If fire lived in human eyes, El Crow’s eyes would be a representation of it.
The moment he realized it was his water with her—on her lips, he lowered his phone, slowly.

Skylar also lowered the bottle from her lips after having the needed amount of drink to push the bubble gum down her throat.
Now she was calm, taking small deep breaths as she looked at the bottle, wondering who put it there.
But merely seeing El Crow in front, glaring at her, her expression rotted.
She forgot about the owner of the bottle and just glared back.
“What a undesirable face to see before the start of a match. Now I have to go wash my eyes.”
She dropped the bottle exactly where she picked it from, and El Crow immediately picked it from there.
Her eyes snapped up, meeting his.
Still, he said nothing. But he began opening the bottle back.
Skylar looked confused, hoping what she was thinking would be false.
He couldn’t be the owner of the water. Right?
She got her harsh answer when El Crow finished opening the bottle and threw the water forward.
All of it.
On her face.
He dropped the empty bottle on the floor, and Skylar with wide mouth looked down at herself, shocked.
But she was never the type to be grounded by shock.
She snapped back fast and hijacked a bottle from a Dread who was about to enter the preparatory.
She didn’t have to open it. Her mysterious strength was here since she was around El Crow.
She pulled the bottle in half and threw water at El Crow too, wetting him just the way he did.
“You think I’d have drank from it if I knew it belonged to you? Now I have to visit a witch for a mouth herb because I can’t afford to contact infection from your filth!”
She inserted her finger in her throat and vomited the water she just drank together with a little stomach fluid and slippery saliva, to the floor.
“Look at you.” El Crow chuckled from his end. “Acting slow as per usual.”
“If I’m slow, then you are crawling like my salivary gland, twerp!” She fired back.
They lunged for each other.
Skylar threw the first hit with her knee, but he blocked with his wrist and drove his punch into her nose.
The nose nearly broke, and she was still bleeding from the nostrils to the mouth when she sent back the punch to his right eye.
The eye swelled immediately, stinging as blood leaked out of the corners.
Their super strengths was driving them insane, and they needed to exert it on each other, so they made use of the rage and clashed again.
“You have no idea what I have planned for you!” He seethed.
Arturo and the other Enigmas came out of the preparatory.
Also, Satan and the other Dreads came out of the second preparatory, both teams witnessing the madness of their two team members.
“Get them off!” Arturo yelled. “This isn’t the time to act like this!”
Castle and Bishop went for it.
Renee and Quincy went to Skylar too.
They grabbed Skylar just like Castle and Bishop held El Crow down.
“I’m not done with your head, fucker! I’m not done!” Skylar struggled, spitting forward, but it didn’t reach El Crow. “The day I’ll kill you is the day I’ll mark my first success, wretch! Your mother doesn’t even want you!”
“Of course,” El Crow laughed psychotically, the blood from his eye journeying down his jaw like a red tear. He wasn’t struggling with his draggers at all. “But guess whose mother is unknown?” He continued taunting. “Guess whose father is unknown, and guess whose life is built on nothingness.”
Hearing that, Skylar easily broke free from Quincy and Renee, aiming to go for El Crow again, but her chest ached, reminding her of the pain.
Midnight blocked her way too.
She stopped, gulping angrily and panting, lips tightening as the pain in her chest thudded again.
Midnight didn’t have to talk.
She turned around and walked out of the hallway, reeking of rage.
“Long Legs!” Quincy hollered, going after her with Renee.
“Bunch of losers,” Roselle mumbled, smiling, though she’s feeling pains on her right eye. “Does she really think she has the right to taunt anyone about their parental status when she’s just a garbage picked from a junkyard?” She huffed.
“Junkyard?” Roy said beside her.
Roselle looked at him sourly. “If you’re not ready to do what I asked, you have no right to talk to me.”
With that, she walked out of the hallway too, but like a leech, Roy went after her.
Everyone left the hallway till it was only four people left in the hallway. Satan, Midnight, Arturo and castle.
“I don’t see fear on your face, Arturo,” Satan taunted. “That’s bad, cos you should be scared. Tonight, you and your team won’t go back in a piece.”
“We never came as a piece, Satan.” Arturo shrugged. “We came as a team if you know what that is. How often do you study?” He grinned.
“I hear the fear behind that grin. Don’t struggle to hide it, Arturo.” Midnight chirped in, flavourless.
