you look sad?” I asked him.

“Because Mother said father would ask the Priest to go right into my mind while i am thinking about the dream, so he could see things himself.” He said and my eyes widened in fear.

“If he sees the whole dream, then he would see you and Akira Kissing.” I said fearfully and he nodded holding his head in his hand.
