Send Her Back to the Cell

Kelly has been acting quiet since the incident happened. After Myra had advised Freya on what to do, she found no reason to be scared of Vincenzo’s actions tonight. She was bravely ready to defend herself when he tried to play hot headed at her.

It was so late in the night, that it was around ten minutes past ten when Vincenzo returned from his mission. He was stressed out and tired at the same time, hoping to get to his room and take a long nap.

But when he got there, he met Kelly awake, looking sour. Troubled, he decided to ask her what the problem was but she refused to talk to him. She was acting stubborn, but after a long persuasion, she finally spoke up.

“Isn’t that bastard of a girl you brought to our house. She’s been acting tough all day. I needed help with some thing and I’ve been calling her for almost an hour. All she did was stalk around the mansion, searching for a means to escape. Luckily I caught her, and I tried to warn her not to do any thing stupid, all she did was yell at me, saying you don’t deserve me in your life. As if that isn’t enough, she went ahead calling me names I’ve never heard in my entire life.”

After she had said those words, she faked cries so that Vincenzo would see so many reasons to believe what she had just said. This got him annoyed that he found the strength to storm out of the room, yelling Freya’s name.

Meanwhile, Freya was in the kitchen, since she loves spending most of her time with the chef. Since she first tasted the chef’s cooking, it had gotten her attention that perceiving the aromatic smell of the meal on fire always made her day.

“FREYA!!!” She heard his voice loud and clear.

“What’s the matter this time?” Asked the chef.

“It’s the mistress again.” She said before leaving to answer Vincenzo.

“With what right do you have to talk back to my girlfriend?” He asked as soon as she walked out of the kitchen. “I own you doesn’t give you the audacity to insult her. No matter what, she remains your mistress.”

“If you want me to give her the respect she deserves, then for once, she should learn how to talk nicely. My brother murdered your cousin doesn’t make me a murderer, and she has no right to call him a murderer either. I’m only here because of you, do you think if I had the power to leave, I’d still be here?” She scoffed. “And for her information, I’m a maid, and not a slave.”

He hated the audacity she had used to talk back at him. He grabbed her chin tight, staring down at her with his anger filled eyes which seemed not to be scaring Freya at the moment.

“I’m your Master, you have no right to talk back to me.”

“And I’m a human too, I need my respect. Besides, you’re just my master, and not my God.”

He lets go of her, but the anger on his face still remains. Staring at her alone made him lose his temper and he had to land a hot slap on her cheek. The force of the slap sent her to the ground.

“You’re stripped off from your duty, and you’re returning back to the cell immediately.” He said with less emotion, walking out on her.

Freya’s heart skipped a beat as he said that. She wasn’t expecting such from him. She didn’t regret her boldness, but his reaction towards her was way too beyond her expectations.

Hot tears clouded her eyes. She knew what she saw while in the cell, it wasn’t comforting, rather it was tormenting and he was going to send her back there? Before she could know it, the men had come to drag her.

“No! No! Let me go! Myra! Myra, don’t let them take me!” Her voice alerted the maids who came to witness what was going on. Myra rushed to the men to plead for them to let her go, but one of them slapped her to the ground.

“Myra, please help me!” She kept crying.

They threw her into the cell, locking it. Freya glared around the cell, recalling those past days she had spent a month of her life in here, and the choking smell still hasn’t left the cell. She went to sit on the bed, crying her eyes out.

However, Kelly, who had witnessed what had happened, walked in before Vincenzo. She was happy and felt relaxed that finally, Freya had been taken out of her sight. He didn’t say any thing to Kelly, he took off his shirt, then lay on the bed.

Kelly smiled victoriously. “You think you are smarter than I am? No, you just displayed how stupid you are. Now that you’ve been sent back to that cell, let’s see how things will go this time. Bi+ch.”

With what had happened, she felt relaxed enough to have a nice good night’s sleep.

Meanwhile, Myra went to the cell. She had to plead with the men who ended up giving her just five minutes to talk to Freya.

“Hey.” Freya leaves the bed, running to the door as soon as she hears Myra’s voice.

“Myra, is that you?” She asked.

“Yes, it’s me.”

“You came.”

“I have to, Freya. It’s my fault you’re in here” she blamed herself. “I shouldn’t have convinced you to talk back. If you hadn’t, this wouldn’t have happened.”

“No, you taught me the right thing to do. All those times I let him talk to me like I kid, I have my rights too, Myra, I can’t let some one else take it from me. I don’t blame you for what happened to me, and I don’t blame myself either. At least, it’s better rotting here than having some one humiliate my life.”

“I’ll talk with the chef to make you meals. Or maybe I can sacrifice my night food for you.”

“You don’t have to.”

“You don’t deserve the torture, Freya. I’ll be back soon, I promise.”