“And I see the failure under that duvet-like coat of yours,” Castle said. “Can you try to look less like a onion with your usually busy dress sense?”
“Look who got mouthy,” Satan shot him a look. “You’ll regret using that mouth later. I always keep to my words, and my threats.”
The first bell signifying the close start of the match sounded, and Midnight left the hallway with Satan.
“You’ve always rejected the role of being recognized as my underboss. Why talk to Midnight on my behalf?” Arturo queried Castle.
“I just couldn’t stand and watch him saying anything foul, Boss. I hate him almost more than Satan herself.” Castle claimed.
Arturo looked at him unfathomably.
“The special guest will be present tonight again. I think he’s coming with a plus-one, and that’s why the seats in the VIP curtain is two. Heard he bet half a billion on Rosita.”
“Half a … Billion?” Castle gasped.
“The rate is not the issue. The issue is finding out who he is. Tonight is your last chance, Castle,” Arturo said.
Castle nodded.
“I understand.”
—
Skylar couldn’t find a washroom or a full bathroom anywhere.
The available washrooms were for the VIP guests and team bosses like Satan and Arturo.
Even top tiers like her had no spot in this underground.
But she really needed to wash her lips till it shreds. It wasn’t even a joke. Drinking in the same bottle as the stitchmouth was driving her mad.
And the statement he made about her parental status. She was oozing with fury because of that.
She wanted a outlet right now.
The hallways were empty. No rogues, guests, and the thug bettors. Everyone’s in the ring hall already.
Skylar stopped walking at the end of the dimly lit hallway, spitting again. She already spat close to twenty times since she drank from that bottle.
The disgust.
The irritation.
It was killing her.
She tried to calm as she looked at herself. On her shirt, STAY BACK, I BURN TOO MUCH was written.
But obviously, that bastard wasn’t the heeding type.
That bloody bastard.
She curved the corner, and her luck finally clicked. A water dispenser sat there, clean and inviting.
She rushed over and spilled the water open, scooping on her palm and drinking. She held the water in her mouth and folded her lips inside, letting the water touch everywhere.
“But guess whose mother is unknown?” His words stretched the web of hate higher, and she bit her lip as she rinsed her mouth harder, but she didn’t care. She spat out the water in her mouth and drank another one, starting the round two.
She had no idea.
Not even littlest idea who she was.
She knew her parents were somewhere, waiting for her to come back, or maybe they thought she was dead and were already moving on with their lives, or they were poor slaves like Bellatrix said, and they’ve probably died of hunger.
The thoughts made her head scatter. She stopped thinking straight. She stopped thinking deep.
The puddles ran her crazy. The shallow waters messed with her head. She carried the dispenser and threw it against the wall.
Water.
Water splashed, spilled, and wet the hall, flowing under her boots and drenching her shirt slightly.
She stood with the running water, looking devastated, hating El Crow more for taunting her.
“Long Legs!” Quincy caught up finally, running into the hallway.
Skylar turned, and he became a dartboard for her anger.
“Stop. Calling. Me. Long. Legs!!!!!”
Quincy stopped, panting.
“Are you ok, Skylar?” He asked worriedly, looking unperturbed by her harshness.
Skylar turned away.
“Skylar.” he stepped over the water, trying to get to her.
“Don’t come closer!” She warned. “Or I’ll really wound you.”
With that, she went the other end, disappearing down the hallway.
Quincy stood there, looking at the water crawling around, and at himself. He was sweating cos he had chased her here.
He took a deep breath and turned around, meeting Renee behind himself. She wasn’t smiling.
“You really don’t like Skylar romantically, and I’m supposed to believe that?” She crossed arms.
“What are you on about?” Quincy frowned, moving closer.
“You ran after her to this place and didn’t even get angry when she talked harshly to you! You tolerate her personality so much it’s sickening!” Renee yelled, body trembling badly with something indefinable.
“Since we’re talking about tolerating personalities now,” Quincy walked to her, counting his steps and making sure his eyes never left hers. “Should we also talk about our tier guys you were talking to some days ago? Laughing and receiving compliments as if I don’t give you enough?”
“What are you even saying!” She glared. “They were our tier mates and I was glad they were finally talking to me since we’ve always been ignored!”
“I don’t care!” He snapped. “We were enough for each other when we were getting ignored, and nothing should change that! We’re enough! You can’t smile at anybody else. I mean it.”
