Charles was kept and tortured for days until he agreed to the deal, He was free on the condition that he would bring Aurora to them.
The flashback ends, after explaining everything to Grandma and he skips the deal part.
“What? You were kidnapped?”. She asked surprisedly.
” Yes granny, am happy to be alive today “.
” Oh my, Aurora was worried sick about you”.
“I know, but where is she?”.
” She got a new job”. She said and started to explain everything to him, Charles was surprised.
“Really? Her boss was the one who paid your surgery bills?”.
” Yes, all thanks to him”.
“But where is she working? Did she tell you?”.
” No, you can call her”.
“Yeah, I misplaced my phone and lost all contact, I will be getting a new phone soon”.
” Ok, I will inform her of what happened to you, maybe she will come and see you in your place of work”.
“OK granny, please do, I really need to see her “.
” Sure, no problem”.
“I will be on my way now “. He stood up and left.

~~Alexander office~~
Alexander was seated comfortably in his exclusive and magnificent office pilling up some work, and then his mind suddenly reflected on Aurora, he stopped working and rested his chin on his hand.
ALEXANDER POV
I wondered what she was doing all alone in the house, I picked up my phone and decided to call her, but her line was busy, I called again, same thing happened.
” What the hell! Why is her phone busy?”. I grunt and dial the number again.
NARRATOR POV
Meanwhile, Aurora was on the phone with her grandmother, She was seated on her bed talking on the phone.
“Yes grandma, I am fine”. She said smiling.
” So, how is your new job?”. She asked from the other side of the phone and Aurora signed.
“Great, how is your health?”
“Fine, Erica is taking good care of me”.
” That’s a relief”.
“Yeah, so, you don’t need to worry about anything”.
” Ok granny, I’m glad to hear that”.
“Sure, thank your boss for me, he is such a good man”. She continues to praise him and Aurora rolls out her eyes.” Aurora, are you there?”.
“Yes, Granny”.
” Ok, don’t forget to thank him and one more thing, Charles came over to the house yesterday”. She said.
“What?Really?”. She asked curiously.
” Yes, he told me the reason for his disappearance, you should go to his place of work and go see him, he will explain everything to you”.
“Okay Granny, I will do that”.
” Good, take care of yourself”.
“You too Granny”. She hung up and let out a sigh
Suddenly, the door went open revealing Alexander’s angry look, Aurora was shocked by his presence.
” What happened to your phone?”. he asked rudely and Aurora looked at him confusedly.
“What are you talking about?”.
” I called your phone severally and it was on busy all through, what were you doing?”.
“I was on the phone”.
” With who? Your silly boy of a boyfriend?”. He moved to her and tried dragging the phone from her, but Aurora refused.
“Let go!”. She yelled and pushed him off.” What is wrong with you?”.
“Who the hell were you on the phone with?”. He asked angrily.
” That’s none of your business, it’s my privacy, you have no right at all”. She retorts.
“I have every right because I owe you!”.
“Damn you! I know I have to pay for my debt, but that doesn’t give you the right to mess with my privacy”.
” You were talking with that good-for-nothing guy of yours”.
“Still none of your business, Whoever I was talking with, so, beat it!”. She yelled and tried to leave, Alexander grabbed her hand and pinned her against the wall, and she struggled to get loose from his grip.
” This is my house, you have no right to yell at me”.He frowns at her.
“Let go of me!”.
She continued to struggle hard with him, Alexander suddenly got lost in her eyes and he became tempted to kiss her, suddenly, Aurora pushed him off with all her strength.
” Don’t you ever touch me again!”. She yelled and rushed out of the room to the corner of the house sobbing silently.
Meanwhile, Alexander sighed tiredly and stood for a while before he walked away.

Charles was attending to his clients when he heard two ladies gossiping about someone.
👱♀️”Yeah, my mom said the handsome guy paid everyone the debt that the lady owed them at that moment”.
👩🦰” Really? Who is the guy?”.
👱♀️” I don’t know, but my mom said he was handsome as a god, his presence alone can make you fall in love with him”.
👩🦰”Hmm, I guess he must be very rich, or maybe the girl had coitus with him for him to pay all her debt”.
👱♀️”You are damn right, I also heard he also paid for her grandmother’s surgery”.
“Who are you girls talking about?”. Charles asked cutting in through their conversation, they stared awkwardly at him.
👱♀️” We are talking about a girl that was owing my mom debt, she owed everyone in the neighborhood debt until a kind rich man came and paid off her debt including her grandmother’s hospital bills”.
“Really?”. Charles asked confusedly
👩🦰” Yeah, I guess she had to sleep with him for her debt to be paid”.
They continued talking and Charles became angry as he clenched his fist.
“If what they are saying is true Aurora, I will never forgive you for this”. He said to himself and continued with his work.
••ALEXANDER’S MANSION••
Aurora was preparing a meal in the kitchen at the same time lost in thought.
” What are you doing?”.Alexander interrupted her from the entrance of the kitchen and she was jolted out of her thoughts.
“Um, cooking”.
” Really? You have been stirring that food for over thirty minutes”.
“Oh, um”. she sputtered.
” Don’t ever space out why cooking, because if any food got burnt in the house, you will face the consequences”. He warned and turned to leave.”Get my food ready in five minutes”. He said and left for his room.
“Gosh, I can’t stand him anymore”. She said angrily and continued with the food.
Some minutes later, she dished the food on the table and then left to call him down from his room, she knocked several, but there was no response, so she decided to open the door and notice Alexander was not in his room, she wondered where he could be, she turned to leave when she got interrupted.
” What are you doing in my room?”. Alexander asked
All this while Aurora was knocking on his door, he was having his bath, and he came out with his towel tied around his waist and water dripping from his body.
“Um”. She sputtered nervously as she turned around to see him half-naked, she gasped and quickly turned her back on him.” Am sorry, I didn’t mean to come in, I will just take my leave”. She tried to open the door but Alexander stopped her and she froze on the spot.
“How dare you come into my room without my permission”. He said angrily and walked up to her standing a little distance away from her.
Aurora could feel his body closer to her, she knew she was in trouble, she shut her eyes praying silently to get out of the danger zone.
” Please, I didn’t mean to come in, I knock severally and you weren’t answering “. She tried explaining.
” And you step in”.
“Am sorry, I won’t do it again”. She apologizes.
” Sure, you won’t “. He smirked and grabbed her shoulder turning her to face him and then he pinned her against the wall.
Aurora refused to open her eyes as the closeness was too much for her to bear and was sending shivering to her body, her heart was pounding fast.
“Please don’t do this”. She prayed silently.
Alexander pulls closer to her and the water in his body drips on Aurora, he lowers his mouth to her ear.
” The next time this happens, you won’t be spared”. He pulled away from her.”Now leave”. He said and Aurora rushed out quickly.
After a while, he came to the dining table, his meal was already set on the table and Aurora was standing facing him as he began eating.

The next morning, Charles came to the house where Aurora was working, he got the information from Erica when he went to Aurora’s house and he had to confront Erica and she had to tell him who Alexander was and where to find Aurora.
“So, it’s true, this is where you are”. He clenched his fist and moved to the gate but he stopped by the security man.
👨✈️ ” Who are you?”.
“Am here to see Aurora, please tell her someone is here to see her”.
👨✈️ “What is your name?”
“Charles”.
👨✈️” Ok, be right back”.
He walked away while Charles stood at the gate waiting impatiently.
