But my death was only the beginning of my existence.

Skylar Vox. That’s my name.

I was the strongest fighter of Team Dread—one of the deadliest illegal fighting team in the country.

I didn’t become a fighter by choice. I was stolen from my home, trained and tossed into the ravenous darkness of the merciless Team.

And of course our Team Dread had a rival team called Team Enigma—the only team that can actually compete with us, mostly because of their most feared fighter who’s my enemy.

El Crow.

They called him El Crow, the lunatic enigma with a weird stitch scar on the side of his mouth. No one knew his real name, but they say he’s the only son of the Boss of his team.

El Crow was my only match, and we have fought so many times in the ring it’s become a livelihood for both of us. We’re obsessed with tearing each other’s flesh and giving each other the absolute taste of hell.

He loved seeing me bleed, and me? I loved how his cry of pain sounded.

We hate each other to the point of ticking psychopathy.

Our hatred drove us so insane we simply can’t breathe without seeing each other in agony.

Then it happened…

An accident we didn’t see coming.

A fatal road accident.

Coincidentally, we were both in the bus. The accident claimed our lives.

We died……Together.

And that was the beginning.
