The sounds of Laughter filled the gala party held in one of Ibadan prestigious building and among this people having a swell time, is the owner and of Zico juice company , Chief Adejumo.

Chief Adejumo is a well known business man and a man of excellent taste, despite his age, he’s yet to be married, but it’s not that he cannot find a suitable companion, He just isn’t ready for commitment and so he decides to use his bachelor status to be best of his advantage and have fun with numerous ladies.

But like all men, He finally sees a ravishing beauty that he can’t take his eyes of and this ravishing beauty is someone none other than one of the members of the Diabolic five, Bellona.

 

After setting his eyes on her, The Chief tries desperately to seduce her so that he could get between her $€xy legs but little did he realize, his hour of doom is near.

Adejumo ➡ My God Bellona… You’re attractive.. What can I do to please you, huh? Tell me, what do you want? Anything you want I’ll give it to you.

.

Bellona ➡ (giggles) Oh Chief. You’re a romantic devil.. It’s nice that you’re too generous.. But I already have everything.

.

Adejumo ➡ Please my love.. Don’t deny me of your company.. I’ll do anything for you.. Just name it.. I’m so crazy about you.

.

Bellona ➡ Okay.. I’ll give you what you want but first.. Go get me a cup of that delicious champagne 🍾.

Adejumo ➡ Your wish is my command.

Adejumo collects Bellona’s glass of wine and walks away in a hurry to fetch the wine,… Meanwhile, the two other members of the Diabolic five sit at a distance watching Bellona pin the chief around.

Amon ➡ Just look at the mermaid wh-re.. She loves using her beauty to manipulate people.

.

Dagon ➡ I don’t know why she invited us here… I’m barely controlling myself looking at all these meat walking around.

Amon ➡ Control yourself Dagon.. There must be a reason why we’re here…

.

Dagon ➡ I hope so… Hmm!

Amon ➡ What?

Dagon ➡ You’ve not been yourself lately.. Did something happen?

Amon ➡ Would you believe me if I told you that I’m in love.

Dagon ➡ In love!? Are you serious?

Amon ➡ Yes.. I’ve spent millions of years in this miserable world but never have I seen a beautiful witch like this one.

Dagon ➡ Oh.. She’s a witch like us.. Tell me about her.

Amon ➡ Well, I didn’t have the chance to know her better, she was a feisty one.. But I noticed she had no magic aura.

Dagon ➡ Are you sure she’s a witch!? Maybe she’s a human.

Amon ➡ No.. She’s a witch.. Her strength is beyond than that of any human,… The b-tch gave a punch so hard, I felt it for a while… I must find her.. I want her.

Dagon ➡ Well, That will have to wait.. Because we have something else to attend to….. Here comes Bellona.

Bellona ➡ Hello gentlemen.. Why are you so glum?

.

Dagon ➡ What’s going on Bellona? What are you planning?

.

Bellona ➡ Relax wizard! My puppet chief owns a beverage company.. This is an opportunity to plant my little pets inside the drinks.. Just imagine an entire population dying all at once.

.

Amon ➡ Its a good plan but still we need to gather our strength and find The DEVIL’S GEM 💎.

.

Both Bellona and Dagon stare at Amon as He says that, they later on look at each other for a while.

Dagon ➡ Amon… Why are you still talking about that??

.

Bellona ➡ Yes.. Besides.. We have a good thing going.. We don’t need that gem to kill every last human.. We can do it ourselves.

.

Amon ➡ Just listen to yourselves.. I’m disappointed in all of you… Do you really think we can achieve our goal with the Witches interfering in our affairs?

.

Bellona ➡ That’s why we should lay low and gather our strength.. Once we get powerful enough then we can strike.

.

Amon ➡ Listen to me mermaid! Look around you.. This isn’t the world we’re used to.. It has changed and evolved, The Humans have dominated this world, Even if we get our strength back, we cannot fight all the witches at once… Besides I’m sure every super natural being is looking for us… We can’t hide for ever… It’s better if we use the DEVILS EYE.

Dagon ➡ How can we find it? It’s been millions of years since we were trapped in hell, who knows where the gem might be?

.

Amon ➡ The answer is obvious… It’s in the sacred Vault back in the witches realm.

.

Dagon ➡ How can you be so sure??

.

Amon ➡ Do you really think the Supreme witch will let something that powerful to be laying around?.. Every powerful artifact is in that vault.

.

Bellona ➡ I hope you’re not thinking of breaking into the Vault?

.

 

Amon ➡ Oh but we will, In due time.. But right now let’s wrap it up and leave.

.

Bellona ➡ Just give me a second to finish with the Chief.

