“Why are you here?” He faintly asked. “How did you know my apartment?” 

“I am calling a doctor seon. You are sick and you Need treatment” she replied not minding his questions.

“I don’t need any doctor Miss Sullivan. It’s just fever. I have already taken my medications” he replied sitting upright on his bed.

“Let me help seon. Let me call in the doctor. You need him. You are burning up for chrissake. And you’ve been down for the past three days. You can’t just shove this out like a mere fever” she frowned at him.

“I am fine okay. I’ll get better soon and resume work in no time. I’m sorry I didn’t tell the management about my predicament and I…

“That is no problem” Louisa cut in.

“….I know I’ll resume with in this week. Anytime I get better I’ll report back to work” he replied ignoring Louisa’s comment as he got up from the bed.

“Why are you here? I never told anyone I was sick” 

“I uhn…I just huh… I just came to check on you. You have been absent for days now” she stuttered. Biting her lower lip in a timid way.

“Check on me? Does it look like a need a babysitter?” He asked nonchalantly walking away from her.

 

Louisa felt a sting on her chest. Is he still upset with her?

“No…! You sound like you are upset with me” she stated the obvious.

Seon turned to her” I’m not mad at you. I can’t be mad at my Boss” he replied and turned his back.

“You aren’t upset with me, yet your words tells everything ” she blurted out.

“My actions shows nothing Miss Sullivan. It’s just the way you interpret it. You wanted space, away from me. That’s what I’m doing.

I feel like a bone in your throat. I don’t wanna choke you.

If Love’s a Crime, then I am hundred percent guilty. It hurts like hell to see the way you behave towards me. You detest me, you shout at me, you don’t appreciate my efforts, you tend to push me away at any slight opportunity. For the love of Pete Louisa I’ve got feelings. 

What’ have I done? 

Falling for you was never my plan. It just happened so fast. 

Despite the fact that I hate it when you avoid me, shout and me and worse… push me away, I still don’t want to see you get angry,upset or sad.

I’m gonna try my best to keep you at arm’s length. If that’ll make you feel better and Happy. 

Its worth the try. I’m ready to give up anything for your happiness. 

Even though it’s gonna be hard, I’ll surely get over it. I’ll just……..”

He finally turned his gaze to Louisa with sobered eyes and continued.

“I’ll just go away…..I’ll disappear out of your life. Since that will make you feel better.” 

“No…no no you don’t have to do that!” Louisa rushed out. She’s touched by his words. She knows she has been bossy really lately. But letting seon go? 

Why does it sound like a bad idea? It doesn’t go well with her. She wasn’t herself these past three days for not seeing Seon. Imagine if he finally disappears for good.

“I am sorry if I ever hurt you, pushed you away, you don’t have to go…the company needs you seon…..” She pleaded.

She doubted within. She needs him too. Not just the company.

“The company? ” He scoffed out.

“I need you”…she said almost in a whisper.

Seon arched at her last statement . 

“I know it sounds sappy. But it’s true. I never realized until these past few days. I haven’t Been myself without seeing you a day. 

I can’t get you off my mind. I really don’t know why. No matter how hard I try.

I haven’t felt this way before. No man has ever occupied my thoughts like you. And it really gets me upset. 

That’s why I try so hard to push you away. still it’ doesn’t change a thing.

And you gone for three days? Shit!! I just couldn’t take it. That’s why I am here.

Please don’t go away. I beg you” she pleaded as seon stared at her in surprise.

He stared too long making Louisa feel uncomfortable. He just doesn’t know if Louisa is the one saying all these.

“Say something please” Louisa flipped her hands in the air.

Seon smiled.”I am speechless. I never expected those words from you. I just hope this isn’t one of my daydreams” he stated.

Louisa walked swiftly towards him and pinched him on his cheek.

“Ouch. Was that necessary?” He asked flinching a little.

“To make sure you are not dreaming” she blushed out 

“Well it shows I ain’t ” he smiled. Taking Louisa’s hand into his as he caressed them.

Louisa’s heart fluttered.

“I am not leaving new York City. “

” You never wanted to leave?”

“Nope. Just wanted to see how you’d react to my outburst. And it’s now Crystal clear that my feelings for you aren’t in vain” he soothed her soft straight hair. Causing Louisa to blush hard.

He stared keenly at her.

“You’ve got cute dimples Miss Sullivan” he remarked.

“Yeah I do. No one ever noticed except my parents” she stated with a wide grin.

“That’s because you don’t smile often. So people don’t get to see it at all. And it makes you more beautiful” he complimented. Causing her to blush again at the crudeness of his words.

“Thanks for the compliment and please quit calling me Miss Sullivan. I prefer Louisa from you.” She clipped.

“No problem Madame”  he drawled making Louisa giggle..

“So what next?” He asked still holding her hands into his.

“Next thing is to see a doctor. You are still sick.” She demanded.

“Not again… like I said, it’s just fever.” He blurted out.

“Just fever? Please seon let me help you! Do it for me please” she pouted.

Pulling her into a warm embrace.
