I awakened the devil.

He isn’t the grotesque figure with two horns, red tail and crooked nose.

The devil is Leonardo Esposito, the crazy Underboss of “The Outfit” 

The Outfit is otherwise known as the Chicago mafia, a organized crime family with no desire for redemption. 

A family of criminals.

They originated from Italy,, bound by one family surname—Esposito, a name that sends cold shivers down the spines of the government.

Their criminal records are wild, but they still dominate with iron fists.

Their signature: Awful, Deadly Tortures.

Operations are loud, rules are sacred. Break one, you die, and your dead body would still be haunted till your soul shatters.

Their clan is called House Of Esposito, a bulletproof gate residence somewhere in the middle of Chicago.

I’m Ivanna Cooper, my parents are construction site workers at Armando Constructions.

They work hard to put food on the table for I and my two siblings.

Last month, a tragedy occured at the construction site. A building collapsed with so many workers inside—my parents included.

They landed in a life-and-death condition, and huge money is needed to save them.

At the same time, I and my siblings heard about the hidden slush fund in the House Of Esposito.

And we……

It’s exactly what you think.

Yes. We made plans to go steal from the devil’s mouth as it’s the only way we could save our dying parents.

It’s stupid, but we weren’t thinking. 

I drew a plan with my older brother Robert, and my younger sister Ginny.

We got blueprint through tight means, and the day we choose to enter the clan, a wedding was ongoing inside which was supposed to be our cover till we were done.

But…we were only able to enter the clan successfully.

The moment we set foot in the House Of Esposito, our lives outside ended.

We were trapped.

Little did we know, that we had just walked into the lion’s den.