“And you can’t run after Skylar like a fool anymore!” She returned. “You’re my brother! Mine alone!”
“I’m not romantically involved with Skylar. I’m only after her cos we need her to up our skills!” He snarled.
“Swear to me!” She requested.
He raised his fingers immediately. “I, Quincy Adams, swear that if I have any romantic entanglement with Skylar Vox, I’ll die before 25!”
Renee swallowed, blinking.
“Happy now?” He lowered his fingers.
She nodded, and he took her hand, leading her out of the hallway.
A secret smile curved Renee’s lips.

[Ring Hall]
The night was set to begin.
The hall was now properly filled with the right amount of people. Tonight, the underground experienced the highest number of crowd this year.
Satan and Midnight were now sitting on the spectators level.
Likewise Arturo and Castle. They now sat on the spectators too, and they looked unsure as they stared at the Enigma supporters angle which was empty except for the Enigmas there.
The raised VIP curtain was already filled too—with two people.
Jethro and his daughter.
Bellatrix sat beside her father on the second couch, and the howls of the people below them made her greatly uncomfortable as she wasn’t used to crowds, but she came because of just one person, so she’d endure.
She came for El Crow.
The muslin curtain was designed to make the people outside only see their shadows, but from inside like this, she and her father could see everything outside clearly.
She could see El Crow where he sat on the Enigma supporters seat, looking angry as usual.
He always looked angry.
She was smiling as she stared, counting his features attentively.
Blonde. Buff body. Tall. Frowny face with that usual pull between his brows. Darkly tattooed body, especially the big right arm. He loved wearing loose leather pants and Jean pants too on white or ash singlets. He smelled endearing like earth after rainfall. He was tempting.
Bellatrix relaxed on her chair, feeling her palms turning sweaty. What if after she chased him, he didn’t return her feelings. What it it became a one-sided stuff?
What if…she falls too hard?
She was a fragile girl from the onset, and the thought of having to cry over this guy’s rejection was killing her.
She clamped her clammy palms.
El Crow sent for a cookie, and a low tier Enigma brought it. He opened and began eating big. He didn’t eat slow with small bites. He ate like he wanted to devour everything at once.
With great appetite, but still moderate.
Bellatrix watched as his jaws contracted and relaxed. The way his small lips moulded around the cookies he was eating made her sweat more, heart pounding.
How was eating attractive to her?
God. She was losing her mind.
“What’s making my bambolina so restless?” Jethro talked beside her, and she turned to him.
“El Crow?” Jethro caught on when he saw where she was staring at.
“Dad—”
“I left it alone only because you told me to leave it for you to handle, Bella. I hate seeing you restless without uprooting the cause. He’s not too big for my men to abduct, and I’ll make him impregnate you for a start. In fact, this can be sorted if I reveal myself to his father,” Jethro said, eyes colder than antarctic.
“Daaad,” she shook her head. “You’ve been doing everything for me all my life. Is it bad that I want to handle this myself? I want him to love me, not with your forceful ways.”
Jethro scoffed.
“You’ll later learn that those forceful ways were the reason I made it this big.” He relaxed completely.
Bellatrix got her phone and placed a bet on the betting platform.
She bet a million on Team Enigma.
“You bet like that cos it’s your crush’s team?” Arturo said.
“Don’t judge me,” Bellatrix pouted, resting her head on his shoulder. “You said I could bet on whoever I wanted, and I just did.”
Jethro laughed evilly, and they both shifted their eyes back to the ring.
In three minutes, the match would start. The tension grew.
El Crow remained seated, eating his cookies alone.
No one came close.
Bishop and Kent and Lovato stood behind him, eager like the rest.
“God. I know I don’t go to church, but please….we need to win this match.” Kent muttered into his palms.
Bishop was tapping his shoe on the floor, and Lovato was nervously caressing the little teddy mouse attached to her keycard.
When her eyes met with Bishop’s, Bishop reproachfully looked away.
Abet taker suddenly came to El Crow… “Sir, someone just bet on the team, and it’s an important person.”
El Crow looked up.
“Bellatrix Ortega, sir.” The taker said.
El Crow hadn’t replied when the last bell rang, signifying the start.
The hall erupted into chaos again. The underground boomed and rang.
It was crazy from the Dread supporters side, but not even a scream dropped from Enigmas angle cos even the team members were too anxious to shout. They looked frozen.
