I groaned softly as I gained consciousness. I couldn’t open my eyes yet for they were too heavy for me.
Forced them open but my vision was blurry, it took me two minutes before it became clear.
Where am I??.
Gosh my head hurts like hell.
I turned to my bedside only to see drey sleeping peacefully with our fingers locked.
“Drey ??” I whispered.
I removed my finger and held his hand in a comforting manner.
” Baby please don’t leave me just yet . Why do you wanna leave me and sunshine” I mumbled to myself as silent tears roll down my cheeks.
I seriously want to get off this bed and move over to his bedside and hug him tight but I can’t my body hurts so much.
“You wanna leave us right ? You thought me how to be a strong girl now you the one being a weakling” I muttered as more tears roll down .
Almost immediately I felt his thumb rub against my palm.
” Who told you I was gonna leave you and sunshine babe” I heard his deep voice .
I turned immediately to see he was awake.
” Baby ?” I whisper audibly as I smiled out tears.
“It’s babe , you should know they can’t get rid of me yet .” He smiled weakly .
The doctor walked in only to meet us awake , he had the surprised emotion .
“Oh my God this is in deed a miracle” I shouted and check out drey’s vitals.
” Hello doctor ” drey grinned and winked at him .

“Wow Mr Williams this is quite impressive . An hour ago you were in a coma we never thought you would wake up anytime soon” the doctor smiled.

Larry rolled his eyes dramatically making us laugh.
“Thanks man for watching my back” drey said as he tried to touch drey.
Luckily I stood and sat upright and kissed kissed his palm.
He placed his hand on my tummy and rubbed it playfully.
“It’s nothing Bro that’s what family does ” Larry grinned.
” How are you feeling Lisa hope my little nephew is doing alright” he asked.
” Durr your little nephew is gonna be a girl Mister” I rolled my eyes at them.
” We’ll see about that babe” drey closed his eyes like he was sleeping.

It’s been six months since me and Lisa got married , I must say pregnant women have a thing for nagging.
I turned cleaner, cook , house keeper for Mrs Williams who complain about everything.
Right now am downstairs in the kitchen making the corns pop.
The queen of my heart wants to popcorn and ice cream too.
The doctor said she shouldn’t take too much ice cream but she won’t listen .

I heard her scream out from upstairs. I left what I was doing and rushed upstairs only to meet her in pain.
“Are you okay?” I asked with concern as I rushed to her side.
“I think the baby is coming ” she shouted as she was breathing in and outta her mouth.
” Let me get the car ” I wanted to walk away but she held me back by the shorts.
” No don’t go stay with me” she mumbled .
“But I have to get you to the hospital ” I looked her confused.
” Ahh my waist ” she exclaimed.
I rushed downstairs to the garage and got one of the cars ready before coming back to pick her .
“Can you walk?” I asked her.
“No ” she said at the verge of tears.
I nodded and carried her in bridal style to the car.
I helped her into the back seat while I took the driver side before driving outta the house to the hospital.
AT THE HOSPITAL.
I paced around impatiently waiting for the doctor to come out , I could hear her screaming in the labour room .
Her screams really weakened my spirit at the same time I was scared .
The doctor came out shortly grinning from ear to ear .
I was convinced that there’s good news.
“Doctor how’s the mother and child” I asked immediately.
“Congratulations sir , your wife and babies are safe ” he said excitedly.
Wait !! Did he just say babies?.
” Babies? ” I asked confused.
“Oh yeah she gave birth to twins a boy and a girl .Congrats once again man , they’re in the VIP ward down the hallway” he said and walked away.

I did my Happy dance before walking hastily towards their ward.
I can’t wait to meet my family.
Got to the ward , the babies were in placed close to their mom.
“Baby ” I called and rushed to her side .
“See I got you two little monchis ” she smiled weakly.
“you don’t know how proud I’m right now honey” I said and kissed her lightly.
” What should we call them ” she asked.
“This funny fella right here ” I giggled as I took him from his mom and tickle his chubby cheek.
” Am gonna call you jaylen star and you pretty angel is gonna be called Jordan shine . Now who’s my pretty little sunshine ” i giggled as I made funny faces making them giggled.
” I love you baby ” I said and peeked her cheeks.
“I love you even more ” she replied as she rested up while I play with my little monchis.
