The cops captured Uncle John and led him into the car. I ran to mom who was still very hurting in the shop.
“Mom.” I called running to her.
“Isaac.” She called running to me and hugging me.
“I am so sorry Mom. I am sorry for everything, I am sorry about how you feel now.” I said and she shook her head.
“It’s not about you. You have nothing to do about this. It just that I can’t still get why he had to obey everything Elisha said when he can just tell me and we fight him together.” She said and I sighed.
“Maybe he didn’t want to drag you into the mess.” I said and she shook her head.

“What do you mean?” She asked.

“Isaac please don’t kill anyone. I know youabre hurting because Enoch is gone, i know this is all wrong but please don’t be a murderer. Let the law handle this, they will surely suffer for this. Don’t let the guilt and hatred rule your life.” She said and I nodded.
“I am not killing him nor anyone Mother. The cops will do justice to them. Killing them will be way too easy, they should be alive but in suffering.” I said and she nodded.
“So where are you going now?” She asked.
“To take Elisha. Some cops already left for his house before he can escape. I need to ask him why he wants Diana dead.” I said and she nodded.
“Okay then. I will go with you ” she said and I shook my head.
“No you won’t go with me. You need to rest.” I said.
“I have every right to be there Isaac. Diana is my daughter and the cause of all this is my sister and her husband. If she didn’t go for that Bastard and leave Jacob all this wouldn’t have happened. I need to talk to her too.” She said and I nodded.
“Okay. We are going in the police car.” I said and she rushed to get her bag. We headed out of the shop and walked to the police car.
There were two. Uncle John was in the first, mother and I were asked to stay in the second one. We zoomed off and hit the road to Elisha’s house.
Mom was silent and so was I. I couldn’t still believe Enoch was gone. I mean we just met for few hours and that happened?
I will never forgive Elisha and John and whosoever caused all this.
We got to the house and I saw the cops that went before us had already captured Elisha. He had this strong look on his face.
Why didn’t we even guess he was a criminal?
“Please can I have a talk with him?” I asked one of the cops.
“Not until we get to the station. Once we get to the station, you can talk to him.” He said and i nodded.
“Caroline!” Mom called barging into their compound. I ran after her and when we got in, we met Caroline in tears.
“Rita.” She called and when mom got close, she gave her an hot slap on her face.
“You see what your greediness has cost you? You married a murderer! Because of money. Now he is after your own daughter!” Mom yelled and Caroline held her cheek in tears.
“I am sorry.” She Said.
“No you are not, because your husband who is going to rot in jail killed my brother.” I said and she furrowed her brows.
“What are you talking about?” She asked.
“I am Danielle’s son. The one you too from her, and Enoch is my brother. And your stupid husband just killed him trying to kill Diana.” I said in anger.
“You are Danielle’s son? Oh my goodness.” She said wanting to touch me but I yanked her hands off.
“Don’t you dare. After taking me away from my mother, letting me live 20 years on the street, you think you can just touch me?” I asked in anger and Mom held my hand.
“Mother is it true?” One of the children she has for Elisha asked. She was a girl.
“Yes. But that time I…” She said and she daughter shook her head.
“I had always known you were no good parent for any child. You and father are the same.” She said angrily and barged into the house.
“That’s what you deserve, that your children see how evil you are. Just to know Diana hates you more than you can imagine.” Mom said.
“Let’s get out of here mom. I still have questions for Elisha, and you I would leave you to Diana. You should be able to live with the hatred she has for you now.” I said walking out with Mom next to me.
“You need to know that our parents are so disappointed in you. And they see that I have tried as an elder sister to you. You are a disgrace to The family.” Mom said before we finally got out of the house.