.

In that moment, The Chief approaches Bellona and her accomplices with two glasses of wine, He kneels down on one knee and gives her one glass of wine, Bellona collects it and smiles at him. Feeling hate and disgust, Dagon frowns as he sees Bellona flirting with the chief.

Dagon ➡ Will you wrap it up and let’s go?

.

Adejumo ➡ Who do you think you are? Mind your business fool!. Where were we my dear, Bellona?

.

In a blink of an eye, Dagon grabs the Chief’s throat and raises him off his feet, The Chief struggles trying to break free but he can’t…Dagon who smiles defiantly at the Chief’s feeble attempt to break free snaps his neck, killing him instantly.

People who noticed what was going on, began to panic and run for their lives but before they could escape,.. Amon releases some kind of dark mist from his hands and in a matter of seconds, The mist surrounds the room and in a blink of an eye, Everyone in the room collapses and die except for Amon and his accomplices.

Bellona ➡ You fool! Why do you always ruin my plan? Now how am I going to get hold of his company now?

.

Dagon ➡ It’s simple… Illusion. It always works.

.

Bellona ➡ How will Illusion help me get control of this man’s company?

.

Dagon ➡ I have something for you..

.

In that moment, Dagon brings out a bracelet from his pocket and gives it to Bellona, She collects the bracelet and puts it on her hand,as soon as she does that, she begins to look at herself.

.

Bellona ➡ Is that it? I haven’t seen any change… What does this bracelet do?

.

Dagon ➡ Its an illusion bracelet. It allows the wearer to appear the way he wants people to see him.

.

Bellona ➡ Meaning?

.

Amon ➡ What he’s trying to say is, In your eyes, you still look the same but in the eyes of others… You’re Chief Adejumo… Ehen now, you’re Adejumo in our eyes..

.

Bellona ➡ Seriously?? This is great! So nobody can know the difference huh?

.

Dagon ➡ Have you ever seen anyone see or escape my illusions?

.

Bellona ➡ Hah! Finally.. I can’t wait to poison these people… They won’t know any better.. Ha, ha, ha,! I can’t wait to hear their cry of agony.

..

Amon ➡ If you’re done laughing… Can we go now? The moon is full tonight.. I’d like to feast and fill the hunger in my stomach.

Death is inevitable and every living soul must die, whether they like it or not, that’s the law of nature and the hard truth of life. It’s better if people die of natural causes like sickness or old age but Death gets scary if people die brutally and mysteriously.

Just when I thought I had seen enough death in the last two decades, This present death toll is worst than the two I’ve witnessed.

Recently in the week, There have been reports of people dying mysteriously, some die with their bodies shrunken up, while some brutally..

One lady that was recently interviewed, claimed to have seen a lady with fangs and claws eating two policemen alive, The lady was even admitted to a psychiatric hospital cause she lost control of her senses and attempted to commit suicide right there and then, all this happened after the interview.

Most people here in Ibadan might think this is a curse or an epidemic of some kind but for me, I’ve seen my own fair share of the supernatural and I know what’s happening.

This sudden uprising had struck fear and panic in the hearts of every citizen of Ibadan, even the Law enforcement agency were afraid and too scared to make a move cause they had no clue what was the reason behind this sudden deaths , even if they knew, they can’t do anything.

The least they could do was put curfews and avoid late night movements, Even the stubborn ones hid in their houses, The only ones I’d say they weren’t afraid where the Witches and other super natural beings that blended with the crowd, despite this precautions, A lot of people still died.

It was a sad period in Ibadan cause people had lost their loved ones and among those people was my Brother, Lionel.

 

Some days after the mysterious death of his wife and son, A funeral was held. Christen and I attended the burial for Lionel’s wife and son and I have to say, it was a tragic day for him, Never in my life, have I seen him so sad and torn apart emotionally. After they were buried, I was called upon to give a farewell speech, I wasn’t sure of what to say but then i went out anyways and faced the crowd looking at all the sad faces. I took a long deep breath and decided to let my heart do the talking.

Riley ➡ Everything in life has it’s opposite and one can never function without the other one.. If there’s light.. There’s darkness.. If there’s good, there’s evil and Also if there’s life, there’s also death.

Every living thing has a beginning and also an end, that is why life is so precious and valuable, and that is also why death is inevitable, no matter how long we live, death will come for us eventually and all that will matter is the deeds we’ve done.

Today is a sad day for all of us, cause there’s a death in the family and we all feel the heavy burden of our loss, but still this is the hard truth of life, and that’s the way God wills it.. He gives and he takes life, whenever he chooses and all we can do for them is pray and hope that they make it to the other side successfully.

