Angelo sat in his private room, rewatching the CCTV footage, yet he didn’t find anything suspicious. He removed the cigarette from his lips and reclined in his chair, zooming in on the prison room.
“Angelo?”. Elena called from outside and Angelo made to stand when he heard another face.
“You again?”. Josh scoffed.
“What are you doing in Angelo’s room?”. Elena asked.
“What are you doing here?, I asked you to leave, didn’t i?”. He asked instead.
“Who the f+ck do you think you are to order me around?”. Elena yelled, taking a gun from the drawer, aiming at him. Josh brought his out and aimed at her.
Elena gasped and shot his arm.
“You son of a bi+ch!. How dare you?!”. She screamed, shooting him again. Josh gripped the trigger, ready to shoot her when Angelo shot a bullet into the ceiling.
“Josh, what the hell?”. Angelo snapped, taking the gun from him angrily.
“Angelo!. Thank God you’re here. Josh was trying to kill me”. Elena sobbed hiding behind Angelo.
“I’m sorry master”. Josh apologized, bowing his head.
“Don’t apologize to me. Apologize to her”. He said and josh glared at Elena who smirked at him in return.
“I’m sorry Miss Elena”. He bowed again, grabbing his bleeding arm.
“What are you doing here?”. Angelo asked both of them.
“I came to tell you that Emily is awake”.
“I was bored”.
Josh and Emily spoke at once.
“How did you know that?”. Angelo asked josh.
“She’s been banging on the door non-stop”. Josh explained.
“Hello brother. Long time no see”. A voice boomed and they all turned, Emily stared wide eyed at the visitor and gulped visibly.
* CANNES, FRANCE
At the park*
Alyssa gritted her teeth angrily, she had been waiting for Skye to show up for 10 minutes now, the rest of the guys were inside a cafe, also waiting. They had only six days to make Skye fall in love with Alyssa and it was already looking hopeless.
“Hey”. Skye sat beside Alyssa on the far edge of the bench. Alyssa faked a smile and looked at him.
“I was worried you wouldn’t come”. She said.
“I got held up. What do you want?”.
“Why can’t you be nicer to me?”. Alyssa scoffed.
“This is me being nice”. Skye retorted and Alyssa frowned, glaring at the floor. She was resisting everything that told her to just kill the damn dude on the spot but she looked up again.
“Well, I’ll take what i get”. She muttered and looked up at him. He seemed distracted.
“Eyes up here”. She snapped her fingers in his face and he looked up.
“I want to ask you something”. He spoke and Alyssa furrowed her brows.
“The girl that came with you and your friends…..
“Katherine?”.
“The quiet one?”.
“Oh…. Nora”. Alyssa mumbled. “She’s his type”. She said in her mind.
“Yeah….”. Skye mumbled, looking around when he saw Nora coming out of the cafe, she was chasing a dollar that slipped fr her hand. “I’ll catch up with you later”. He rushed, standing up and leaving before Alyssa could blink.
“Wait….. a$shole!”. She grumbled.
Katherine, blade, Hades and Carlos were beside her in an instant.
“Any luck?”. Katherine asked.
“No. I think he’s into Nora”. Alyssa revealed.
“What?”.
“Shocker”. Hades smirked, earning a shove from Katherine.
“Where’s he?”. Katherine asked again.
“I don’t know, he said he’ll catch up…
“There”. Carlos interrupted, pointing towards Skye and Nora.
“Hi”. Skye smiled at Nora and she furrowed her brows.
“Hi?, What are you doing here?”. She asked.
“It’s a public place, isn’t it?”.
“Yeah, sorry”. Nora muttered, staring at the ground.
“I’m Skye vanquez”. He offered his hand for a shake and nora took it.
“Nora. Eleanora”.
“Last name?”.
“That’s not important”. Nora frowned a bit.

