The front door slipped opened automatically at 1PM, spitting three people out of the building.

Allison, and the two owners of the new event contract she got.

“We expect a well set event, Miss Allison. We’re keeping our minds off disappointment, and we hope we don’t have to worry about it later.”

Allison gave that statement a smile of surety. “Of course, I mean, I’m Allison Hart, a hustler who’d even crawl into a wormhole to get my clients wishes fulfilled. Don’t worry, your event is covered, efficiently.”

Without further ado, they hopped in their car and rocketed down the city.

Allison let out a small exhale, getting her phone from her purse as she strode to her car tiredly.

She has only one person in mind to call—Phina. She needs to know how far about her crocheting.

However, her phone was knocked out from her hand by a stranger. Before she could make any attempt to pick it up, the stranger went down, picked it up and handed it back to her.

“I’m so sorry, Miss.”

Allison’s brows went flat, seeing it’s not a stranger after all.

“Acosta Simpson? Or, should I say Acosta Redd?”

Acosta’s eyes warmed up with a little smile. “Miss Allison,”

“What would you be doing at this restaurant?” Allison gestured. “Meeting a business partner?”

“Nope,” Acosta denied. “As the project Manager of Redd Holdings, my job is to supervise constructions, I have no business with meeting business partners. But this restaurant is close to the giant hotel building we’re working on, so I came to get lunch.”

“Oh,” Allison curved her lips. “You don’t look like you’re faring well in the sociopathic Redd family though. I mean…it’s understandable why no one would fare well in such place. They belong in the madhouse, and you are just one unlucky man….”

“Miss Allison,” Acosta called firmly, drawing the line right there.

“A’ight,” Allison raised her hands. “But stay sane for the sake of your daughter.” She advised, going past him. She pulled open her car door.

“Seeing how untroubled you are, you’ve definitely not heard about what happened to your best friend.” Acosta’s voice echoed.

Allison tipped her head back.

“Whatchu saying?”

“Her crochets were sabotaged by the Redds,” Acosta said.

“What?!” Allison let go of her car door, shock leaving unintended squeeze lines around her eyes.

“Look, there was a press conference less than an hour ago, and they claimed she stole the designs from Dora’s catalog at—”

The rest of Acosta’s words were left to float in the air as Allison was already in her car, darting off.

She nearly ran into Acosta. Thankfully, he moved aside fast, and she flew into the road.

Acosta got in his car, relaxing wearily on his headrest with closed eyes.

He saw the press conference.

He saw how Peach talked diligently like she was saying the truth.

He saw how she was happy to be on that podium, excited to lie.

He saw her smile after she finished speaking, and the way she enjoyed the cameras flashing her face.

His daughter is rapidly becoming a part of her witchy wife family, and he doesn’t even have the power to stop them. His own life is in their hands too—including his family’s.

He dabbed his face with his two hands, realizing he’s crying when tears stained his palms.

“Geez,” he sniffled.

[Dean’s Estate]

On his way into the estate, Dean saw the ruins of Seraphina’s car and the few drops of blood on the tar—glaring signs of violence.

He knew what had happened.

Marley and Genevieve mentioned some people from Valhalla would come from Seraphina.

They probably came already.

And he was proved right when he entered the mansion to meet two thick men who look like descended from a snakes valley with their tattoos, body build, and dress-mode.

If he didn’t hear about them before, he’d be taken by shock, but he heard stories, so he entered fully, never taking his eyes away from the two.

They stood by his staircase, right and left respectively.

They aren’t glaring, they aren’t smiling. Their gazes are just there.

But there’s another thing;

The house is disarranged. They turned the house upside down. Right now, it could rival a caught corrupt firm undergoing investigation.

Everywhere is insanely scattered like they were searching for something, and he’s so sure upstairs would be just the same—if not worse.

“It’s not here. What you’re looking for, is not here.” Dean cleared them.

They didn’t move.

They didn’t talk.

“I said,” Dean’s jaws bladed. “It’s not here. Weren’t you searching for the land documents? It’s not here. She wouldn’t be daft enough to keep it in this house, and wherever she kept it, I have no idea. Quit the search.”