It’s hard to bear the pain but we have to endure and keep their memories alive and pray, that’s the least we can do for them.

May God almighty bless their souls and may Paradise be their resting place. Amen.

Everyone loved my speech especially the family of my sister in law, they thanked me so much for the speech and then departed. After the burial, we all went to my parents house to commence the funeral ceremony, I stayed close to Christen and my daughter who were feeling a bit uncomfortable with the noise in the house.. So in order to prevent any drama from reoccurring, The three of us stayed in the car while the funeral was going on.

Christen ➡ Poor Lionel… I feel sorry for him.

.

Riley ➡ Yeah… It’s a shame his family had to die this way. I can’t imagine the pain he’s going through.

Christen ➡ Your speech was great by the way..

.

Riley ➡ Thanks… So I was thinking, once this is all over, why don’t we go out together to a special place as a family.. Just the three of us.

Christen ➡ Hmm, that would be nice…

.

Riley ➡ Yes.. We’ll go some place nice and cozy… In fact let’s have a second honey moon.

.

Christen ➡ (giggles) Oh Honey.. You’re too much.. Okay.. Let’s go on another one.

.

Riley ➡ I love you honey.. Too bad, we won’t stay together for long.

.

Christen ➡ What is that supposed to mean?

.

Riley ➡ Well.. I’m saying is.. I’ll probably grow old and die earlier before you.. I’m almost clocking 50 and you’re barely aging at all.

.

Christen ➡ Are you really that heartless? So you think you’ll just die and leave me alone and I’m supposed to feel good about you.. You disgust me.. You can forget about the second honeymoon.

.

Riley ➡ Look, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to upset you. I’m just saying we don’t know tomorrow and with the way things are going around Ibadan, death is highly expected…

.

Christen ➡ Why did you even bring up this conversation? I know for a fact you’ll grow old and die someday, and it’s a painful fact that I must accept but I don’t need to be reminded of that.. I don’t want to be a widow at a young age, I’m having the best moment of my life with you and I don’t want it to end so soon.

.

Riley ➡ I’m sorry honey.. I’m sorry.

.

I felt like a fool in that moment for saying those words and now Christen’s is upset. It’s a shame human lives don’t last that long but I can’t change that, after all, I’m human.

In that moment, Lionel came out of the house walking in a hurry, his face was very unpleasant and his manner was strange. I tried to call him but he ignored me and continued walking away.

Riley ➡ Jesus.. Lionel is loosing his head.

.

Christen ➡ You have to follow him.

.

Riley ➡ Why? He may look disturbed but he’s fine.

.

Christen ➡ No.. He’s not.. I know that look in his eyes and I’ve seen it before… Have you forgotten the story I told you about how my mother died and what happened to rose after that?

.

 

How could I ever forget that story? The Reason why Rose became a murdering psychopath is because of their mother’s death and now that Lionel has lost his family, he’s barely in his senses and might do something crazy.

So I quickly got out of the car and ran after him, He was walking really fast and I had to hurry to catch up with him.

.

Riley ➡ Lio! Stop! I said stop!

.

Lionel ➡ Wetin you want eh? Can’t you leave me alone to mourn my family in peace!

.

Riley ➡ Where are you going?

.

Lionel ➡ It’s none of your concern!

.

Riley ➡ Brother, you need to come home, don’t go and do something crazy!

.

Lionel ➡ What are you talking about?? Do you think I’m going to kill someone?.. I’ve already accepted how things are and all I want right now is to be alone.. Those people back inside the house are just a nuisance. Just let me be.. I want to be alone.

.

Lionel walked away after that but this time slowly.. I felt sorry for him, not everyone can best this loss.. After a while, I turned around to go back to Christen but before I could take a step, I saw an old lady trying to cross the road, but then suddenly a car headed towards her direction in speed, the car itself was acting in a strange way as if there was no driver in it , Instinctively I quickly approached the old woman and pushed her out of harms way, The car missed me by an inch and then crashed and tumbled continuously.

Riley ➡ Jesus… Are you alright?

.

Old lady ➡ Yes.. Thank you, my son..

.

Riley ➡ Stay here, let me go check if the driver is okay.

.

I left the old lady and approached the car as fast as I could, the car was totally wrecked and fire was beginning to spark little by little, I bent down and checked to see if the driver was alive but to my surprise, I saw nothing but a shrunken male corpse.

I was baffled and afraid wondering what had happened to the driver, This wasn’t something new to me because I’ve seen corpses like this before, This was definitely a witch’s work but who would do something like this?

