“She will surely get me something for this.” Dulcie shortened Mel and earned a rude stare from him.
As they moves, a car suddenly stopped as it hoot, they looked back and stopped “who could that be?” Dulcie asked.
They watched quietly as a pair of shoes stepped down from the car and another followed as well.
He was on white pants and a turtles neck polo with a jackets, gasped rippled among them as they watched him making his way towards them.
“Crumbs.. that’s Pispa’s CEO.” Mel gasped, with her hands muffling her mouth.
“Good morning, Mrs. Haygreen.” Ronnie greeted politely.
“How have you been?” Shirin replied.
Honestly she couldn’t fathom the reason, Pispa’s boss shouldn’t be looking for them.
Or did she owe him?
No!
“Uh..”
“I’m fine. sorry. I wanted to know if Pispa returned home last night?” He trailed Shirin off as he pulled the sides of his jackets.
“No! She did come home and we are heading to the station to make a statement.” Mel chipped in.
Ronnie exhaled. “Can we go in. We need to talk.” He indicated their house.
Shirin gave him a retentive nod. “Okay.”
She had to trust this man in front of her, a person she knows nothing about, Shirin led him in.
Dulcie pulled Mel back. “Is this Mr. Wreker, Pispa always snitched?”
Mel nodded. “Any problem?”
“Whoa. I’m requesting for a picture from him.. maybe when he is done seeing mum.” Dulcie smiled happily.
A light slap landed on his head. “Are you crazy? C’mon Pispa isn’t home yet and you are spilling of pictures?”
“I know…”
“You are a lynx.” Mel poked his head unbelievably, leaving.
“C’mon, it is.. just a picture.” He said going after her.

Corey dropped on the bed lazily, with his wild grin, the room was exactly the same he left it.
His eyes fixed on the ceiling but slowly his head turned to the pictures hung on the wall.
The old frames was him and Hazard, his 9th birthday pictures, he took the pictures with his family. Corey stood heading towards the frames.
He chuckled. “I never knew you could bring in a woman.” His hands trailed on Hazard. “..But you act like a fucking saint.”
He puffed air. “I need to freshen up.” He dropped the frame and left to the bathroom.
Shortly, Corey was done, he came out naked, water dripping wet from his body.. That’s his life. He does that when he is alone.
Shame..? Nope he doesn’t have any.
Not even a little bit.
He strode to the closet to get his clothes, but his eyes caught a glimpse of his nakedness from the mirror.
Corey laughed hectically. “Wow that’s what ladies die for.” He said pointing at his down, as he dangles it.
So childish.

At the dinning room, Paula and Corey were eating. He was digging into the food, like his life depends on it—it tastes sumptuous.
“You made this?”
Paula nodded. “I mean. You need something special.”
Corey smiled. “Hazard isn’t at home?” He looked up at Paula who was trying to split a full chicken.
Paula chuckled. “He is but.. a manic now, Do you know he doused some hot water on some ladies… The maids to be precisely.”
“Jesus Christ.” Corey exclaimed. His hands brushing down his hairs as he looked up at his mother in disbelief.
“You can say that again.” Paula exhaled. “He is the real devil I’m seeing right now. So traumatizing… C’mon Corey you need to talk to your brother.”
“Hey mum, Don’t go there. You know this isn’t the first time he’s being this way. I don’t want to experience the hot water.” Corey pressed. “I’m not ever sure if that guy is ever gonna get married.”
Paula licked her lips, there were a little silent. “If you listen carefully to his fuck of a torture room… Someone is there, he’s been keeping her hostage simply because she doesn’t wanna work for him.” She complained.
“Her..?” Corey asked confusingly. “Hazard I know doesn’t associate with girls.” He shrugged with arched brows.
“That girl… I think she is different.” Paula sipped from her drinking water, turning at him at the same time.
“Abstruse..”
“Talking about me on your first day home?” Hazard’s voice dripping in sarcasm with his messy hair heading towards the kitchen.
He was still on his pyjamas, probably, he was still waking up from the bed and needed to take water or maybe milk.
That’s his favorite.
“Hazard!!” Corey exclaimed charmily. He underscored the smiles with wink, his hands were spread out in a cute way, Hazard exhaled with zero expression.
So impassive.
“So childish.” He muttered brushing off, Corey’s hand from his way heading into the kitchen.
“See? He didn’t notice I was here.” Paula groused. “I need your brother to stop all of these.”
Corey sighed. “Calm down mum, I think he will change with time.” He shrugged. “You know he has been like this for ages.”
Hazard came out with his cup of water and milk.
“Going to work?”
“None of your business.” Hazard taunted “Perhaps I don’t really need a baby in the company.” He walked past Corey and his mother.
“O—okay.” Corey shrugged, a hint of sadness and humiliation were washing on his face. “Mum, am i still a baby?” He pouted at his mother.
“One of the attributes he have to change. I still look fucking invisible to him.” Paula gritted.

