Change of Plans

Vincenzo’s girlfriend had come to pay him a visit. He was grateful to see her. Her presence spoke so much for him, he would be able to get a clear mind for a couple of hours before his father shows up.

He was thinking over Olsen, questioning himself why he was holding back at acting. For so many reasons he wished he knew, he had made threatening words yet didn’t keep to any of it.

And for so many reasons he wished he knew, he had given Olsen enough chances to live. What if Freya was right, what if Olsen never shows up? Would he live to let another man kill his sister?

Though Vincenzo wasn’t a man with good hearts, he felt it was wrong. And that calls for another suspicious question. Why all of a sudden would he feel it was wrong?

But now his girlfriend, Kelly is here, every thing seemed to have gone. Her smooth touches were like miracles to his heart, melting the mountains of anger and hatred. He felt like he needed to be himself for a moment, to feel that part of him that obviously spoke of what and who he is.

A fuckanarty.

It’s as if she always reads his mind, showing up at a critical time, and blessing his day with her gorgeous body. She takes him up to his room. There she takes off her clothes, standing stacked naked before him. The sight of her n+ked body turned him on, he couldn’t think of any thing outside her body.

He was salivating to have her, to kiss every part of her like never before. Some times he blesses the heavens for giving him such a sweetheart like Kelly. They had continued with their businesses, and for hours Kelly kept screaming m+ans of pleasure.

It was another night of fear. Freya sat on her bed, facing the thin window. She was thinking of her past life and how things have been going perfectly fine for her until the night Dento died. How is she to know that there was a lot ahead for her to face?

She had received bruises in the process. Her back had scars on them, wounds that needed to be treated but yet weren’t. She has endured the pains and still enduring them.

The door opened and the same group of men who always dragged her out came to take her. She refused to struggle or scream, she felt she was tired of screaming for help which was never rendered. She lets them take her to the sitting room.

Vincenzo, always appearing in the most seductive way, sat on the two seater couch with his girlfriend who was leaning her head on his shoulder, a hand resting on his chest.

Freya stood terrified, her legs invisibly trembling as she made eye contact with Vincenzo’s father, Mr Polio Ferdinando. “Is this the Bred you talked about?” He asked Vincenzo who swiftly nodded his head at him. “She doesn’t look bad though. No wonder why Dento couldn’t take his eyes off her,” he stands up, walking close to her.

Freya took a step backwards. She doesn’t like it when they make her beauty the first topic, things don’t go so well after the compliment.

“I’m pretty sure my son has made some introduction beforehand, concerning what your brother did to my nephew.” He said. Freya remained silent. “I wanna let you know that your brother’s life is only for a little while. He doesn’t have to run so far, because no matter where he goes, I will find him.”

She chuckled. “No one is finding him.”

“He made you believe that?” He laughed. “Maybe, you just haven’t heard so much about the Ferdinandos. We aren’t the petty gangsters, we fight and we sacrifice for our loved ones. That’s the rule.”

“So, why are you telling me this?”

“Because I want you to know that tonight is the last you’ll ever get the chance to live in this mansion. I’m taking you with me back to Florida. You’ll serve as my maid, and we’ll probably get married if time permits.”

“You’d rather kill me than marry me. I don’t care whatever you do to me, I just want you all to know that sooner than later, I’m getting the fuck out of here.”

Mr Polio looked at Vincenzo with a broad smile. “You never told me she is this funny to be with. I’m beginning to like her.”

Freya believed trying to act tough was going to get him to understand that she wasn’t scared of his threats even though she was. But what she got after surprised her. She felt a bit relaxed with him, at least he wasn’t as heartless as Vincenzo. She thought.

Vincenzo remained silent while his father did the talking. Every thing about Freya seems to entice him, and he was mean and serious when he said he was going to take Freya home with him.

“We’re getting married.” He stated.

Freya looked at Vincenzo who had the same emotionless expression on his face. She realizes things weren’t going exactly as they ought to be. No one talked about her leaving the state.

“I’m not going any where.” She refused.

“You don’t have to worry, hun, you’ll be in a safe hands.” Mr Polio assures her. He came to kiss her, placing a soft peck on her cheeks.

Freya’s eyes never left Vincenzo. Tears slowly clouded her eyes, she was leaving to face another version of life. To marry some one who is old enough to be her father.

“Goodnight, sweetheart. Don’t forget to dream about us.” He said with a chuckle.

While they dragged her back to the cell, Freya didn’t stop from looking at Vincenzo who maintained eye contact with her. Hot tears made their way out of her eyes, she was beginning to acknowledge death more than love.

She cried her eyes out, though she knew nothing could be done. It’s Vincenzo’s father, not Vincenzo, and it’s two different things.

Mr Polio was finding the evening quite fascinating after meeting Freya for the first time. He wasn’t aware she was this beautiful. He didn’t acknowledge Vincenzo’s presence, so he made his way to his room.

Vincenzo followed him. “This wasn’t what we talked about, father. You are meant to kill her and not fancy her.” He said as soon as he entered the room.

“Why didn’t you do it all these while you were with her? What kept you from pulling the trigger or having the dagger on her neck?”

“You’re definitely not helping matters right now.”

“That’s because I just changed my mind. Look, Enzo, there’s no point talking me out of this, I have made up my mind. I am taking the girl with me and I will marry her.”
