Natasha’s Pov:
I followed Kayla behind as we walked into the house.
I headed towards the stairs avoiding eye contact with Kayla.
Kayla was fuming with anger as she kept walking up and down restlessly.
“Where do you think you are going Natasha?” She yelled
“Upstairs…” I said quietly
“Really?” She scoffed and rolled her eyes.
“Please Kayla I don’t want to talk about it” I said as I gulped nervously.
“No Tasha! You have a lot of explanations to do…. My gosh! You’re unbelievable” Kayla said
“Kayla it’s not what you think” I tried to explain.
“Oh no save it! So you’ve been dating our neighbor right?” She asked as my eyes widened in shock.
“Dating? Of course not! My car broke down and….” I said
“And you were cuddling and hugging each other?” She furrowed her brows
“We fell asleep” I said defensively.
“Why can’t you admit that you’re in love with Jay” Kayla fired.
“What? Listen Kayla am so tired and I need to rest… Excuse me!” I said as I picked up my handbag and rushed upstairs.
Kayla sighed loudly as she walked towards the kitchen.

I stormed into the room and banged the door.
I burst into tears as I sat heavily on the bed.
“Damn…. Why did I sleep off?” I cried as I scratched my head.
But do I really love Jay?
No freaking way!
I can never fall in love again after all I’ve been through.
But Jayden….. He’s so different.
I mean I’ve been so rude and grumpy to him but he kept showing me kindness.
And Kayla….
Oh God!
I hope she doesn’t misunderstand me.
I opened the curtains and looked out from the window.
Smiles escaped my lips as I saw Jayden hop out of his car.
He looked super sexy and handsome.
He’s got a good heart and most of all, he’s very caring.
Believe me when I say he is every woman’s dream.
But for me… Nah! I don’t want to make the same mistake I made.
I quietly laid on the bed and covered myself with a duvet.
Kayla’s Pov:
I roared in laughter as Jay and I high five.
“You need to see her face when I confronted her earlier” I smiled.
“That’s funny but you shouldn’t be hard on her” Jay said
“But Jayden you still surprise me…. I mean must it be her? There are many other beautiful girls out there single and ready to mingle” I said
“Kayla I don’t just want any other girl! It’s Natasha that I want” He said
“But you know you shouldn’t blame my friend, love life have not been favourable to her cos she keeps on getting hurt in the end” I said
” I know Kayla but I want to prove to Natasha that I really love and care for her” He said as I smiled broadly.
I hope your love for her is really genuine… I don’t want to take part in anything that will make Tasha go back to being heartbroken and emotionally unstabled” I said
“I assure you… I won’t hurt your friend” He said.
“She must be going bananas in thought” I chuckled
“Kayla I need your help.. Please help me talk to your friend cos I like her He said.
“Of course!” I said as we smiled happily.
We clinked our glasses together and sipped.
I just know Jay likes my friend a lot.
Jayden’s Pov:
I lay on the bed with my eyes fixed on the ceiling fan.
I kept smiling at nothing.
Thoughts of Natasha filled my mind.
I can’t seem to get her out of my head.
Though she’s a very naughty and annoying fellow, somehow she’s the best person to be with.
I was so absentminded that I didn’t notice when Marvin walked into the room.
“What’s up bro?” Marvin said but he got no reply.
“Jay? Jay? Jayden? Jayden!!” He screamed as I was startled.
“Ye…yes! Why were you screaming?” I asked as I scratched my hair.
“Isn’t it obvious? You were absentminded” Marvin said.
“It’s nothing!” I lied
“Nothing? Is it women matters?” Marvin nudged me.
I smiled.
“Nah…. It’s not!” I lied
“Of course you and I know that you are lying…..” Marvin said.
“Tch…. She’s driving me gaga” I said with a smile.
“Who’s she?” Marvin asked
“Natasha!” I replied
“What? The rude girl again?” Marvin snorted
“Please stop tagging her with that name rude” I said
“Whatever!” He rolled his eyes.
“I can’t wait to make her mine’ I managed to say.
“You’re silly man!” Marvin laughed
“But am serious!’ I said
“Wish you luck then!” He said as we shook hands.
Natasha’s Pov:
The usual morning routine again.
I took a warm shower and walked out of the bathroom with a towel tied round my chest.
My cell phone rang aloud and I picked it up.
it was Melissa.
“Gossip girl!” I smiled as I picked up the call.
📱Hello Lisa…..Good morning! I said
📱 Congratulations girl… Am so happy for you!…. She said happily.
I rolled my eyes in confusion.
📱For what?… I asked anxiously
💭 Did I get a promotion at work? 💭 I thought
📱What? You don’t know…. She asked
📱Know what?.. I asked.
📱You didn’t even tell me you’ve finally found him!… She said
📱Find who?… I asked lost in thought
📱Your Mr right!… she said and I freaked out.
📱What nonsense are you talking about? I said
📱Your trending pictures on social media wilth your over cute boyfriend…. She laughed
My eyes widened in shock.
📱BOYFRIEND?… I shocked as I hung up on her.
I have to check it out.
I quickly turned on my mobile data and the first newsflash I saw was my picture.
My jaw dropped in shock….
