Grayson barged inside Emily’s office and walked up to her, he looked up and saw him.

“Oh, hi Grayson.” Emily said, and Grayson scoffed.

“Bring Maya back, I can’t take it anymore.” he said.

“What?” he asked.

“You heard me right, I can’t tolerate this anymore. She’s away from me, and in the devil clan, it’s choking me.” Grayson said.

“Do you realize who you’re talking to?” Emily asked.

“Of course I know,I’m talking to the commissioner.” Grayson muttered.

“Good, and do you realize that you don’t tell me what to do.” Emily questioned, and he released a scoff.

“Everyone isn’t even happy with this mission,July didn’t agree, and I’m also backing out. Maya is in danger in that clan.” Grayson yelled.

“Did she tell you that she’s not comfortable there? She volunteered herself no one forced her.” Emily fired back.

“Of course she’s not comfortable, I know she kissed the devil, that’s what Maya would not dare do. Please bring her back.” Grayson said.

“I wouldn’t do that.” Emily said, and faced what he was doing.

“Do you know the feeling when the person you love kissed another person? Do you know the feeling when you kissed the person you hate, your enemy? Of course, you wouldn’t know.” Grayson said.

“What do you mean by that?” Emily asked.

“You can’t understand, all you see is this foolish mission of yours. You want the devil’s head,why don’t you go yourself? Why don’t you go on this mission yourself.” Grayson asked, and before Emily could talk, he walked out from there.

Emily released his tie as he grabbed the pen he was holding very tight, choking it as if he was choking a human.

NEXT MORNING*

Maya woke up with a terrible headache.. She tried to sit up but was too weak.

“Aargh.” she yelped, staring at the ceiling as she tried to reflect on what had happened the previous night.

“Wait a minute.. How did I get back here?” she asked no one in particular.

Her hands ran through her hair as she remembered what she had said to Antonio.

She remembered it all at once.

“What the fuck.” she screamed before she knew it.

“Did he bring me here? Shit!!” she mumbled.

“I kissed him, I kissed my enemy, and why didn’t he stop it?” She asked as the words she said to him ran through her head.

“Did I say he was mine? Gawd Maya.” she said, standing up from the bed and walking to the bathroom.

It was a taboo, kissing her enemy.. It still felt like his lip was on hers.

She took her toothpaste and toothbrush before brushing her lips.. She was scrubbing them so hard that blood began coming out from her lips.

“Aargh.” She screamed when she swallowed the liquid substances in her mouth.

How was she going to face him? Should she confront him? But what was she to say when she was the one who kissed him?

“Goddimit.” She muttered and used water to rinse her mouth before walking out of her room.

She bumped into someone and looked up to see who she had bumped into.

It was Vinegar, and Vinegar smiled when she saw her.

“Are you going somewhere?” Vinegar asked.

“Yeah.” Maya replied.

“Where?” she asked.

“I uhmm.. I just.” Maya trailed off when her stomach made an annoying sound.

“Oh, I see you’re hungry.” Vinegar chuckled.

“No, I’m not.” Maya said.

“Then why is your stomach making that annoying sound?” She asked.

“I guess I really am hungry.” Maya said.

“Then let’s go to the kitchen.” Vinegar said, and Maya followed her.

They got to the kitchen, and the delicious smell of the food hit Maya’s face.

“What would you like to eat?” Vinegar asked.

“Hope Antonio won’t talk.” Maya asked.

“Nah.” Vinegar muttered and went to bring a sandwich.

She handed it to Maya, and Maya took it from her, munching on it.

“Thanks.” Maya said as she kept munching on the sandwich.

“I can only accept your thanks if you agree to be my friend.” Vinegar asked.

“What?” Maya stopped munching on her food.

“Why do you look shocked, like I said something wrong?” Vinegar asked.

“Of course, I’d like to be your friend.” Maya quickly said.

Vinegar smiled. “Friends then.” She said.

Vinegar handed her a glass of orange juice, which she took and sipped from it.

Max was sitting alone, his mind went to Cat, and he groaned.

Suddenly, he felt soft hands around him, and he immediately looked up to see Pussycat smiling at him.

“What do you think you’re doing?” He threw her hand off and moved back.

“Isn’t it obvious?” She asked, and Max raised his brow.

“I liked you the most here.” Scarlett smiled.

“I see,you’re going crazy finally.” Max muttered and tried getting up.

Pussycat immediately pushed him back.

“Let me go.” Max said.

“I just said I like you.” She shouted.

“And I have a girlfriend.” He shouted back at her.

“So? That doesn’t change the fact that I liked you.” She yelled.

“You know how Speedy is, just let me go.” Max said, and she released him.

He stood up and walked out.

“Why don’t I get rid of Speedy so that I can have you all to myself.” She thought.

Spider wore a bikini as she strode to the pool, she loves swimming to clear off her mind.

Because what Jerry had been doing to her the past few days was really annoying, and she had to clear off her mind.