“Dean St. Graves?” One of the Serpents decided to talk—the one with the dyed white hair. “You knew the importance of that document to the Redd family. Yet, your slow-arse couldn’t keep an eye on it! Marley mentioned your interest in the club. You mean you’ll be with us with this shitty, undesirable brain?”

“Yes,” Dean glared. “I’ll be with y’all in the club, soon. But why don’t you change that last past? Shitty, undesirable brain?” He chuckled. “If it was that way, I wouldn’t own the most successful Investment Empire in this city. Watch your mouth.”

The second one with the grilled teeth took a step close to come for him.

Dean put his fingers in place, ready to snap it and call for his guards, but the dyed hair one pulled the second one back, stopping the move.

“Let’s bounce, man.” He said thickly like a rumble, leading the way out.

Grilled teeth followed him, but he didn’t stop throwing thorning stares at Dean till they got to the door.

“Don’t hurt her too much,” Dean muttered unexpectedly.

The Serpents head turned around at the same time, giving her the same parallel looks.

“Now that you said that, I’mma make sure I put my dick up her arse. Isn’t she your wife? You’ll be getting a f+kin overused girl back, and that’s if she comes out alive.” Grill teeth said meanly, and both finally left.

As the door closed tightly behind them, Dean put his arse on the couch, sitting restlessly.

It’s Seraphina, the girl he married because he was ordered to.

It’s Seraphina, the girl he shouldn’t even be the least attracted to.

The same girl who made him lose a huge investment deal on the land.

His Kelly is on the hospital bed, unconscious with a brutally wounded shoulder, shot by his brother.

He should be bothered about her, not telling these Valhalla dudes to take it easy on Seraphina.

Why did he even say that?

He cupped his mouth with his palm, mood swinging.

The door crashed open without a warning, letting a furious Allison inside the house.

Dean stood.

“You never learn your lesson, do you?” His eyes rolled.

“I don’t give a fû+k about the sabotaging. That can be sorted later, but I’ve been calling her line, and it’s been off. Also, on my way into this darn estate, I saw her Lexus. It has been crashed, completely. It looked like a Crash n Take scene! It looked like… like someone took her.”

“Why the hell are you even here?” Dean questioned, her presence scratching his nerves. “Do I look that simple to you? Her family did that shit to her, but you couldn’t go confront them cos of course you can’t. You damn know they’ll make you disappear off the earth crust,”

“But you came here? Forgetting what I can do too? Last time it was a gun head on your knee, and you look like you’ve healed, good. This time, it’ll be a gunshot to your brains if you do not get your arse out of my doorway.”

At the snap of his fingers, his guards materialized from all corners of the living room. Burly men surrounded him. Some of them lined in front of Allison, ready to throw her out.

Or shoot her out.

Allison doesn’t look shaken, but she’s obviously trying to keep it in. Her teeth struggled to stay on top of each other, biting every ill word she has in her mouth back to her throat.

“I didn’t come here to scream on you or get loud like the other time. I only wanna know where you took her.”

“Where I took her?” Dean’s face soured up. “You’re funny, Allison.”

“Her little car is ruined down your estate, meaning; whoever took her did it inside this estate. I know you know. Dean, she is your wife. This girl crushed on you for years, are you even human?” Allison sniffled, calm.

Dean sat back, staring down for a beat before riding his eyes back up.

“She was taken to a dark place, totally out of human knowledge. The only thing you should do is pray.”

“Out of human knowledge?” Allison’s mind left her. She felt cold.

[Redd Estate]

Celebration? It’s higher than that here. Everyone’s in a golden mood, carved from Seraphina’s doom.

Her works was successfully sabotaged. The public is against her once again. In fact, they detest her harder. Additionally, she has been captured by the Serpents of Valhalla.

What is there to not rejoice about?

They’re all gathered at the Penthouse, drinking and eating and partying.

Caviar filled glinting plates. Spiced chicken, french pasta and heavenly steak. Appetizers and desserts.

Then, wine bottles that cost a fortune.

They even have the party a theme—Fall of the Jinx.

So, they all wore customized shirts with the drawing of Seraphina falling from a tower on it.

