“Kel you can’t keep wasting your life because Sandra left you, she never wanted you Kel.” Rose said as I walked home drunk.
“You know absolutely nothing about Sandra, so shut the f**k up.” I said feeling so hurt. I miss her badly, and these three days without her as been hell for me.
“Look here Kel. You have to move on, if she didn’t leave you, she would have returned from wherever she went.” Rose said and I got angry.
“Rose shut up.” I said clenching my fist making her shiver in fear.
“If you are going walk me home then enough of this Sandra left me. She loved me and didn’t need to use a coffee to screw me, because I screwed her on my own will.” I said angrily before walking away.
“Fine. If you don’t want to hear the truth it’s fine. I drop you home and then I leave you to your own misery.” She said.
“That’s perfect. I have been alone for three days so it’s not new.” I said as I sighted my house in my blurry vision.
I was so drunk that I staggered as I walked. Sandra has made me miserable. I told her leaving me is the worse thing that would ever happen to me.
“Now she is gone! Someone took her, and now my life is miserable and until I see her again, I can never be okay. I can’t just move on.” I mumbled until I heard the horn of a car very close to my ears.
“Kel!” I heard Rose yell as she pulled me from the road.
“What?” I asked nonchalantly.
“You were almost run-over by a car dumb a*s.” She said hitting my head.
“I can take care of myself and you know that.” I said heading to my apartment.
“I hate you.” She said behind me and I smriked.
“I don’t care.” I said as I finally walked into the house and shut my door. I don’t want any more lectures from Rose.
I managed to walk up to my bed and laid on it carelessly. My head was beginning to spin, and I shut my eyes.
Memories of Sandra and I rushed into my head again and tears rolled down my eyes uncontrollably. I couldn’t believe that I was crying.
“Am I that fragile?” I thought cleaning my face in pain.
I turned to the window and then my eyes sighted something close to the window, exactly where Sandra’s towel dropped.
I stood up and walked up to the window to see something like a pendant on the floor.
“Where did this coming from?” I thought picking it up.
I stared at it trying to phantom what it was.
“I have never seen this with Sandra before.” I thought walking to the window to check if anyone was playing pranks on me.
I dropped the pendant on the bed and walked up to the bathroom to rinse off the drowsiness in my eyes.
I washed and washed my face before staring at myself in the mirror.
I sighed and walked out of the bathroom to still see the pendant on the bed. I guess this is real and not some fantasy.
It must be for Rose. She shouldn’t have gone far.
I walked out of my apartment and hit the road hopping I would find Rose around. My eyes were fair and I was in my right senses.
I was walking on the pavement close to the road when I mistakenly hit a woman making the pendant fall from my hand.
“Oh I am so sorry.” She said bending to pick up the pendant and Immediately she touched it, she shut her eyes for few seconds before looking at me.
“Are you okay?” I asked the woman.
“I Perceive evil.” She said and I furrowed my brows in confusion.
“What do you mean? Who are you?” I asked.
“Follow me.” She said and I obeyed immediately. She kept walking and I kept following. I needed answers to my questions badly.
I would be so happy if she could locate Sandra for me. Or just tell me anything, she looks like a Fortune teller.
We got to a remote area where I sighted only one house.
We walked to the house and she invited me in.
“Why do you live in a place like this?” I asked as she gestured me to sit.
“Because I need to separate myself from ordinary people.” She said and all I did was stare at her like a dummy.
“Where did you get this from?” She asked.
“I found it in my room some minutes ago. The same place my girlfriend’s towel was three days ago.” I said and she stared at the pendant.
“Where is she now?” She asked.
“She disappeared. She left me.” I said sadly.
“Maybe she didn’t.” She replied and I looked at her suspiciously again.
“Who are you? And what are you trying to do?” I asked as I saw her place the pendant in an iron bowl.
“I am a witch and I am doing a location spell to locate your girlfriend. This is the instrument of another witch.” She said and all I did was squeeze ny face with my hand.
“Is it me? I mean am I the one going insane? Witch? Took my girlfriend? Why?” I asked and she shut her eyes.
“We will find out now.” She said and began to chant.
“Insandia.” She said and the candles lighted immediately.
I moved back in fear and I saw the pendant began to melt.
Suddenly she opened her eyes, and then looked at me.
“I have found her.” She said and I sighed in relieve.