Blade and Rosita entered the ring from both sides, and the night finally started when the announcer stepped back for their space.
And this was when Skylar entered the hall. She didn’t join Enigmas angle.
She stood alone at a side.
“Rosita!!!!”
“Rosita!!!”
“Ros!!”
“Sita!!!!”
That was the only sound in the underground as the fighters rounded each other in the ring as if trying to measure abilities before it started.
But then it started.
The two forward throws from Blade were parried by Rosita.
She flung back, shot forward, and threw her forwards too, but Blade parried just like she did.
His body sank down, and his hands curled around her legs, picking them up for peeling, but Rosita thrust her elbow on his back, slashing dangerously through his backbone.
Once. Twice. Thrice.
Blade let go and lay flat, thrusting his legs up and getting her in the face.
Rosita staggered back, but she used the force to her own advantage, throwing herself back up and spinning like a jelly.
The uppercut she landed on him made his whole facial skin shake. His body vibrated. His chest hollowed.
“Yes!!!!!!!!” The crowd roared up.
On Arturo’s seat, he grabbed the armrest tight, body paused.
“What are you doing, Blade?” Castle muttered as if Blade could hear him.
“That uppercut was something he could easily parry!” Lovato panicked.
“The fuck is wrong with Blade!” Bishop spranged up.
“God. Please… I’ll go celibate for three days if we win this match. You can’t just abandon me, right? If I’m shamed, you’ll be shamed too.”
El Crow just sat, unmoved.
It’s even debatable if he was breathing cos he watched without blinking or acting surprised.
Blade gathered himself together, refolded his fists and prepared himself for the next round.
The bell came again, and they lunged for each other like racoons.
Their bodies swayed to the side, and they both faked a move as if planned, then their blows came at the same time. The punches met each other, and their hands went weak as they staggered, away from each other.
But no one cooled down.
Rosita made use of the heat. She landed a middle stomach blow which made Blade grunt, but not for long.
His fingers threaded roughly through her braided hair, and her head was yanked up. He raised his knee and smashed her mouth into his knee.
The hall went silent.
But Enigmas went wild with excitement.
Blade was finally back in track.
He smashed Rosita’s mouth into his knee again, then he smashed her throat against his kneecap too.
She bled.
“My God. That’s brutal!” Bellatrix covered her mouth.
Jethro couldn’t even reply. He was too focused on the fight.
There were few people in this world who got off on violence.
He was one of them.
Rosita fell on the floor, and Blade trapped her neck, waiting.
Satan’s eyes dimmed.
Same with midnight.
“One!” The announcer counted.
“Two!”
Before he could count three, Rosita coughed back to life, and Blade let her go immediately.
She got up, and the third round began accordingly.
Rosita rushed him, sending her head into his stomach like a bullet.
Blade fell back against the thick ropes, and she swung her leg to his chin, cutting him deep.
His chin tore.
But he didn’t move.
Rosita’s blows became repetitive, every hit to his chest and face, every blow intentionally sliced.
Blade leaned on the ropes, taking everything. He looked too tired to fight back or lift a finger.
“Blade!!!!” Castle yelled from the spectators table.
“Is he doing this on purpose?” Bishop muttered disappointedly.
“Oh no,” Lovato panicked again. She already abandoned the teddy mouse.
El Crow still didn’t do a thing.
Kent opened his eyes, seeing what was going on. “We’re finished.”
“I mightn’t like her, but she’s still my twin, and I knew she’d do well.” Roselle bragged, laughing.
Roy couldn’t laugh.
He was still trapped thinking about what Roselle told him to do.
Quincy and Renee were screaming maddeningly loud in jubilation like the other Dreads.
On her spot, Skylar was quiet.
Now, Blade was on the floor. Rosita climbed the ropes.
The crowd held it’s breaths.
Rosita jumped, and at the same time, Blade rolled weakly from his spot.
“Spin, bitch!” Skylar yelled supportively from the crowd.
Rosita spun, throwing her body to Blade’s new spot.
She crashed down to his ribcage, ending his breaths completely.
“One!!”
“Two!!”
Blade remained down.
“Three!!!!”
“Yesssssss!!!!!!!!!”
The hall scattered with screams, and the Dread supporters went wilder.
Some broke their own chairs in mad happiness that they topped.
Some tossed their shirts away and some climbed the tables.
“Team Dread!”