It’s like they’ve been prepared before today. Dora prepared them.

Genevieve spiced it up by inviting people from her movie set. Marley invited Redd Holdings people too. Parties are frequent in this penthouse, but this is sweeter.

Unbridled smiles is on the faces of every Redd family member.

“Two days ago was supposed to be our wedding anniversary, but that jinx ruined it,” Genevieve stood with her raised glass, grinning. “Now it’s not too late. The anniversary will be marked today along with the fall of the jinx! Drink! Drop unconscious! There are enough rooms in the penthouse for drunk people!”

“Mrs. Redd!!!” The guests hailed her up, filling the penthouse with their insane echoes.

“And as a gift to Peach for getting justice for this family today,” Marley stood, dangling a car key.

A brand new Maybach!

“I don’t care if you’re just ten, grandbaby,” he continued. “But you’re getting your first car today, and your first bank account.”

He dropped the Maybach key and a bank card on the table.

“OMG!!” Peach screamed, standing. “Do I really have a car and a bank account already? Me?”

“You deserve it, grandbaby.” Genevieve smiled. “And you know what? Keep making us proud.”

“I love you so much Grandmum! I love you a lot, Granddad!” Peach jumped, hugging the both gladly.

She was indeed born for this family.

How prouder would they be when they get to know about what she did in school? She can’t wait for them to know about that shit.

“Mum!” She rushed over to Kimmy who’s just returning from the washroom. “Mum, look what I got!”

“A Maybach? A bank account?” Kimmy dropped her wine glass quickly, checking it out with greedy, materialistic big eyes.

“See?” She stroked Peach’s hair. “I told you. You can’t survive in here if you refuse to listen to me. Look at you, getting your first gift car at ten, and your bank account? I just know you got millions there. At your business school, don’t relax for anyone at all. You’re Peach Redd, and you’ll never forget that fact.”

“I know, Mama. And I love you.” Peach hugged her dearly.

“Mama loves more, baby.” Kimmy hugged her tightly.

“Ok! Ok!” Dora’s loud voice broke into the penthouse, surprising everyone as she entered with blindfolded male and female strippers.

All muscular. All full of body.

“It’s the day we fell the jinx, and it’s my parents anniversary too! So, I brought in some freakiness to heat up the shit! Give it up to strippers from Club Quit who’ll be making today a memorable shit!” Dora screamed.

Music hit the mood.

Genevieve and Marley changed into their matching red robes, sat on velvet chairs, and watched the strippers performance with wine glasses hanging between their fingers.

While the males gave their all in front of Genevieve, the females let it shake in front of Marley.

The fun was only just beginning.

[Savior’s Alive Church]

Loaner Boss decided to give up after too many flesh cuts from his skin.

Grimm was already so full, thankfully. His death was like a butchered animal’s, really.

Tobias ordered Jude to pack up the body in a box before he left him on the mountain, but getting down with bloody hands and all, he met Uncle Will right in front of his Rectory.

Uncle Will had asked of him from the Church workers, but he got nothing about his location.

So he waited, but now that he’s here, he’s got bloodstains in his hands?

And he’s in his vestments?

How? Why?

He went over the front steps to meet him at the base.

Tobias stopped, facing him with unmeasured cruelty.

“You should step aside, Uncle. I don’t like talking to people with blood on my hands, it makes me wanna kill the person too. As you can see, I’ve got a little stain on me,” he raised his hands. “I need a cleanup.”

“Where did you go!” Uncle Will demanded fiercely, sternly. “Who did you hurt? Who!!?”

“Hurt?” Tobias let a rumble of laugh knock on his chest. “Uncle, you’re… ruining my reputation right now. I don’t fight at all, I don’t get blood on my hands unnecessarily. I kill.”

Uncle Will looks like his wits left him instantly after those words rolled off Tobias’s vile tongue.

“You’re lying, right?” Uncle Will’s eyes dimmed. “You’re—

“Wait, wait, wait…” Tobias looked up. “The right questions should be how did i kill him? Did I enjoy it? Did he scream loud enough? Did he bleed enough blood for me to see?”