“Let’s try this.” She winked and dived herself into the pool.

The warm water of the pool made her body feel relaxed.

“Hmmm.” She moaned.

Jerry was holding a bottle of Moretti in his hand, and his second hand held a smoke.

He walked to the pool and saw Spider there.

“You’re here.” She asked, surprised.

“I didn’t know you’re here.” Jerry muttered.

“Zero worries, just join me.” Spider asked.

“No.” He said and took a sip from his drink.

“Please.” She said, and he groaned.

A idea suddenly popped into her head, and before Jerry could blink, she splashed him with water.

“Please.” She muttered again.

“Fine.” He mumbled and took off his shirt, his muscles popped out, and she gulped down nothing.

He dived into the water, and some of the water splashed on her body.

She swam towards him and held his hand.

“I don’t know what is happening to you this past few days, but I need my best friend back… the cheerful one back.” Spider said.

“I’m still the same person.” Jerry said.

“Nah, your expression says it all… You’ve been sad this past few days, are you heartbroken?” She asked.

“Yeah.” He said and pulled her into a hug.

“I don’t know why she hates me so much… I just don’t understand why she doesn’t want to talk to me.” Jerry said.

Spider frowned, knowing who he was talking about, who else if not Vinegar?

She didn’t know what to say to calm him down… She doesn’t know whether she should encourage him or press him down.

She hugged him back, her hand stroking his hair.

“Let’s do something,let’s swim..the first person to get back here wins.” Spider said, breaking the hug.

“You know I’m not an expert in swimming.” Jerry said.

“Let’s try, I’m doing this to cool your brain off.” She mumbled.

HELL FIRE MOB*

Bluey walked to the torture room to see Scent tied to a pole, marks could be seen all over his body, and blood was what designed his face.

Who else would do this if not Hellfire?

The day Antonio and Maya escaped, Hellfire killed the people who followed him and chose to keep him alive, not without giving him the worst torture,for the past two days now.

The first day, he used a hot metallic iron to design his face, he pressed it on his face, and the scars could clearly be seen.

He took the seventh whip and lashed it heavily against his skin.

No food, no water for the past two days… He was in pain… His mouth was dry… He was weak.

Death is even better than this torture… And for the past two days now, Scent has been pleading for death, but it looks like death wasn’t ready to listen to him.

Bluey walked to him, and he looked up, she suddenly gave him water, and he sipped it, like if he doesn’t drink it now, he’s going to die.

She then shoved bread inside his mouth, which he munched on,his strength suddenly came back to him.

“Why are you helping me?” he asked.

“Because you’re nice, and I just felt like helping you.” She answered.

“Thank you, Bluey.” He whispered, and she smiled.

“I would get going now, before Hellfire notices that I came here.” Bluey said, and he nodded.

She ran up and locked the door back before walking out from there.

Scent smiled dryly.

8PM, LION HELL CLAN*

Everywhere was already dark, and the gang members were preparing to retire to bed.

Maya came out from the bathroom with just her bathrobe, she walked to her wardrobe and put on her singlet, then a bum short.

She was about to go to sleep when she heard a knock.

She groaned, then went to open the door.

“Yes?” she asked the guard, Rocco.

“The Don sent for you.” Rocco said, and Maya scoffed inwardly.

Throughout today, she had tried her best to avoid Antonio… Just when she thought she’d try better, now this.

“Hey, are you there?” Rocco asked when he saw that Maya wasn’t listening to him.

“Yes, I’m… I’ll be there in a minute.” Maya said.

“Don’t keep the Don waiting.” Rocco muttered and left.

Maya ruffled her hair and went to wear her slippers before heading outside.

On her way, she saw Skylar and walked up to her 

“Hey.” She said to Skylar, but Skylar ignored her and meant to walk away.

“I thought you said it was only one glass of drink I was going to take, but you ended up giving me more than that.” Maya said, and Skylar faced her.

“So?” Skylar asked.

“So? Is that what you can say… Do you know what your actions have cost? I ended up kissing Antonio.” Maya fired.

“You did what.” Skylar said with disbelief.

“You heard right.” Maya said.

“And you think I’m going to believe that cheap lie?” She asked.

“I didn’t ask you to believe it… All I know is that if you hadn’t gotten me drunk, I wouldn’t have kissed him.” She said and walked out.

Skylar frowned. She thinks I’m going to fall for that silly random lie? Huh? But what if it’s true. Skylar thought.

She got in front of Antonio’s suite and halted, breathing in and out before twisting the door knob and entering.

She saw Antonio sitting on top of the windowsill, smoking as usual.

“You sent for me.” Maya said.

“You’re five minutes late.” Antonio interrupted her.

“I…”

“You have two punishments,one is for kissing me, and one is for keeping me waiting.” Antonio muttered cockily.

He got down and walked towards her, every step he took made Maya’s heart skip a beat.

“You kissed me yesterday.” Antonio said.

“That was because I was drunk… I…”