“Team Dread!!”
“Team Dread!!!”
Rosita was snatched from the ring and carried on the shoulder of a female bouncer. They began running around with her, screaming.
Roselle hissed.
“She just won, what’s so special?”
In the VIP curtain, Jethro laughed amusingly, cradling his wine glass as he threw his head back.
“This has gotta be the most interesting match in a while. Satan kept to her words.”
“I lost my bet,” Bellatrix muttered, sad for Team Enigma. “How’s El Crow gonna be feeling right now?
“Let’s go.” Jethro stood.
The bar was lowered, and while Bellatrix used her black shades and cap for disguise, Jethro used his hat.
Arturo and Castle left the underground before anyone else, and on their way out, they luckily sighted father and daughter.
Jethro intentionally lifted his hat a bit and looked Arturo in the eye before leaving the hall with Bellatrix.
“It’s Jethro Ortega?” Arturo said.
“Clearly.” Castle replied as they stepped out.
—
Dread House became a home of party immediately everyone returned from the underground.
Rosita was the face of the party. She was bathed with champagne even when she was against it.
Dreads sang her praises around the house, deafening those who cared to listen to the chants.
Skylar left the house when it got too much. She drove off on her bike.
Meanwhile, at the Enigma House, it was deafening silence.
Like everyone’s mouth turned indefinitely paralyzed.
It started raining that night, and when El Crow appeared in the house, he looked like wet punishment.
Everyone in the hallways scoot aside even though there was enough space to walk through already, but anything to avoid his anger.
He barged into Arturo’s Office where Blade stood in front of the desk, receiving queries.
He didn’t wait.
He went for Blade and dragged his head to the wall, hitting it there.
Blade slumped, grunting with bleeding head which he grabbed.
“El!” Arturo stood.
But it didn’t end.
He grabbed a empty bottle of wine from under the desk and broke it on the wall, then he thrust the broken bottle into Blade’s lap, deeply.
“Argggghh!!!!” Blade cried out, baring his teeth in a sorrowed tenor.
His blood sprinkled the office floor.
“El!!” Arturo snatched the bottle from him and covered Blade.
“Stop, now!!!”
Castle entered. Seeing Blade’s condition, he gasped shockingly.
“If you lost the match by weakness, I’d know, but that wasn’t the case. I sat there in the underground, watching everything unfold!” El Crow growled, too mad. “You didn’t lose the match by weakness, you intentionally lost to Rosita you degenerate!”
“What are you talking about!” Arturo and Castle chorused.
“Did you not?” El Crow snarled at Blade, madder. “Did you not?!!!”
“Why would he intentionally lose to Rosita!” Castle queried.
“Ask him!” El Crow snarled. “As a matter of fact, you’re gonna go out there and kneel in the rain.”
“What is wrong with you!” Castle pointed at his own head, facing El Crow. “Are you insane?”
But El Crow kept looking at Blade who looked too hurt.
“It’s either the rain, or the Cage of Shame. Pick one.” He said.
The office fell silent.

[Daybreak – Jethro’s House]
Jethro woke early since he had some work to do in his study.
With his short tobacco pipe to his lips, he entered his study, grinning as he reminisced about last night.
“I should pay Satan a visit,”
He took his seat, and one of his men came in. “We already sent the kids to the streets for today’s job, sir. Including the stubborn kid.”
“Send some men to watch her from the shadows. That little wench might be up to something,” Jethro said.
“I’ll do that, sir.” The man nodded.
“And prepare for a visitor. I intentionally showed Arturo my face last night. He’ll come,” Jethro added.
“Yes, sir.” The man nodded again.
“Where’s Bella?”
“Young Miss is currently preparing to go see El Crow.” The guard said.
“This early?” Jethro laughed shortly. “Her way is so boring. She could have told me to kidnap that guy for her, and it’ll be done with a snap.”
Bellatrix entered the study immediately.
“Dad!”
—
That early morning, Skylar opened her eyes to the bright morning light with a slight sleepy yawn.
She checked out her surroundings. She was on the chair she slept on last night inside a abandoned truck.
It was still raining lightly.
She took her jacket and left the truck. She emerged between two buildings and stepped in front of the store—the same one she got maltesers from.
Her addiction to it made her decide to get one, but entering the shop, she met the unexpected.
The attendant was arguing with a really little girl who was holding a single pack of malteser.