“Tobias!!” Uncle Will locked him by the stole of his vestments. “You pretended in seminary for five years? They said you were the quietest of all the seminarians! They said you knew bible verses the most! They said…they said you passed the most exams!”

“Shit, of course I was quiet cos they were all boring as f+k. I don’t talk to boring people. I knew the scriptures cos….” He pointed at his head. “They were easy to cram. I passed the stupid exams cos they were too easy I could write them with my eyes closed.”

“You…..” Uncle Will’s teeth clenched. It showed in the way his jaws hugged so tight his face threatened to break. “You’re…. you’re still….”

“Let me go, Uncle. I don’t wanna stain you with blood. I know you don’t like the smell.” Tobias muttered.

“Why are you doing this, Tobias? Your parents would be crying up there…” Uncle Will snorted.

“They shouldn’t have left this world then,” Tobias stated, gaze sinister.

“Tobias…” Uncle Will let go slowly.

Tobias didn’t look back.

He entered his Rectory smoothly.

The door closed slickly after him.

[Unknown Cabin]

Saint felt strong restraints on himself immediately his consciousness creeped back to him.

It was all dark at first, then cracks of light fell in behind his lids.

The restraints bound his wrists to his back.

Ankles together.

One is on his neck like a noose too.

He calmed to gather his full consciousness, then moved slightly on top of where he lay.

He’s on top of a prickly stuff like sawdust, and when he had a difficult look at it by bending his neck, he was right. It’s indeed sawdust.

“Damnit, Bexley. You could at least place me on a stone. I hate this discomfort. You didn’t have to be so mean.” He groaned.

Flashlights from two different phones hit his eyes, nearly destroying his iris and cornea.

He snapped his eyes shut and groaned again.

“You’re meaner than I anticipated. I like it.”

When he opened his eyes again, he was looking at Bexley eye-to-eye.

She prowled over him like an animal on her palms and knees.

“Damn, I like this sexy as hell position. I always knew you’d be a nasty little f+k.” He laughed.

“First,” Bexley spoke, meaner than blaze. “I ain’t little, but I admit to being a f+k, cos I’m about to f+k you up in the most fucked up way possible, Saint St. Graves.”

“Nasty Little F+k.” Saint repeated, spelling each word boldly.

Bexley took brass knuckles from her friend who’s standing behind her.

She wore it, and landed a fierce punch to Saint’s nose.

The nose made a crunchy sound like it already broke, but Saint laughed so hard till his neck veins stretched.

Even as his nose bled. He laughed.

“Do that again, Nasty Little F+k. I like when you get aggressive, baby.”

Sensing he’s enjoying this, Bexley stood from her prowl and moved away, bringing the array of gangster guys behind him to light.

Saint recognized them immediately.

Rednecks.

F+kin Rednecks.

His biker rivals.

They stood like fortresses, resting on the walls, giving him looks like he’s a can of sewage.

“Bexley, You brought Rednecks to my face?” Saint tilted up a little.

Bexley pressed her shoe to his chest, returning his back to sawdust.

In the process, he kissed her shoe tip. “Mm, I smell your perfume. Wonder if Dora Redd smells as good.”

“F+k you!” Bexley cussed.

“Deadass, he’s sick.” One of the Rednecks lifted himself from the wall, eyes glinting with malice.

“Are we here to race? I see no other reason for your collaboration with spineless Rednecks. Kick rocks, y’all.” Saint grunted with closed eyes.

“No,” Bexley slanted her poise. “They’re here to f+k you up your arse, bastard. They’re going to shove their dick in you, and you’re going to feel what it’s like to get violated!”

“You said?” Saint strained frowned.

“Your brother is behind the disappearance of ten of us including our top leader!” The Rednecks snapped suddenly.

“Including your leader?” Saint chuckled. “No wonder I’m not seeing his annoying face here. And which of my brothers? Dean is too cooperate to carry out that shit, so….” His eyes shone with immediate fascination. “Is it Toby? Toby made ten of y’all disappear? Please, say yes! Tell me it’s really him and I’ll know those ten are already in the ground, rotting somewhere!” He laughed again.

“You’re getting fucked, Saint.” They made it clear again.

