“Your Mama is as well Involved.” The voice laughed mischievously. “I think five minutes is enough to execute my plans.”

August’s mouth dropped open, he quickly grabbed his bike keys. As he stood to run off.

“Hey what’s wrong?” Tommy stood as Well, his eyes were stored with curiosity.

“My mother…” August’s eyes formed some tears immediately. “My mother is in a hell right now. I need to save her.”

August rushed out of the bar like a man chased by death itself. The cold night wind slapped his face as he jumped onto his bike.

Tommy followed quickly.

“Wait! I’m coming with you!” Tommy shouted.

“No!” August snapped as he kicked the engine alive. The bike roared loudly. “Stay here!”

“Are you stupid?” Tommy yelled. “What if it’s a trap?”

August paused for a second. His breathing was heavy.

“It is a trap,” he said quietly. “But my mother is inside it.”

Before Tommy could reply, August sped away, the bike disappearing into the dark road.

Tommy cursed under his breath.

“That idiot…”

He grabbed his jacket and ran after him toward his own bike.

The roar of August’s bike echoed through the silent streets as he sped through the night.

His mind was spinning.

“My mother…”

His grip tightened on the handle.

“Nothing must happen to her,” he muttered.

His phone vibrated again. A message popped up with an address.

An abandoned warehouse.

August’s heart pounded violently.

“This better not be a joke,” he hissed.

Behind him, Tommy raced on another bike.

“August! Wait!” Tommy shouted through the wind.

But August didn’t slow down.

**

Pispa walked angrily through the long hallway of the mansion.

Her palm still tingled from the slap she gave Cher.

“Crazy woman,” she muttered.

Just then, she bumped into someone.

Her body hit a solid chest.

Strong hands grabbed her arms before she could fall.

Hazard.

His sharp eyes locked onto hers.

“Where are you rushing to?” he asked coldly.

Pispa rolled her eyes and tried to pull away.

“None of your business.”

Hazard noticed her trembling slightly.

His gaze darkened.

“Did someone upset you?” he asked.
Pispa scoffed.

“Oh please. Don’t start pretending to care now.”

Pispa pulled her hand away sharply.

“What does it look like? I’m walking.”

Hazard exhaled slowly, smoke still faint on his clothes.

“You caused a scene with my sister.”

“She started it,” Pispa shot back immediately.

Hazard stepped closer.

Too close.

Pispa could feel the dangerous calm in him.

“My family is not someone you should fight with.”

Pispa laughed sarcastically.

“Oh really?” she folded her arms. “Then maybe you should tell your sister not to call people sluts.”

Hazard’s jaw tightened.

For a moment the air between them felt like it might explode.

“You slapped her,” he said.

Pispa tilted her head.

“And?”

Hazard stared at her longer than necessary.

Then suddenly—

A small smirk appeared on his lips.

“You’re brave.”

Pispa frowned.

“Or stupid.”

Before she could reply, another voice interrupted.

A loud scream echoed from outside.
Both of them froze.

Nam’s voice.

Hazard rushed outside immediately.

Pispa followed behind.

Outside the mansion

Nam was on the ground crying loudly.
Cher stood beside him, pretending to panic.

“Oh my God! Nam! What happened?” she cried.

Nam pointed directly at Pispa.

“That woman pushed me!” he sobbed.

Pispa’s eyes widened.

“What?!”

Cher glared at her with fake shock.

“You pushed my son?”

“That’s a lie!” Pispa snapped.

Hazard’s eyes slowly turned toward Pispa.

His expression was unreadable.

“Did you touch him?” he asked quietly.

Pispa’s chest rose angrily.

“I didn’t do anything to that little devil!”

Nam cried louder.

“She hates me! She said she will kill me!”

Pispa’s fists clenched.

“You little—”

Before she could finish—

Hazard grabbed her wrist.

His grip was firm.

“Enough.”

His voice was dangerously calm.
Pispa stared at him in disbelief.

“You believe them?”

Hazard didn’t answer immediately.

But something strange happened.

He noticed something on Nam’s arm.
A scratch.

Fresh.

But…

Hazard frowned slightly.

Nam had been holding a small knife behind his back earlier.

A thought crossed his mind.

“Did he… do this himself?”

Hazard’s eyes slowly narrowed.

But he said nothing.

Instead he turned away.

“Everyone inside,” he ordered coldly.
Nam smiled secretly.

His plan worked.

Or so he thought.

But as Hazard walked away…

His eyes drifted briefly toward Pispa.

She stood there alone.

Angry.

Humiliated.

Yet…

She didn’t cry.

Hazard felt something strange in his chest.

Something unfamiliar.

“Why does she look so… strong?”

For the first time since Juliana…

Hazard found himself watching another woman.

And he didn’t understand why.

Meanwhile — The Warehouse
August burst through the warehouse doors.

“MOM!” he shouted.

Silence.

Then—

A slow clap echoed from the shadows.

“Brave boy.”

A man stepped forward.

August froze.

His eyes widened in shock.

“No… it can’t be…”

The man smiled darkly.

“Well, well, August.”

“It’s been a long time.”

TBC…