In that moment, I moved away from the car so that it wouldn’t explode in my face, I went back to the place I left the old lady but as I got there, she was nowhere to be found.. The street was straight and wildly open, Even if she had left I would have seen her from a distance but surprisingly enough, she wasn’t here or anywhere else! So without wasting any time, I walked back straight home.

There are many things that are of high value, Things such as money, gold, personal properties but Nothing is more valuable than family because Unlike money that can all be replace, family can never be replaced.

Ever since, I watched both my wife and son buried deep into the ground, I felt so hopeless and empty, everything around me seemed worthless, there was no joy in me at all, my wish in that moment was to die as well.

I know everything that happens in this Life is God’s doing cause it’s meant to be but it’s hard to just get by it and move on.. , I loved my wife and son dearly, I missed the life we had, I was happy back then but now everything I cherished and loved have been taken away from me and I’m just supposed to move on… I don’t think I can do that.

Back at the funeral, when I saw my brother’s wife and daughter, I felt jealous of him, and began to ask myself why I was chosen to suffer this terrible loss, why me of all people?.

My Parents did their best to console especially my mom who told me that in every misfortune, a blessing follows later on.. I really didn’t take what she said seriously, I was just too depressed and sad to bother about anything else.

So I decided to leave the house so that I could be alone,… I had no idea where I was going, I kept walking and walking absentmindedly.

Hours later, I finally decided to stop at bar to drown my sorrows by getting drunk 🍺 till I could not longer take anymore beer.

I sat down like a heap staring at people that went in and out of the bar, People stared at me especially the Bartender cause I looked messed up.

Just when I was about to finish my fifth bottle, then I was approached by two ladies and I have to say they both look foxy.

Foxy lady 1 ➡ Hello stranger…

.

Foxy lady 2 ➡ You look tired and stressed.. Is something bothering you?

.

Lionel ➡ Huh?

.

Foxy lady 1 ➡ Don’t worry.. Come with us.. We’ll give you a good time… (snickering)

.

To be honest, I really didn’t listen to what they were saying, all I felt was their hands on shoulders and chest.

.

Lionel ➡ Look ladies.. Please.. Leave me alone, I’m really not in the mood for this.. Okay.. I just want to be alone.

.

Foxy lady 1 ➡ Come on.. Don’t be such a bore.. Come with us.

.

Lionel ➡ Ladies please leave me alone!

.

In that moment, A lady appeared right next to us ordering a bottle of Chelsea, She then turned around and glared at the two ladies viciously and in an instant, the ladies quickly left without turning back, I took another look at the lady and her face looked somewhat familiar.

.

Lionel ➡ Good evening! Thanks for coming to my rescue.. Those ladies were a nuisance.

.

The Lady ignored me sipping her beer 🍺, She later turned and faced me with a frightful smile on her face.

.

Rose ➡ You’re Lionel, yes? Little boy has grown up I see.

.

Lionel ➡ Excuse me.. Have we met before? You look familiar.

.

Rose ➡ Perhaps.. My name is Rose.

.

Lionel ➡ Rose.. What a lovely name..

.

Rose ➡ It seems that you’ve lost someone dear… Let me guess, your wife and child?

.

Lionel ➡ How did you know?

.

Rose ➡ It’s obvious.. You look like you’re about to give up on life.

.

Lionel ➡ (sighs) I just miss them..and I didn’t even get say goodbye.

.

Rose ➡ Sorry for your loss.. But that’s life for you… You just have to move on.. Everything happens for a reason.

.

Lionel➡ You think so?

.

Rose ➡ I know so.

.

I stared at her for a moment and for the first time since my family died, I felt some kind of solace.. Then suddenly, Rose’s earring fell from her ear, and I bent down to pick it up, I mistakenly pricked my finger on the sharp pin of her earring.

Lionel ➡ Ouch!

.

Rose ➡ Is something wrong?

.

Lionel ➡ No.. I just pricked my finger.. But I’m okay.. Here’s your earring.

.

Rose suddenly grabbed my hand and s–+-d the blood on my injured finger, I felt some kind of tingling and aroused feeling as she s-+-d my finger. Suddenly , she stopped and smiled at me, licking her red lips.

Rose ➡ Sorry.. I hope you’re not freaked out?

.

Lionel ➡ No.. I’m just surprised.

.

Rose ➡ Good… Why don’t we go somewhere private and get more acquainted.. This place is kind of noisy.

.

Lionel ➡ Okay.. Where do you want us to go?

.

Rose ➡ I know a place.. It’s the perfect place just for the two of us.. (snickers)

.

After that, I agreed to follow her, It’s just that there was something about her that feels familiar, so after I paid the bar tender, we both left the place.
