He’s so hot
Natasha’s Pov:
I watched Jayden sleeping peacefully.
I just hope he gets better when he wakes up.
But wait….
Are you surprised why his temperature isn’t so high again?
Well at first when I found out his body was hot, I was confused.
I didn’t know what to do.
That was when I remembered what Kayla usually tells me to do whenever I refuse to take drugs.
I brought out a bowl and filled it with water.
With a towel I cleaned his muscular body.
He was so huge and spotless.
I smiled broadly as I stood up from the huge stone.
I have to prepare soup for him.
So that he can get better before tomorrow.
It feels so lonely without him talking with me.
I heaved a sigh as I walked out of the room.

The door throw open and I quickly turned around.
Actually I was preparing the soup when I heard the door sound.
It was Jay.
He’s awake already and he looks much better.
“How are you feeling now?” I asked as I continued stirring the soup.
“Much better… Thank you so much Tasha” He smiled.
“That’s OK! I know you would do more for me if I were to be in your shoes” I said
He laughed.
“What are you preparing?” He furrowed his eyebrows.
“Hot soup” I replied simply.
“Soup? What for?” He asked eagerly
“For you… You know hot soup makes you feel warm and better” I said
“Wow! I didn’t know you were this caring” He teased
“You’re silly!” I laughed as I playfully smacked him.
Oh Jayden…. You’re really crazy
He’s fun to be with though.
Jayden’s Pov:
We were done eating and I was feeling a lot better now.
And we were just lying on the beach sand.
It was already very dark so we admired the beautiful round moon and stars
This is the best bonding in the whole wide world.
I have had an amazing time with her.
She’s quite a very kind person but at first she was a meanie.
“Just take a look at the sky… The moon is so beautiful” I said as she smiled.
“Yeah! It’s really cute including the stars…. The gentle fresh breeze” She said calmly.
“We’re leaving tomorrow” I chipped in
“Leaving where?” She asked still focused on the sky.
“We’re going back home cos the boat will be coming back tomorrow” I said as we stared at the moon for a long time in silence.
“I’ll miss this place” She broke the silence.
“Me too but I’ll miss someone more” I said as she laughed
“Oh really?” She joked
“Yes… Seriously!” I said
“But we’re neighbors right?” She said
“I know but here we are roommates” I said as she chuckled.
“You know when I was younger, I had a nanny, she once told me that I can make a wish to the moon and it will come to pass” I said as we roared in laughter.
“But is that true?” She asked anxiously
“Well I think it is because back then, I lost my football so I wished to the moon to find it then the next morning I found it…so I believed it worked” I said.
“Wow! Impressive… Let’s make a wish” She giggled and I nodded.
We looked directly at the moon… Muttered some inaudibly words with our eyes closed.
“What did you wish for?” I asked her as she opened her eyes
She chuckled softly.
“Tell me yours first” She insisted
“OK… I wish you and I will be here forever! I wish we will never leave this place” I said as she smiled broadly.
“Uhmm… I wished same too” She said as we stared into each others eyes for a long time.
Our lips drew closer.
We were about to kiss when suddenly she pushed me away.
She sprang up and rushed into the log cabin.
I only smiled as I followed her.
After the incidence, we never talked to each other.
We backed each other without a single conversation until we drifted to sleep.

MORNING
We woke up very early and got prepared.
But we haven’t had a single conversation.
We continued avoiding eye contact and avoiding each other. This story is written by Pinky Preshy Chioma.
Soon enough, the boat came.
I miss Natasha so badly.
But I have to let her go now.
Though we are neighbors.
“You guys ready? Get into the boat” The man asked
“Yes…” We said in unison as we bowed our heads.
“Wow… You guys look so good together and I know you’re a couple” He smiled.
“Yes…. No!” We said together again and the man laughed.
We were about to enter the boat when Natasha turned around.
She looked at the log cabin in sadness.
She quickly burst into tears as she hugged me tightly……