“Touch me, có+kheads, and you’ll lose more than ten members!”

“We’ll see about that,” Bexley smiled at him, then she left with her friend.

Now, Saint is at the mercy of the Rednecks alone.

“Call his brothers.” One of them suggested.

—

[Valhalla Club]

Seraphina knew darkness existed at large in the world.

She saw different levels of it at the Redd Estate and even more with the dark Priest, but she didn’t expect herself to be stuck in the base of darkness today. The crook of it.

When she found herself in a cold gilded cage in the middle of nowhere, she knew she got trapped for real.

She knew she was gonna die.

Even if she’s gonna escape this place, it’s going to be through hell.

This place doesn’t look like it’s on the surface of the earth at all.

No noise. No other person.

It’s too cold and dark she could barely see her one palms.

She has been parading the cage for more than an hour now.

No time to check it, but she could feel it.

Her work and reputation at home has been sabotaged. She has nothing left except the huge piece of land in her hands. She kept the documents somewhere she’s sure would be unreachable, so even if her ex-family searches for it, they won’t get shit.

But is she really gonna die here?

The gate door opened with a scary creak which made her jump a bit.

A man stepped into the cage.

He’s one of the men who came to take her—the grilled teeth.

She recognized him at a glance.

His harsh self didn’t wait before yanking her by the hair.

She was dragged out of the cage like a lifeless, weightless doll.

He didn’t wait for her to walk with her feet, so she was on her knees as he dragged her.

Through a corridor that’s even darker than the cage she was taken from. In the dark, she could feel her scalp threatening to pull off her scalp with how hard he pulled.

She could feel the skull itself heating with pains underneath her brain. Her body met the wall a number of times, and her legs stumbled on things she couldn’t see along the way.

By the time she was dragged to the end of the corridor, she could see forms and things as some dim lights were starting to come on.

But her sight was blurring again as her lenses has long left her eyes.

Can someone get her glasses or something? Cos by the time she was dragged to a bright place, she lost her sight completely.

Just blurriness.

She was thrown down on smooth cold tiles which made her slid to a chair.

The chair felt like a throne when she touched it. She could feel someone sitting on top of it, too.

She mistakenly held the legs, shivering and scared.

“Wh…why am I here?…why did you….take…me….

“It’s true, you’re a stammerer, Seraphina Redd.” A voice what felt like knife cut in unexpectedly.

She moved back instinctively, fear creeping deeper. But not enough to not make her continue.

“I asked why I am here? Why did you take me? Why….I did nothing wrong!” She said with less stammer.

“You want this fast? I’ll make it fast. Where are the land documents you hold to your name?” The knife-smooth voice crooned, sounding like weapon in her ears.

“I knew it!” Seraphina gasped. “I knew this was my ex-family ploy! It’s all them! I bought the land with the money I brought to the sales event! Not their money! Why should I let go of the documents? I have it hidden in a place you can never find! Have fun looking for it!” Her chest bloated.

“You bought the land with the money you brought to the sales event?” The person in front of her grunted, sounding smart. “Meaning, you didn’t buy it yourself. Where did the money come from? Who’s helping you?”

“I am under no obligation to tell you shit, motherfucker!” Seraphina snarled with cold breaths.

And the breaths turned colder when someone slammed a fist into her stomach from behind.

That person is definitely the grilled teeth who brought her out.

The punch sent her rolling down the tiles till she reached the end and slammed her head on the wall.

She was hoisted up again—with her hair.

“Leave me alone!!!” She yelled, kicking fruitlessly in the unknown universe.

“To my laps,” the knife-smooth voice said.

Grilled teeth dropped her on the laps of the person.

It was now she knew whoever this person was, he’s the Leader here.

Immediately she landed on his laps, she wants to get down, but her two breasts were already in his palms before she could move.

“Get it off!!” She screamed, fighting. Arms and head and elbows. She threw them around. “Get off my body!!!! Get off my body!!! Don’t…. don’t….don’t touch….”

He tore off the front part of her dress, fluidly and effortlessly.

Then, he took the naked bre+sts and squeezed them.

Hard like he was gonna burst them.

“Agghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!” Her scream was boundless, pained with no depth.

“Where is the land documents, and who’s helping you?” Leader asked.

—

[Savior’s Alive Church]

Tobias got the workers prayers done very fast. It was roughly ten minutes, then he sent them all back.

He might have satisfied his mood by killing Loaner Boss, but this mood of his still stayed muddy.

Muddy like someone still needs straightening here.

He was walking out of the Church with Jude behind him when he received a call from a strange line.

He swiped pick fast.

“We’ve got Saint with us, Priest. Your brother is gonna get fucked up the arse, then he’s gonna be killed.” The voice of a Redneck spilled. “Bring our ten missing members, and you can avoid that catastrophe.”

Tobias hung up instantly.

He dialled Dean with dangerous calmness.

“You have thirty minutes. Thirty damn minutes, Dean. Thirty minutes, to get Saint out of the stinky faces hands. Else, I’mma add you laying down with Kelly. Difference is that she’ll remain in bed, but you’ll enter our surname forever.”

He didn’t even allow Dean to reply.

He hung up sharp.

As if the world is testing his patience, he received a text.

From his cult.

• They got her.

It was short, but he understood fast.

“These motherfuckers know I have enough burial grounds for bodies and more damn bodies. Why the fû+k do they keep trying me? They be wanting me to lick their blood off their hearts and eat their flesh!”

“Father?” Jude said behind him.

“Go get me my girlfriend, and meet me up at the park.” Tobias faced him with a side of his pitiless face.

Jude didn’t ask questions.

He left for the Rectory, got the metal box, and stepped away.

Minutes after he stepped away, Nun Ruth appeared at the threshold.

She entered easily.

Estelle is still unconscious under her room at the convent.

She’s just gonna take her time to spread herself n+kedly in bed for him till he’s gonna come back.

—

[Tino’s Place]

Tino got greatly concerned about Saint’s whereabouts so much he decided to go to his house.

It’s 6pm. Race is upcoming, and that freak never jokes with their race. He should be here to get him by now so they’ll race to the asphalt together.

But he’s not here, and he’s not picking his damn calls.

He threw on his leather jacket and was wearing his protective gloves as he walked to the door.

He opened up, only to be met with two faces he didn’t except.

Father Tobias, and Brother Jude.

Tino blinked. “How may I hel—”

“J,” Tobias called casually.

Jude stepped in, punching Tino in the nose. The poor boy crashed and fell at Tobias feet unconscious.

Tobias picked out his phone and dialled a classified line.

The line rang for a heartbeat before it connected.

“Hello, this is Valhalla. We exist to satisfy your dark desires. How maw we help you?” An automated voice spoke straight.

“You might wanna get your Leader on the damn line,” Tobias looked at Tino on the ground. “I have his only son whom he hid somewhere in this city. He really thought he’d have a secret son and hide him in my city without my knowledge? When are y’all fuckers gonna stop playing at my face when you know damn well it’s a play straight to the graveyard!”

He didn’t have to wait at all after that.

“Do. Not. Touch. Tino.” Valhalla Club Leader’s voice touched the line.

“Get my temple out of your house and deliver her to the Mandate Seaside. You have thirty minutes, and listen motherfucker; for each extra minute you use, your son loses a toe. I’ll give him bloody leprosy, singlehandedly.”

Tobias hung up.

No chance of negotiation.

He never gives that chance.

On his table, he’s both the player and the chess. He plays himself, and he has never even won against himself.

Ever.

—

[Mandate Seaside – 7PM]

The sound of water crashing against the pier created a playlist of dark music to Tobias ears, coupled with the loud, terrified cries coming from Tino’s mouth.

The drive from Tino’s place to this place was roughly twenty minutes, and they’ve spent nine minutes here.

If Seraphina is not here by one more minute, Tino loses a toe.

Tobias sat calmly on a chair close to the sea. His legs are inside the sea, and his long coat fell beside him, getting soaked by the water too as he waited.

Jude stood somewhere behind, and Tino? He’s on the ground.

On the sand.

He’s not tied, but he dare not move.

He could only cry when he saw the kinda fucked up scene he’s in.