“Callum”. Angelo uttered and callum smiled, stepping in fully into the room. “Elena, it’s a surprise seeing you here”. He kissed her knuckles and she glared at him.
“My little brother has indeed grown. A lot has changed in you if i can remember correctly”. Callum smiled, but it was fake.
“Where’s zade?”. Angelo asked, ignoring his earlier question.
“You missed me?”. Zade grinned cheekily, coming in from nowhere and hugging angelo.
“Speak of the devil”. Angelo chuckled, breaking the hug.
“That’s enough”. Callum cut in. “Father wants to see you, he said you walked out on him last time and he’s not happy about that”.
“Not even in his dreams”. Angelo scoffed.
“Angelo, that’s our father”. Callum yelled.
“That’s your father”. Angelo shrugged.
“You little…
“Okay okay, that’s enough you two”. Zade stepped in between them. “Why don’t we have a little family dinner, just the three of us?”. He suggested.
“Hell no!, I have a mafia clan to take over. I cannot waste my time on unimportant things”. Callum sneered, eyeing Angelo. Zade looked at Angelo hopefully.
“I have work to do”. He said.
“You two are annoying, where’s blue?”. Zade grinned.
Elena bit her lips, they had forgotten about her presence entirely.

ADAMS MANSION
Brad came back from work looking tired. He was saving up to pay Angelo and so far, he has only gotten 200 thousand, a very far cry from millions.
Ava and Laura sat on opposite sides of him while Laura massaged his temple.
“Ava, your teacher called me this morning, he said you’re beginning to slack off in your studies”. Brad spoke and Ava lowered her head.
“Is that true, dear?”. Laura gasped.
“I’ll make it up in summer school”. Ava muttered, biting her finger nails nervously.
Laura palmed her face, knowing ava wasn’t to blame for that. It was all because of Angelo. Brad was silent and he was also thinking the same thing.
“You know, if you had just bought a phone for mil, maybe we would be able to contact her. Now we don’t know where she is, we can’t call the cops, we can’t tell anyone else, we don’t know how she’s doing and we don’t even know if she’s still alive”. Ava cried.
“Ava!”. Brad yelled and she flinched.
“How can you say such a thing about your sister?, Do you want her dead?”. Laura screamed.
“This is ridiculous. Go to your room ava”. Brad said and ava rolled her eyes, she didn’t say she wanted Emily dead but they just didn’t understand. She stood up, heading towards her room, then the door bell chimed.
“Who could it be at this hour?”. Laura quirked, her heart beginning to race at the possibility of another attack on them.
“Ava go to your room quickly”. Brad ordered hastily, going to open the door. Laura peeked from the side curiously.
Immediately brad opened the door, he nearly shut it and would have been successful if the intruder wasn’t stronger than he was.
“Please, i don’t need anymore drama”. Brad begged but it was useless, the person entered and Laura gasped loudly.
It was Filipe Rabé, the don of the Russian mafia’s brother.
“I’m not here to harm anyone”. He smiled, sitting down and grabbing an apple.
“I’m here to offer my help”. Filipe smiled, darting his eyes between the tense couple.
“I’m no longer involved with the Mafia, the last one didn’t end well for me or my family”. Brad said shakily.
“We want to form an alliance with you, pledge allegiance to the Russian mafia and we will protect you”. Filipe revealed.
“In return for what?”. Laura asked slowly.
“Ah. Very smart. We received information that Angelo has your daughter in his grasp…..
“No not my daughter, leave my family out of this. I don’t need your protection”. Brad refused curtly.
“Don’t you want your daughter?”. Filipe smirked when brad and Laura stayed quiet.
Ava watched from her room, wide eyed and hid immediately Filipe’s gaze reached her.

Emily coiled herself into a ball and rested her head on her hoisted up knees, she was leaning against the door and was exhausted from crying all morning and she couldn’t even sleep because anytime she closed her eyes, all she saw was Vlad’s face and sometimes Angelo’s.
No one had come to see her yet and she just knew it would be Angelo’s doing. That made her cry even more, she was back to square 1.
Suddenly, she perceived the scent of peppermint and her hairs stood on end, she didn’t even dare breathe. Angelo stood there for a while before leaving.
Callum watched Angelo’s movement and walked towards a guard on duty.
“Why is that room locked?”. He asked but the man stayed silent.
“I’m asking you a question, i am Angelo’s brother, you can trust me”. He convinced and the man nodded.
“The master’s slave is under punishment for breaking his rules. He locked her up and ordered that no one should be seen near the area. He also said we should make sure no one goes to or leaves there”. The guard spoke.
“Hmmm, but he was standing there just now. Interesting. I’ll love to see this little belle”. Callum smirked staring at the locked door.
