Natasha’s Pov:
The alarm rang aloud and I jerked up from the bed.
“Hmmmhhh….” I yawned tiredly as I headed to the bathroom with my eyes still closed.
Wanna know the time?
Even with my eyes still shut I know it’s 6:30am cos that’s when I set my alarm clock.
I walked to the sink….
My eyes were still shut!
I turned on the sink and washed my face thoroughly before opening my eyes.
I made for my toothbrush and paste
I brushed my teeth…
Then I showered
I walked out of the bathroom with my dressing robe.
My clothes and shoes were already properly hanged on the wall.
I do that everyday… I mean making sure that my clothes for the next day is arranged the day before.
I combed my curly hair and packed it up in a pony tail.
I wore my clothes and shoes.
I applied very little light makeup…
That’s me! I know am beautiful even though men don’t see it so I need little makeup.
“Natasha! Natasha!! Breakfast is ready” Kayla screamed from downstairs.
I chuckled as I applied some perfume on my clothes.
“Am coming girl…. I just hope you are done preparing for work before talking about food” I mocked
“Yeah… Yeah… Whatever!!” She sighed and I giggled.
I went through my files to make sure they were complete and in order before putting them into my handbag.
I carried my handbag and walked downstairs gently.

Am 25 years old and am a working class lady.
Working in one of the most popular and best company all over the country.
And yes! Am single….
I’ve decided to put my life back on track.
After what my last boyfriend Martin did to me.
Though I’ve had three guys before him and they did the same to me.
But Martin’s was more disappointing cos we dated for four years or there about.
I hate men so much!
And I can never have anything to do with them ever again.
I just want to live my life the best way I can.
And about Kayla…..
She’s my best friend and my naughty housemate.
We share the house together and we work in the same company..
We were like twins since we go everywhere together.
Aish! Enough of the intro already I have to eat.
“Good morning Tasha!” Kayla said with her mouth filled.
“Good morning Kayla! Jeez girl… I thought you were watching your weight?” I laughed as I sat down.
“Indeed? I really can’t Tasha… I’ll die if I do” She said
“Yeah right!” I mocked
“Just let me be Natasha!” She sneered.
She have always been a big eater
I rolled my eyes.
We ate in silence.
After breakfast, we stepped out of the house together.
Straight to the garage.
Well I was the one who has a car and Kayla doesn’t so I drive her to work.
We drove off the compound.
“Uhmm… Natasha did you hear that the other apartment has been taken?” Kayla asked
“Taken? By who?” I asked anxiously
“I dunno! I heard the neighbor will be moving in very soon” Kayla said.
“Whatever!” I said not knowing exactly what to say.

The atmosphere was so dark…
I was super exhausted from work.
I parked my car as usual and Kayla and I walked out of the car.
Our lives were so boring right?
I mean it’s always from work to the house.
Let me not use “Our” because Kayla has a boyfriend.
A faithful one at that!
He’s a colleague at work and I usually envy them at work whenever they start their lovey dovey
I just have to move on and put my life together.
Because I believe all men are animals…
They have all played with my heart and my emotions.
Like it was not enough, they just dump me like trash.
And I know am the one at fault here…
And my only fault is loving too much.
Whenever I fall in love, I love completely.
And that made me played with… I guess.
I turned off the car ignition and took my keys.
I yawned hungrily.
Kayla walked more faster.
I know she’s fvcking hungry as hell
I was about to walk in when I collided with someone and I fell on my buttocks.
“Awwch!” I cried as I managed to drag myself up with the help of the person.
“Am really sorry miss” The manly voice said.
So it was a man?
Like they haven’t gotten enough from breaking my heart, now it’s my buttocks.
I burned up in annoyance.
I quickly landed a dirty slap on his cheek.
“Are you blind or something?” I screamed at him and Kayla quickly turned around…..
