Months later, Alex resumes his office, and he becomes cold towards everyone around him, the Secretary’s space is left vacant, and Alex refuses anyone to occupy the space. In his office, Aurora’s frame was hung on the wall, which is the first photo one will see when they enter his office. He was piling up some work on his desk with no expression on his face. Richard enter.
“Hey man”. he sat down and Alex raised his face to him.
” Hey”.
“Wow, is so good to have you back, so, how is it going?”.
” Fine, where are you coming from?”.
“Um, Nina and I went to Aurora’s grave to see her”. he said and Alex scoffed.” Why did you scoff?”.
“Are seriously asking me that, for goodness sake, you and Nina should stop going to that grave claiming to be Aurora’s. That body laid there is not my Aurora”. he said and Richard sighed.
” Alex–“.he got interrupted.
“Don’t Richard”. He said. ” By the way, how is Nina and the baby?”.
“They are fine and guess what?”.
” What?”.
“We went for the gender of the baby and it’s…..A girl”. he said happily.
” Wow, that’s good to hear, congratulations my friend”.
“Thank you, you wanna grab a drink later on to celebrate this?”.
” Nah, I will pass, I have a date”. He said and resumed his work. Richard stares confusedly at him.

Elizabeth was in her room after acquiring a house of her own and she became a full-time nurse in the hospital.
“It’s already been months, I think it’s time to make my moves on him, he had mourn her enough and I have waited for a long to get closer to him”. She smiled and gulped from her champagne.
••Richard’s mansion••
Nina moved in fully with Richard and they both agreed to have the baby first before their marriage. She was in the bedroom talking to Aurora’s photo.
” Yeah, believe me, it turns out to be a girl and you know what, I have decided to name her after you”. She said smiling and caressing the photo.”Is no fun without you here, I miss you so much Aurora, you are like a sister to me “. She sniffed and then she heard Richard’s voice.
” Babe! Where are you?”.Richard voices out from the living room “I got you some cookies “. he said.
” You are back?”. She moved to him and Richard caressed her in his arms and then they pulled away from each other.
“Where you crying?”. He asked seeing her teary eyes.
” Um, not really”.
“Hmm, where you talking to Aurora’s photo again?”.
” Yeah, is the only thing that keeps me company when you are not around, and since I stop going to work”. Nina said.
“Yeah, if that is what makes you happy, no problem”. he smiled and kissed her.
” How is Alex? I heard he is back in the office?”.
“Yeah, he is still the same with no cheerfulness, just hope things become normal again”. he said and they left to sit down at the dining as they started eating the cookies.” Do you know, he said something weird today”.
“What did he say?”.
” I told him we should go and celebrate the good news about the baby’s gender, guess what he said”.
“What”.
” He said he got a date”.
“Huh, that wired”.

Later in the day, Alex’s driver drove into an exclusive restaurant, he had already made a reservation and everything was ready. His driver opened the car for him, and he came down and went inside, the manager caught sight of him and he quickly rushed to usher him to the VIP section, the ladies in the restaurant were drooling over him, but he care less. He got to the VIP section to see the table decorated beautifully and a candlelight around. he sat down as the meal was rolled in and served on two plates. The workers were confused as to why two plates were served instead of one since he was the only one in the VIP section.
👤”Maybe he is expecting a guest”. 1st staff said.
🗣”Hope so, but he looks so handsome”. They blushed at him.
After serving him, they walk away.
“Alright wifey, let’s eat, you know this is the first place we went on a date and you love their meal, so, here we are again”. He smiled and started eating while throwing a conversation.
Staff observed him thinking he was crazy to be talking alone, they kept staring secretly at him. Three elegant ladies who came to have their dinner were staring lustfully at him.

They stood up to where Alex was.

Alex ignored them as he kept eating, the girls stood staring at him and waiting for his response, and just then Alex stood up to leave.
“Let’s go honey”. he said and walked away, the ladies stared surprisedly at him.

👩🦰”That was rude of him, no one has ever done that before”.
👩🦱”Even as that, his Aura is so hypnotizing”. She grins and they stare tiredly at her.

The next day, Elizabeth came to Alex’s office and Alex’s PA told her that Alex was having a meeting with some investors in the meeting room. She left for his office to wait for him and was surprised to see Aurora’s photo on the wall.
“Why did he hang her photo of her on the wall?”. She frowns.”well, it won’t be long to have him to me”. She smiles mischievously.
” Elizabeth?”.Alex called as he entered his office to see her.
“Hey, Alex”. She stood up quickly smiling at him.
” What are you doing here?”.He asked as he moved to sit down.
“Well, I came to see how you are doing, It has been a while”. She said and sat down.
” Yeah, well, am fine thank you”.
“That’s good to know, anyway are you free for lunch, we can–“. She got interrupted.
” Am sorry I can’t”.
“Why?”.
” I just had lunch”.
“OK, how about some other time?”.
” I don’t think so, either, I am not allowed to go out with another lady, is against my wife’s rules”.
“Huh? y-your wife?”. She asked confusedly.
” Yes, Aurora doesn’t like it, am sorry, if you will excuse me, I got work to do”. He said and started working on his computer. Elizabeth hesitates for a while and then walks away angrily.
“Why is he acting so difficult, I won’t rest Alex until I have you”.She said and walked away.

” Don’t you think we should invite Alex over for dinner, is been months”.She said.
“We still have to give him more time, you know he still recovering”. he said.
” Is a harmful dinner dad, I miss our family gathering”. She said.

Nora’s parents came to pay a visit to their child, and the doctor in charge of Nora’s treatment happened to call her parents over due to Nora’s constant chanting.
👨⚕️”She has been saying a lot of things and her health issues are not proving”.
“Please doctor, what can we do?”. Nora’s mother asked.
👨⚕️” I will suggest we take her out of this country to another country for proper treatment”.
“Why can’t she be treated here?”. Nora’s father asked.
👨⚕️”Because here still brings bad memory to her, if you want her to recover quickly, you have to fly her out”.They sighed and she continued. ” we have been trying for months and it’s not working”.
“Ok, Doctor, we will do as you have said”. He said.

Alex returned home after a hectic day, he left for the bathroom to freshen up. He sat in the tub as the water was dipping on his body with the thought of Aurora in his head.
” I miss you so much Aurora, where are you? You promised me you would never leave my side, why did you break that promise so quickly”. He sighed sadly.”I know you are not dead, as long as my heart still beats for you, I know you are alive somewhere, I will find you even if it takes years, please wait for me”. He sniffs.”I miss you…. I miss you”.
