After bathing, we both walked to the bedroom holding hands. It was like a dream come true for me.
But it was still so hard to believe that Princess Katika would stoop so low to date someone like me, when there are many other ladies at higher rank out there.
“What are you thinking about?” Katika asked wrapping her hands around my waist from behind.
“Nothing.” I lied smiling.
“It’s obvious you are lying Mei. Tell me.” She said walking to my front pouting her mouth like a baby.
“Why me?” I asked and she smiled shrugging her shoulders.
“I don’t know. I just like you. Or is it a crime to like you?” She asked and I shook my head.
“No, not that. I mean I am not even in the same Status as you. I am an ex-slave and it’s kinda amazing you picked interest in me. Just like that.” I said and she laughed softly cupping my face in her hands.
“I don’t care who you are or where you are from. I love you and that’s it.” She said and I smiled.
“Thank you Katika. I love you too.” I said and she nodded giving me a peck on the lips.
“You will be living here as from now on. I know you don’t have a place to stay, so don’t stay no. I want to wake up every morning to see you by my side.” She said wrapping her hands around my neck and I held her by the waist.
“I would love to stay here with you too.” I replied and she smiled.
“So it’s done. Forget about your clothing, I would get that sorted out.” She said and I nodded.
“What of Maya? Won’t you go talk to her? She looks really pissed and that’s not good when it comes to Maya.” I said and she scoffed.
“Do you want me to talk to her?” She asked and I nodded.
“I don’t want you to live in enimity with your sister. It won’t be good.” I said and she smiled widely.
“That’s so sweet of you. I would do just that.” She said and I smiled.
“Yes. So…” I said sitting on the bed.
“Won’t you miss your friends? Won’t they think you are a bad person for being with someone like me?” She asked and I sighed knowing the answer to it all is a yes.
“It’s a yes for the two. I just want them to know I have nothing against them.” I said with a sad face.
“And are you sure they won’t have anything against us? If not you, me.” She said and I shook my head.
“I don’t know Katika.” I replied.
“The only way for us to know is if you keep an eye out.” She said and I furrowed my brows.
“How?” I asked.
“You can pretend to go back to them, and any of their plans you feed them back to me. You don’t want me dead do you?” She asked and I shook my head.
“No one is dying.” I Stated and she nodded.
“There’s only one way to be sure. And that’s if you act as a spy amongst them.” She said and I looked at her.

I sat on the bed still thinking about what Maya told us. I don’t think Mei would betray us again, she was truly sorry the last time.
“Are you still thinking about Mei?” Arjun asked walking into the room.
“I can’t stop thinking about it Arjun. What if Maya is saying the truth?” She asked looking at me.
“And what if she isn’t?” He asked and I sighed loudly.
“I don’t know Arjun. I don’t know.” I said feeling so down.
“Akira, this isn’t good for our baby okay? Leave the thinking to me. I would sort it out. Everything will be okay.” He said and I nodded slowly.
“I hope so. I don’t know how I would react if I know Mei is planning something against us with Katika.” I stated and he hugged me.
“Like i said, don’t think about it. I would take care of it.” He said and suddenly, there came a knock on the door.
“Who is it?” Arjun asked.
“It’s Mei.” She responded and my eyes widened.
“She came back?” I thought remembering what Maya said.
PRINCESS HANA
“Please eat up Aaron,you need the strength.” I said passing the spoon of rice to him .
He opened his eyes two days ago, and since then I have been with him, taking care of him.
His mother has been with the queen, taking care of her. I must say she is a very loyal servant.
I told Aaron everything that happened from the beginning till the present time.
“I don’t have appetite Hana. You have been feeding me non-stop for two days now. I am tired of eating.” He said and I smiled.
“I just want you to get your strength back as soon as possible. I can’t wait for you to be very okay.” I said and he smiled.
“Thank you Hana.” He said and I smiled.
“You don’t have to thank me. You went back to get me and that was when you got shot. You took those bullets because of me, this is the least I can do.” I said and he smiled.
“So we can be together now? Your father isn’t king anymore.” He said and I nodded happily.
“Arjun is happy with Akira, Niran with Vanna and then…” I stated and paused shyly.
“Aaron and Hana.” He said and I laughed softly.
“Yes. Aaron and Hana.” I replied and he took my hand in his.
“Marry me Hana.” He said and my eyes widened and my mouth dropped open.
