As she stopped beside him, Antonio’s instincts took over, and he grabbed her waist, whispering huskily in her ear, “Only I am allowed to stare at you this way. No other man is permitted to.” The possessiveness in his voice was unmistakable.

Antonio’s eyes widened as he realized what he had just said to Maya. He quickly released her hand, his face flushing with a mix of emotions.

“Get into the car,” he muttered, already turning away from her.

Maya stood there, her mind racing with questions.

“Why did he say that? Is he claiming possession over me now?” She felt a shiver run down her spine as she hurried to enter the car.

As soon as she was in, Antonio started the engine and drove off.

MOMENT LATER*

The car screeched to a halt in front of Draco Villa, and Antonio emerged, walking around to the other side to open the door for Maya.

He offered his hand, and Maya placed hers in it, allowing him to assist her out of the car.

As they stepped onto the villa’s grounds, whispers and murmurs erupted from the gathered crowd.

🗣️I’m jealous of the girl!

🗣️They’re like a match made in heaven!

Maya rolled her eyes at the comments, her thoughts screaming, “If only they knew who he truly was, they wouldn’t be pairing us together like this. We’re complete opposites, like ice and fire.”

They approached the security guard, Antonio’s smirk grew wider, and he nodded at Max.

The security guard halted them, requesting the invitation card. Antonio produced it, and the guard examined it before smiling and granting them entry.

“Enjoy your party,” the guard said, as Antonio and Maya entered the grand ballroom.

Maya’s eyes widened in awe, taking in the opulent decorations and sparkling chandeliers. The room was alive with the hum of conversation, the clinking of glasses, and the soft music playing in the background.

Antonio scanned the room, his gaze locking onto Don Draco, who was engaged in conversation with a distinguished guest.

As soon as their eyes met, Draco excused himself and approached Antonio, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.

“It’s good to see the Almighty Devil in my villa,” Draco said, his voice dripping with charm. Antonio smiled coolly, his eyes never leaving Draco’s face.

“As soon as I received your invitation, I knew I had to be here.”

Draco’s gaze shifted to Maya, his eyes lingering on her with interest.

“And who is this lovely companion standing beside you?” he asked, his voice low and smooth. Antonio’s reply was swift and possessive.

“She’s my date for tonight.”

Draco’s eyes never left Maya’s face as he took her hand, his lips brushing against her skin in a gentle kiss.

Maya’s instincts screamed at her to pull away, but she forced herself to remain still, her smile polite but distant.

“Please, come with me,” Draco said, leading them to their seats. As they sat down, he tapped on his earbuds and spoke into them, his voice low and urgent.

“The target is finally here. Don’t let him get into the underground, understood?”

Draco’s eyes locked onto Antonio’s, his smile widening.

“Let’s enjoy the night, shall we?”

KITCHEN*

Spider and Minnie were in charge of the cooking arena, dressed like cooks.

They finished serving the drinks and Spider brought out an injection and started injecting it into the drinks, shaking the glass as she applied the substance.

“Good, done here,” Spider mumbled, and Minnie wanted to taste it.

“Hey, do you wanna die?” Spider asked.

“I’m really thirsty,” Minnie said.

“Well, you can’t have this, I’ve applied the substance,” Spider said.

Just then, the server came and picked up the drinks, and they took them out of the kitchen. Minnie and Spider shook hands, knowing what was going to happen next.

They had to find the underground and inform Antonio. They quickly changed out of their cook clothes, revealing their stylish outfits underneath.

They were dressed to impress, like “bitches for real.”

The door suddenly creaked open, and Draco’s men came in.

“Serve the guests the meat…” they were saying, but stopped when they saw the duo.

“Who are you guys? You’re not one of us,” one of them said.

Spider swiftly grabbed a gun from one of the men and shot two of them dead, while Minnie dispatched the third with a punch and kick.

“Good job, Spider,” Minnie said, as they quickly disposed the bodies before the others noticed.

BACK IN THE HALL*

The servers, Speedy and Crispy, were already serving the juice.

Spider’s added substance would start taking effect in ten minutes, giving Antonio a narrow window to steal the Kohinoor from the underground.

Draco’s invitation seemed suicidal, considering his knowledge of Antonio’s reputation as a mafia thief boss and his desire to steal the Kohinoor.

He looked at Maya, who was sitting beside him, laughing at a foolish joke Draco made.

Draco faced Antonio, a curious glint in his eye.

“So, who is she to you? Is she just your date for tonight or something more? “

“She doesn’t mean anything to me, I can’t possibly have anything to do with her. She’s nothing, a nobody.” Antonio’s response was dismissive.

Maya wasn’t shocked by his response, she knew she was insignificant to him.

Draco smiled, hinting at a hidden meaning.

“I wondered if the Devil I knew was immune to his Adam’s ribs. Rumors suggested as much.”

“I don’t care about rumors.” Antonio scoffed.