“Please, please you have to buy from me…” She cried.
“What do you mean?” The attendant pointed to the shelf. “There are five cartoons of it here, and you want me to buy one from you?”
“Please…” The kid cried more. “Please just buy from…”
“Why do you smell so bad?” The attendant held his nose.
Skylar entered the store, and both the kid and the attendant turned.
“It’s you,” Skylar muttered, staring straight at the little girl. “The runaway annoying brat.”
It was the girl from the piercers.
“Sister?” The girl sniffled.
“Oh now I’m sister again?” Skylar scoffed, arms crossed.
The kid rushed to her, pointing the maltesers pleadingly.
“Please, please buy from me…”
Skylar drew back, covering her nose. “Fuck. Why did you smell worse?”
The kid sniffled again.
“What’s your name?” Skylar asked.
Before the kid could reply, men filed into the shop from both doors.
Not just men.
Huge, foreign-looking men in suits. They all have a ‘BAX’ brooch attached to their chests, indicating that they worked for same person.
The kid quickly tried to run out of the store, but she was grabbed by one of them, and she began crying.
“I wasn’t slacking. I was only telling her to buy….”
“Telling her to buy by calling her Sister? Wench, who’s she to you?”
“I don’t know her!!” The kid cried out, and one of them flung her a slap.
A tooth fell from her too.
A decayed, rough tooth as a result of no brushing and care.
She landed down, gasping, bleeding from the gum, struggling as her begging eyes met with Skylar’s own.
“Sis… sister. My name is….Eden. please….help….m…”
She passed out, and Skylar dropped her jacket on the floor, slowly as her gaze bored through the men.
“You choose a unfortunate morning to piss me off…” She muttered, going straight for the flank of men.
A sharp backhand flew past her face tilted, and a headbutt met her hip, nearly throwing her off.
These men were highly trained.
She could feel it with just those two moves from them.
So she prepared before the next move.
A jump. A leg hook. A swirl.
She sank a pen into the neck of one of them, but he didn’t fall.
Even as he bled, he didn’t groan.
He didn’t make a sound at all.
Skylar’s eyes twitched.
These fuckers didn’t feel pain.
They didn’t.
She dodged a head grab from one of them, then she clutched the heads of two of them at the same time, bringing them to the shelf…
To the wall, to the door…
To the floor.
Their faces became pudding.
She raised them up and picked another pen, stabbing their stomachs in eight different places.
Clean. Bloody. Professional.
They died without making a sound, and she slit their throats.
Her palms and face became bloody, and her lips hooked with menace.
While she was doing these, the rest of the men were coming behind her.
She dropped the two bodies and faced them, ready to devour.
But she couldn’t.
She came to a standstill.
Her chest.
It hammered.
The ache. The pain. The agony.
It hit like a hurricane.
She grabbed the chest, and her eyes turned like never before.
The stitchmouth wasn’t even here, but it was aching? Was this how it’s gonna keep getting worse?
Was this how Inferno wanted to play this game? She hated herself.
She hated this game.
This procedure.
She hated this weakness!!
She wanted to kill everybody.
Starting from the stitchmouth.
She couldn’t straighten.
The men jointly sent finessed blows to her on all sides.
Skylar went down.
Her body swept the floor as she rolled to the other end of the store.
They pulled their guns at the same time, ready to mass-shoot her.
But it was only a thought.
It didn’t materialize.
“Brother?” Eden’s weak voice spoke behind them.
The men turned.
Eden was already awake, and by the door, El Crow was entering.
Like breeze. He entered.
He targeted the man who looked like the leader of the men and tossed his scissors at him, precisely.
The man pushed down a shelf to cover himself, but the scissors tore through the shelf and still came for him, getting him in the chest.
The rest of the men rushed to him, and El Crow went to Skylar who was just sitting up from her flat position.
Their eyes clashed as he stood in front of her, and the hatred burned again, so ridiculously high.
They could imagine driving thorns through each other’s souls right now, but currently, saving Eden was obviously more important.
El Crow extended an hand to her.
She took it, and he pulled her up.
Her strength returned.
Their super strengths rolled together.
By now, the men were all up again, ready to finish them off.
El Crow went on a clean squat.
She jumped and landed calculatedly on his shoulder. From there, she tumbled to the men.
El Crow stood swiftly, and their eyes glinted faint red together.
Their smirks were deathly.
