The K1ller’s Knife – Episode 4
Father had lifted a low stool and without a rethink, he wanted to hit mother with it. He lifted it up with his left hand and as his was about to stroke mother with it..
Erica in an attempt to defend mother deliberately got in the way, she threw herself in-between mother and father
I guess her young mind thought that father could change his mind upon seeing her but it was too late to stop the stool, she got hฮผrt instead of mother.
It happened so fast that I was left motionlessly rooted to a spot
I couldn’t move for a couple of seconds with my mouth wide open but no words could find its way out because of shock
I was brought out of my state of shock when Erica lost consciousness and slumped to the floor,
with bl00d gushing out from the side of her head where the stool hit her
Fearfully, I ran to her side after she slumped to the floor and then mother’s loud shrill followed afterwards
” No!!!!!!! Erica… Oh God! What have you done to my daughter Jamie! Erica!!!!!” Mother kept shouting and wailing as she placed her two hands on her head whilst crying helplessly
I didn’t even know what to do or feel as I hovered over Erica, I was simply numb
Father obviously wasn’t feeling any guilt or remorse, else he would have offered or better still given me anhelping hand so we could rush Erica to the hospital before she loses more bl00d
” That serves you right woman! At least next time you will dare not go against my orders!” Father said nonchalantly and hissed aloud as he wore his slippers preparing to walk out. He didn’t even care if Erica survived the hit or not.
” Coward! That’s what you’ve always been anyways!” I cussed inaudibly not knowing that father actually heard me
” Did I hear you say something..? Jacob who were you referring to as a coward?” Father asked walking menacingly towards me
From the angry look on his face, I could tell that he is very furious with me for the statement I had previously made
I’m actually not surprised, because sometimes I do wonder what breed my bยฃast of a father is
For goodness sake! My sister, his very own daughter is laying numbed on the floor and nobody knows if she is dยฃad or still alive
What is he planning to do to me? is he planning to commit an hom1cide?
A heavy blow landed on my stomach and I fell on my butt wriggling in pains. I held onto my abdomen as my ribs felt like it was tearing apart bit by bit
” Please Jamie leave my son alone. He has done nothing wrong to you!” Mother lamented as she got up and tried to pull father away from beating me more.
Unfortunately it only fueled Father’s anger as he left me and turned his focus on mother who was shivering in fear
” So you are now challenging me in my own house..? You are trying to teach me how to discipline my own son right…? You are trying to prove to me that you are the responsible mother…is that it?”
” No… that’s not..” Mother stammered and was trying to further explain herself when father’s resounding slรขp sent her crashing on the sofa next to her
I know it was only a matter of time before father would pounce on her and beat the living daylight out of mother
And just as I thought, father swiftly moved to where mother laid on the sofa and hovering over her, he gave her a second resounding sl@p as she kept crying in pains for him to let her be
” I’ll teach you a lesson today. This woman you wanted to show me you have power right? No problem… I will deal with you today!” Father said as he hastily took his hands to his belt and was trying to loosen it from his trouser
I thought he wanted to use the belt to beat mother as he usually does
It would have even been better if he did that than the unspeakable he later did
I was already weak to do anything. The only thing on my mind was on how I could safely get my sister out of here to the hospital. I pray she is still alive, at least for my sake and that of mother
Father’s belt flung to the floor brought me back to the reality of the moment. I couldn’t even understand what was happening anymore
I thought father wanted to beat mother with the belt so why is he now throwing it on the floor? Did he change his mind?
My eyes were still fixed on him as he hovered over mother on the sofa,
by now he was already pulling his shirt and then his trouser followed shortly
What’s happening…?
I thought in my mind as I tried to comprehend the whole thing
Then I heard mother pleadingly say to father in a desperate and sad tone
” Please Jamie don’t do this here please. Look at Jacob…he is still a child and it isn’t right for him to see this immorality”
Father remained adamant as he drew mother closer to him on the sofa
” …don’t hurt me this way please…at least let us go to the bedroom…preserve my dignity in front of my child. I’m begging you Jamie” Mother continued pleading with father and I held my fist
Father smirked and chuckled as he told mother loud enough for me to hear him
” I thought you had sense woman..? Of course hurting you and bruising that cheap dignity of yours is the main essence of doing this in front of your dear son…” Father said whilst attempting to take mother’s clothes off
I quietly watched as mother kept trying to wrestle free from father’s grip but obviously father was stronger than her
When mother held onto her skirt which made it difficult for father to pull off her clothes like he wanted, he sl@pped her again and she screamed loudly
As mother’s firm grip on her skirt loosened, he ceased the opportunity and tore her skirt into two. Then he proceeded to tear her undies off
Now mother was naked except for her blouse cloth which covered her brรซรฅst. My young mind couldn’t fully process what was about unfolding before my eyes.
” Foolish woman! You think you are wise right? Wait until I am done with you!”
” Please Jamie…think of Jacob. He is your son too… please think of what this illicit scene will do to him psychologically. I’m begging you in God’s name..he is a child and shouldn’t be exposed to things like this… Jamie please” Mother kept crying and begging father but to no avail.
What is father up to this time? And with the way mother is constantly pleading with him, I know for a fact that it isn’t going to be something pleasant
I could see from the look on her face that she is already exhausted from the persistent wrestling with father to stop what he is about doing in front of me
But father would not listen. He is bent on pushing through with whatever dฮผbi0us plot he has on his mind
” Stop deceiving yourself woman! Jacob is a man now and very soon he will also be doing this to a woman…. that’s if he is not already doing it behind our backs!”
Before I could say or do anything father r@ped mother right in front of me
it was brutal and scary
Oh God! I could barely believe my eyes. I have heard of what happens between an adult man and a woman to produce children like me, Erica, and Angie
Now seeing it happening live thanks to father, makes me see reasons on why mother tried to stop him from doing this.
It was hard to process the horror
As mother was crying profusely, he seems to be enjoying himself from the funny sounds he was making.
I found it very disgusting seeing father on top of mother, He was seriously hฮผrting mother which makes my h@tred for him grow even the more.
Father is such a bยฃast in human form!
I got tired of watching them and looked down with my head bent low. My eyes were fixed on the floor as I shed tears with the pain in my stomach increasing
” Oh common Jacob! Be a man and look at what your mother and I did to bring you to this world…look at us Jacob. I hope you are loving what you see because you are going to be doing this sooner than you think. Look son!!!!!!!” Father said sarcastically and chuckled when I still kept my face downward
” …such a weakling just like his mother. Like mother like son! Coconut head!” Father cussed at me as he kept hurting mother who was whimpering by now
Mother was right, I’m too young to be seeing something as terrifying as this.
I just wish someone could get all of us out of here, I’m already tired of seeing my father hฮผrting mother this way
I don’t even know where Angie is
I don’t even know if Erica is still alive or if she’s already dยฃad with all the time we’ve wasted
I’m just tired and sick of living in this misery called home! I h@te my father!
Is my life ever going to get any better or it will only get worse and worse daily?
I wiped my tears and decided to gather the courage to at least get Erica to the hospital before she d1es here, that’s if she is not already dยฃad
I slowly lifted my eyes up to plan on how I will get out of here without alerting father.
Thank goodness, father was now fully indulged in whatever he was doing to mother. His attention wasn’t focused on me anymore so I harnessed the moment
I stood up quietly and tiptoed to where Erica laid motionless on the floor. After much struggle, I got her on my back and slowly left the house
In my rush I totally forgot that there’s a path that is very slippery and needs extra care when walking over there.
I slipped with Erica on my back. And I lost my balance and the next thing that happened is what I did not envisage.