Maya looked at him, her thoughts racing. Was that why he wasn’t lured the day she tried to seduce him? Is he impotent? Or is he simply blind to her charms?

Crispy approached their table and served them the juice. Draco took his glass and handed it to Maya, his hand deliberately touching her skin

Antonio didn’t miss the subtle gesture, noticing Maya’s discomfort as she took the glass from Draco. Antonio’s instincts urged him to act, his anger flaring at the intimate touch.

He wanted to grab Draco’s hand and cut it off, leaving him fingerless. But he restrained himself, prioritizing his patience. Draco took a sip of his drink, smirking.

“So refreshing,” he muttered, his eyes gleaming with a sinister intent.

RESTROOM*

Pussycat chewed her bubble gum as she walked to the restroom.

She tapped her earbuds, and Vinegar’s voice came through

“Okay, it’s time to begin our next plan.” Vinegar faced Hotdogg, who nodded in understanding.

Hotdog connected his earbuds to the rest of the members.

“Max, Rocco, Speedy, and Spider, it’s time to take down the rest of Draco’s men. Drake, you need to be on standby,” Hotdog instructed.

The members nodded and took their positions.

“The drinks Spider and Minnie added will start taking effect now,” Vinegar murmured.

Pussycat smirked, having just finished changing.

She chewed her gum and walked out of the restroom, ready to join the action.

OUTSIDE THE VILLA*

Three men stood outside, guarding one of the villa’s walls. Suddenly, a silent sniper shot hit one of them.

The other two didn’t notice until he dropped dead, blood oozing from his forehead.

“Who did this? We need to be on alert,” they muttered, drawing their guns and scanning their surroundings, but saw no one.

“Aarghhh…” the second man cried out as a bullet hit his chest. He fell dead, and the last man quickly pulled out his phone to alert his teammates.

But before he could make the call, he too dropped dead, shot in the skull.

Rocco, standing on the balcony, smirked as the last man fell. He tucked away his sniper rifle and moved to the next balcony.

This was how the team continued to take out Draco’s men silently, without alerting any of the others.

Skylar entered the guest room, her eyes scanning the space filled with Draco’s men.

She drew her bow and arrow, firing silently, taking down the men one by one. Her expertise with the bow was unmatched, and she moved with precision.

She fired her next arrow, her gaze caught the mirror’s reflection, revealing a man behind her, gun pointed at her back.

“Drop your bow,” he commanded, his voice firm.

Skylar’s eyes widened, but she didn’t hesitate, dropping her bow.

“Get on your knees,” the man ordered, approaching her slowly. Skylar complied, her mind racing.

As the man took his final step closer, Skylar seized the moment. She swiftly slid her hand behind her back, retrieving an arrow, and threw it at the man.

The arrow struck his abdomen, exiting through his back, and he collapsed, blood flowing like a river. He fell dead, and Skylar smirked, retrieving her bow.

She walked out of the room.

HALL*

The juice started taking its effect, and the people dropped dead one by one.

Draco’s eyes widened when he saw what was going on, he looked at Antonio, who gave him a dark, deadly glare.

He tapped his earbud, but it wasn’t connecting, his eyes widened again.

He wanted to speak, but he also dropped dead. The effect was deadly.

It could even kill them if care is not taken, that’s if only Spider added more than she should have added.

Antonio tore off his disguise, revealing his gangster outfit. He removed Maya’s gown, revealing her black hoodie and cargo shorts.

He took her hand and tapped his earbuds.

“Okay, I’m ready. Lead the way to the underground,” Antonio’s voice came through.

Vinegar guided them through the earbuds, leading them to a red door. Antonio entered the code, FT5-20$, and the door opened, revealing an elevator. They stepped in, and the elevator descended to the underground.

The door to the underground opened, and Maya’s eyes widened. The place was sparkling white with diamonds, it looked like heaven.

Antonio’s gaze wasn’t so fixed on the interior, but what sparked his eyes was on the Kohinoor.

“Don, you need to insert the pass code to reveal the Kohinoor. I can’t seem to guess what the pass code is,” Vinegar said.

And Antonio heaved a sigh.

Vinegar’s eyes widened when she noticed something in the system. Cops. Her eyes widened.

“Boss, the cops are outside the villa,” Vinegar told him, and Antonio’s eyes widened.

“Who informed the cops about our mission?” he asked.

“I don’t know, boss. You need to punch the pass code and get out of there immediately,” Vinegar said.

And Antonio kept punching pass codes that came to his head, but none of them were correct. It kept showing red signals.

“Don, we believe you can do this,” Hotdogg muttered this time.

Pass code? What could be the pass code to unlock this vault? It could only be one thing. But what could that thing be?

Antonio kept ruffling his hair as he thought.

Maya just stared at him, not knowing what to do. She was just waiting for someone.

Antonio closed his eyes as he kept thinking about different things that could unlock it.