“Hey.” Someone waved.
Katie looked back and smiled—but that was a forced smile actually. “August.” She mumbled.
August took a quick run towards her. “I’m sorry to ask. You are Katie right?” He smiled fleetingly.
Katie nodded.
She gulped nothing. August was the kind of guy you should fall for and right now…
She is falling.
What about Pispa if she find out?
She is dead. So she better not talk about it right?
“Uh.. I don’t know if you can tell where Pispa is?” August pressed. “Her phone is switched off and I can’t reach her.”
Katie hesitated. “Uh same here.. the last time I saw her was yesterday. And I still don’t get it… Her phone switched off.. that’s unlike her.” Katie said thoughtfully.
August sucked in air. “I need to go find her.” He said running out hurriedly, since last night, he couldn’t reach her?
And that bothers him.
“I’m going with you.” Katie screamed after him as they both rushed out immediately.

Corey put his ears at the torture room door for the third time again and the whimpers were still noticable, his eyes scoured about…
Uh.. he can’t pin out any CCTV camera, maybe Hazard never store one, he slowly twisted the handle of the door and it cracked open.
Gasped rippled, he never knew luck could be on his side. Maybe God want him to have some fun right?
He chuckled. His right leg stepped in and the second one followed, heading towards Pispa, she hadn’t notice him, her head was bent and she still struggle to get free.
“Hey.” Corey waved dropping on the sofa in front of Pispa, the sofa bounced him some couple of time.
He sat for a while admiring her beauty, she is so pretty. Was that the reason Hazard captured her?
But isn’t into girl.
He shook the idea off.
Pispa raised her head, seeing him, she furrowed brows surprisingly at him. “And you are?” She asked resolutely.
Corey scoffed. “I bet this is the reason my brother keeps you hostage.” He wasn’t expecting that from her.
Too Feist. Too daunted.
His kind of girl.
Pispa rolled her eyes without saying anything, her eyes were filled with hatred and retaliation.
“C’mon you so pretty to be in this mess.” Corey said, he stood heading towards Pispa, who won’t stop staring hatefully at him.
Now standing adjacent to her, he raised his hand to touch Her.
“Don’t lay that fingers on me.” Pispa snorted.
“Hey girl, you are so blunt.”
“Look old fogey. I’m never getting intimidated by your scary look, you better tell me who you are before you have less fingers.”
“C’mon.” Corey laughed. “Less finger? By you Ms. Bluff?”
Pispa breathed. She was mute. Corey grabbed her hair forcibly, sending it backwards, Pispa whimpered painfully.
“Look, Baby girl. I’m not like my brother, I’m here to give you an offer, much more better than my brother’s.” He whispered, his breathes were in cadences.
Pispa groaned as she breathed heavily.
“..And you will be free from my brother.” He added darkly into her ears which brought down shiver down to her spine.
