After minutes of swimming and staring at each other, we decided to stop swimming. I moved out of the water swaying my water because of the water that was on it.
I felt Jace’s gaze on my backside as I did, and I looked at him over my shoulders.
“Don’t you think that isn’t Polite?” I said Smiling and he bowed his head.
“I am sorry, I can’t just…”
“Help it. Got it.” I said finally turning to look at him.
“I should go put on something decent before somebody or my friend comes in to meet me like this, and start thinking otherwise.” I said and he smiled.
“Can I ask you something before you go?” He asked and I nodded eagerly.
“Anything.” I said smiling.
“That kiss. Was it real? Or part of the fake ones?” He asked and I smiled.
“Jace, no one was around when I kissed you. My phone wasn’t with me when I kissed you. I kissed you because I wanted to kiss you. For real this time.” I said and he smiled.
“I will get dressed.” I said picking the towel and tieing it round my body. I walked away from the pool, into the house and straight to my room with large beam on my face.
I got to the room and began to get rid of my wet clothings. I kept recalling the kiss Jace and I had at the pool again.
One thing just didn’t seem to be clear to me. Why he kissed me back so passionately even after going on a date with Celine and claiming how good she is.
And I know Celine is crazily In love with him too. Maybe that kiss was just for fun, I shouldn’t expect more.
I can’t hurt Celine. I already made it clear that I didn’t like Jace and I wanted Stefan back. Maybe I should just stick to that.
It’s for everyone’s good. Jace is Celine’s now. I shouldn’t disrupt that union.
I was getting another Clothing from my closet when I heard that annoying familiar voice in the living room.
“what does Lydia want this time?” I asked angrily. I wore my clothes in haste and hit the stairs down to the living room.
“Jace we need to talk.” She said to Jace who had already changed his clothes. Well I wasn’t surprised, guys don’t waste time on their wears.
“Lydia what is it this time? To be honest, I am tired and I need to rest.” He said weakly and then I walked closer to them.
“Jace is very tired right now, so you can talk to me instead. I will tell him exactly what you said.” I said standing in front of her.
“I wish I could. But it’s very obvious to yourself that you know nothing about music talkless of the music institute.” She said and Jace held my hand immediately.
“Elena don’t worry. You can go up now, we would talk for few minutes and we are done.” He said looking at me and I nodded still staring at Lydia.
“Few minutes it is. You know you should take a good nap, after the stress we went through today.” I said smiling and he nodded grinning too.
I looked at Lydia once more as I moved up the stairs. I really wanted to know what was going on in the institute that took such urgency.
All I hope for is that nothing tampers with me getting into that institute.

“What is this about Lydia?” I asked in a whisper.
“Why are you whispering?” She asked looking confused and i sighed.
“Just answer the question Lydia. What’s going on at the institute?” I asked in a whisper.
“What is going is that the institute is falling apart because the owner has decided to keep himself occupied with some unnecessary things.” She said in a loud tone and I placed my palm against her mouth.
“Stop raising your voice okay?” I said and she narrowed her gaze.
“What are you hiding?” She asked and I shook my head.
“Nothing. Tell me what you think I need to do.” I said standing akimbo.
“You need to come back to your institute okay? Our long time clients have been visiting these days and they have been demanding to see you personally, not the manager.” She said and I breathed out heavily.
“And why are you just telling me this?” I asked.
“Because I thought mark would be responsible enough to let you know this but he has just proved himself totally irresponsible.” She said and I nodded.
“I would resume back to the institute Tomorrow. Reschedule a meeting with our clients. I will take as many as possible tomorrow.” I said and she nodded.
“Good for you. I prefer the working Jace to the one that sits in the house nursing a lady. See you tomorrow.” She said smiling and she headed out of the house.
I looked up the stairs checking to see if Elena wasn’t eavesdropping. Cos that would be another disaster on it’s own.
