Avril’s POV
Ace and I were touring the garden, my eyes glancing around the garden.
My garden.
A lot of things have changed here, mom has taken good care of it.
“So, how long have you been working here?” I asked. He glanced at me, his face still stone cold.
“Two years.” He replied shortly. He doesn’t talk much I see.
I sat down on a sofa in the garden.
“Did you go to college?” I asked, he was quiet for awhile before nodding.
Oh so he studied security? Or what? Lol.
It was already late, I wonder when Ishmael will call. I sigh and keep scrolling through my phone.
I enter my Instagram account and scroll through it staring st the pictures of my friends.
Ishmael just upload a picture, he captioned it ‘my sweet vanilla, missing her that I want to fly’ @avrilbanaras.
I smiles and click on the like then type in a comment. ‘I miss you,love.”
Two minutes later his call came in.
�Hello sweet vanilla.”� He greeted, oh come on. Can he just stop calling me that?
I smiled and glanced at Ace, he was looking somewhere else. Just good.
�What are you doing now?”� I asked, biting my lip at the thought of him laying on his bed shirtless.
�Laying down on my bed, scrolling through our pictures.”� He replies. The feeling is mutual then. He misses me as much as I do.
�I will be in my room soon then I’ll face time you, sounds good?” I asked, he hummed.
“Okay, expect my call in ten minutes.” I hanged up and keep my phone inside my pocket.
“Ace?” I called, looking at him.
“Yes, your excellency?”
“Carry me.” I told me, he stared at me for some moment before squatting down in front of me. I climbed on his back and rest my head on his body,my head holding tightly to his neck.
He started working towards the main entrance, my eyes slowly closing.
I don’t want to disappoint Ishmael, I want to see his face.
A guard pushed the main entrance door open for us. He bowed when he sees me and Ace walk inside the house.
Climbing up the stairs he pushed open my door and walk to the bed then slowly dropped me. Jane my personal maid walk in.
“Good evening your excellency, I’ll go bring out your nightwear now.” She told me and I nodded.
“You don’t have to tell, you do. Got it?” I snapped at her, she gulped and nervously nodded.
She opened my closet and walk in.
I turned to face Ace and furrowed my eyebrow.
“Why are you still here? Get out.” I commanded. He raised an eyebrow and nodded before walking out.
Damn this low class people thinking I get to befriend them.
I fished out my phone from my pocket and face time Ishmael.
“Looking fresh huh?” I said and he chuckled.
“Looking hot huh?” He mimicked me. I stuck out my tongue and he laughed.
Ishmael is a very handsome, he is about 6’0 fit tall, he have blue hazel eyes that I fell in love with.
“How are your parents?” He asked.
“They are good, goddammit I nearly could not recognize her.” I said and chuckled loudly.
Jane came back with my nightwear and dropped it on the bed.
“Can I get you anything else, madam?” She asked, I hate it when people interrupts me.
“Can’t you see? I’m on a f**king call! Get out.” I barked at her. A frightened look came on her face as she ran out of the room.
Looks like mom didn’t train this lower class people well.
“You’re being harsh on her, babe.” Ishmael said and I roll my eyes. I’m not being harsh, just simply showing them their places.
“Oh whatever, can we continue talking about us now?” I asked and he stared at me for a moment before nodding his head.
I keep talking with Ishmael all night, I slept at midnight very much exhausted.
I didn’t see my maid or my guard again throughout the night and I was so f**king grateful.
That I complements his handsomeness doesn’t mean a thing.
They are still low and dirty to me.
F*ck it, how did he even go to college and then became a guard?
I turned off the nightstand and closed my eyes then slept off.
NEXT MORNING
I woke up from sleep with Jane already cleaning my dressing table.
I sat down on my bed and rubbed my eyes.
“Good morning,your excellency.” She greeted,bowing her head.
“Why are you in my room, without my notice?” I asked, she stare at me and then smile a little.
“Madam,I…i….the first lady instructed to always get things done before breakfast time.” She replies. The nerve of bringing my mother inside this matter.
“You serve me now, and not my mother. Prepare a warm bath for me.” I told her.
She walk inside the bathroom and I sigh. Going for sightseeing today.
It has been so long I last visited America.