“Please don’t hurt me!”

“I didn’t do anything to you!”

“Please don’t….”

When the remaining one minute rolled in and an extra minute rolled in on top of it, Tobias unboxed Mayhem.

Knife is overrated.

He loaded Mayhem with small bullets and aimed for the smallest toe of Tino’s right leg.

Tino’s heart split, but his body shook vehemently when the bullet hit that toe, blowing it off.

“Please!!!!! Please!!!!!! I did nothing!!!!! I did nothing!!!!! My…..gawd….I did nothing!!!!!!”

Behind, Jude wondered why Tino is so soft. Isn’t he the son of a very dangerous club?

Unless he doesn’t know who his father is.

That must be it.

The second extra minute was already preparing to roll in, and Tobias finger was still ruthlessly steady under the trigger, ready to blow off the second toe, dangerous calm settling over his bold features.

But luckily for Tino, a limousine kissed the seashore, leaving deep trails on the shore sand with how hard it drove in.

All the doors of the limousine flipped open.

Seraphina was taken out of the backdoor by Serpents.

Except her p+nty, the only other thing covering her n+kedness is the long towel wrapped around her body.

She was taken fast to Tobias side.

He returned Mayhem to it’s box and received her firmly.

He didn’t ask her questions at first. He felt the way her body was shaking against his palms.

He felt the way fear had settled so deep in her bones.

He felt her every shiver,

Every tremor,

Every tremble.

He unwrapped the top part of the towel from her chest to check her out. Merely seeing her red bre+sts, he got the full idea of what happened to her over there at Valhalla.

“Say it,” he demanded, gritty.

“It… it was their Leader…” Seraphina started slowly, eyes refusing to blink. “He squeezed them so hard. He touched them, bad. I…I was made to sit on his laps, he—”

“Enough.” He cut in, mouth tight.

She sucked it up.

He wrapped the towel back on her and also removed his coat, giving her additional cover with that.

By now, the Serpents already took Tino, already heading to the limousine with him.

Tobias pushed Seraphina behind himself. He picked Mayhem back up, opening angry fire on the Serpents.

Three of them got hit on their heads before the others could re-strategize and cover Tino well.

Then, they split, shooting back at Tobias and returning the fire.

The seaside became a drum of gunshots slamming hard and beating violently by split ot gunshots and cries of take-down.

Jude knew it was time to move and cover Tobias too, but he couldn’t even move before he saw wonders.

On the water, a female is riding a surfboard ferociously, water slicing with her presence, foams partying on the dark sea and beyond.

She wore black suit, and a hat.

She wore heels, too.

On a surfboard? At night?

Jude was stunned.

But then, another one appeared on a parachute.

It’s a male this time. He’s got stretchy scars on his face like tree roots.

He wore suit and a hat, too.

He hasn’t even landed on the parachute when he opened fire from the sky, too.

The female on the water didn’t wait to get off the surfboard before releasing her own fire.

With gold-colour guns.

Then, more of them began appearing.

Some on bikes.

Some in cars.

Some on a ship in the water.

Some on horses.

And they all wore suits—black undershirt and all. Hats. Heels and dress-shoes. It’s like an organized sort of shit around the sea.

It didn’t take long.

Their shootings overshadowed the shots coming from the Serpents of Valhalla. They killed off entry single Serpent standing.

Every f+kin body.

Bodies scattered around.

Tino was left unconscious beside the limousine.

Then, the people in suits began gathering, clustering.

The female on the surfboard and the male on the parachute landed last.

Now, their count is even.

They’re twenty.

But,

Plus Tobias himself, they’re twenty-one.

An odd number.

They circled him, removed their hats and revealing faces Seraphina hadn’t seen before.

Especially the parachute guy and surfboard lady.

Behind, Jude was wide-mouthed.

Seraphina held Tobias shirt tightly behind him, freaked out.

But then, their heads went down in synchronized bow.

They bowed.

“Hats off, to the First Man of Odium.” The surfboard girl thundered.

“To Wrath!” The rest chorused.

Light died from Tobias’s blue eyes.

Darkness set in.

TBC.
