Jimmy drove Susan to her house, helping her out of the car and lifting her gently into his arms as he approached the door. He rang the doorbell and waited patiently until Jude opened it.
“Jimmy,” Jude called out.
“Hi, Uncle Jude,” Jimmy replied, stepping inside as Jude held the door open.
“Did she drink?” Jude asked, and Jimmy nodded. Jude sighed, shaking his head. “She never ceases to amaze me.”
“Let me take her to her room,” Jimmy offered.
“Sure, when you’re done, come down and have a drink with me,” Jude said.
“Of course,” Jimmy replied, ascending the staircase towards Susan’s room while Jude watched them before retreating to the mini bar to pour himself a drink.
In Susan’s room, he carefully laid her down on the bed. As he turned to remove her shoes, she suddenly grasped his shirt, pulling him closer until their faces were mere inches apart. He swallowed hard.
“Where do you think you’re going?” she asked, blinking her eyes slowly.
“Nowhere, I was just going to take off your shoes,” he stammered.
“You don’t have to,” she replied, rolling him over and sitting on him.
“Aunt Susan, what are you doing?” he asked, gulping nervously as he struggled to control his emotions.
“What? Don’t you like what I’m doing?” she smirked, leaning in to kiss his neck.
“Aunt Susan…” he protested, trying to push her away. “Please don’t; you’re not yourself right now, and I don’t want to take advantage of you.”
“I am myself,” she insisted, stopping to meet his gaze as she caressed his face. “I know who you are, and I know what I’m doing.”
“You do?” he asked, his heart racing.
“Yes, you are my Jimmy,” she said, leaning in to kiss him deeply before pulling back to look into his eyes.
“Aunt Susan, as much as I desire you right now, I don’t want you to wake up tomorrow regretting what might happen between us.”
“No, I won’t regret anything. It’s better to do this with you than someone else,” she replied, and Jimmy rolled her over, changing their positions.
“Do you promise you mean every word you’re saying right now?” he asked, emotions swirling within him.
“I do,” she smiled, caressing his face tenderly.
“Do you truly know who you’re with at this moment?” he pressed.
“I know,” she affirmed.
“Aunt Susan, if I start, I don’t think I’ll be able to stop.”
“Then don’t,” she urged, and Jimmy chuckled, tears welling in his eyes as he leaned closer. Without another word, his lips captured hers, surrendering to the moment.
Meanwhile, Jude lingered at the doorstep, overhearing their conversation. A smile crept across his face as he shook his head, then quietly retreated to his room.

The following morning, the sun streamed brightly through the window, casting a warm glow over the room. Jimmy held Susan close beneath the duvet, their clothes scattered carelessly on the floor. Susan lay peacefully on his bare chest, her hand resting gently upon it, while Jimmy wrapped his arms around her. After a moment, he began to stir, slowly opening his eyes only to squint against the bright light. He finally adjusted, turning to gaze at Susan, still lost in her dreams.
Carefully, he shifted her off him and rested her back on the bed before sitting upright. Memories of their lost passion from the night before flooded his mind, and he let out a deep sigh, fully aware of how poorly Susan would react upon waking to the truth of what had transpired between them.
Emerging from the room with only his pants on and his bare chest exposed, Jimmy made his way down the staircase, where he found Jude already preparing breakfast.
“You’re awake,” Jude remarked, spotting him.
“Good morning, Uncle Jude,” Jimmy greeted, approaching the dining table.
“Good morning! Did you sleep well?” Jude asked, and Jimmy hesitated for a moment. “I know you did. Sit down and have some breakfast; you’ll need to regain your energy from last night,” he teased, causing Jimmy to blush shyly as he took a seat.
“Thank you,” he murmured.
“You’re welcome,” he replied, settling down across from him.
“Did you prepare all this?” he asked, glancing at the spread before him.
“Yes, I woke up early, fully aware that you two would wake up hungry,” Jude said with a knowing smile, prompting Jimmy to return a grateful grin.
“Thank you, and I’m sorry for leaving you in the dark about last night.”
“No worries, I understand,” Jude replied, his smile reassuring as they continued to eat and chat, the morning unfolding around them.
Back in the room, Susan stirred awake, sitting upright in bed, disoriented. The blanket was wrapped around her chest, and for a moment, she was lost in the fog of last night’s events. As memories flooded back, she initially thought it might have all been a dream. Turning to the other side of the bed, she spotted a t-shirt and slipped it on before making her way to the bathroom.
Minutes later, she emerged, only to find Jimmy entering the room, a tray of breakfast in hand. Their eyes met.
“You’re awake,” he said.
“Jimmy?” she called out, surprise evident as he set the tray on the table.
“I thought you’d still be asleep, so I brought breakfast that Uncle Jude prepared,” he replied nervously, aware that a difficult conversation loomed.
“What are you doing here?” she asked.
“You don’t remember?” he asked, and Susan looked away, deep in thought.
“So, it wasn’t a dream,” she murmured, realization dawning as Jimmy moved closer, taking her hands in his.
“Aunt Susan, please don’t yell at me. I need you to know that I didn’t take advantage of you last night. What happened between us was meant to be,” he said, gazing into her eyes, waiting for her reaction. To his surprise, she remained calm and offered a warm smile, easing his nerves.
“So it wasn’t just a dream or my imagination; we actually…” She sighed, struggling to articulate her thoughts.
“You’re not angry?” he asked, hopeful.
“No, I can’t be angry with you. I remember everything that happened last night. I initiated it, and I pressured you,” she admitted.
“No, you didn’t pressure me. We both agreed to it, and you can’t blame yourself,” he reassured her, gently caressing her face. “I truly love you, Aunt Susan. What happened last night means a lot to me, and I want to cherish it until the end of my days.”
“Don’t say that. I’m not angry with you; it’s not your fault. It’s in the past now,” she replied softly.
“Do you regret it?” he asked, a hint of anxiety in his voice.
“I don’t. I liked it,” she confessed, and a smile broke across Jimmy’s face as he pulled her into a tight hug, overwhelmed with happiness.
“Thank you so much, Aunt Susan. You have no idea what those words mean to me,” he said, and she embraced him back, smiling.
“You’re always welcome,” she replied, and as they pulled away, Jimmy began placing kisses across her face joyfully.
“Thank you, thank you,” he repeated, and Susan giggled, playfully trying to make him stop. But he continued until he paused, cupping her face, both of them lost in each other’s eyes.
“I love you, Aunt Susan, so much that I can’t control it. All I need is a chance to love and care for you. You don’t have to love me back or say it; my deep love for you is enough to cover us both,” he declared, seriousness etched in his features, which made Susan giggle.
“You’re so funny,” she teased, pulling away slightly. “If you say so, I’ll let you try.”
Jimmy’s excitement doubled as he pulled her into another deep hug.
“Thank you, Aunt Susan. I promise to do my best and never let you down.” He then caressed her face, their eyes locking, before he leaned closer and gently claimed her lips in a soft, slow kiss.
Susan didn’t hesitate to respond, and as the kiss deepened, they became lost in their romantic moment until he pulled away to catch their breath.
“I’m starving,” she said, breaking the spell, and Jimmy smiled, kissing her cheek.
“Of course, you need to eat. We can continue later,” he said, and Susan scoffed playfully as she sat down to eat.
