<NEXT DAY••CRESWOOD HIGH ACADEMY>
The whole school was in utter shock and disarray when the news reached them about Avery’s death. It was so unexpected, people like Sylvia was seen crying her eyes out in a corner while other students tried to console her.
Maggie didn’t come to school since she was still at home, recuperating.
“What?” Lucia staggered back when she watched the news pasted on the school blog.
“Hey,” Kingsley held her in place. “Are you okay?”
Lucia cleared her throat and nodded. “Umm, I need to visit the restroom real quick.” She said and without waiting for a reply, she walked away.
Lucia walked in the restroom and immediately splashed water on her face. It felt like a dream to her, Avery is dead?
She didn’t have the chance to tell her she never died, she never had the chance to make her pay.. Of course, she was angry against her but she didn’t wish for her dead.
Lucia could feel her eyes getting red and she closed her eyes splashing more water on her face. She looked at herself on the mirror for awhile before walking out of the restroom to see Kingsley standing there with one hand in his pocket.
Kingsley strides closer to her before he cups her cheek with his free hand.
“Just cry if you want to cry.” Kingsley whispered softly and that was all it took. Lucia immediately broke down in tears.
Kingsley pulled her closer to him, engulfing her securely in his hand.
“We never had that sisterly bond but I never wished her death..” Lucia cried, hugging him tighter.
He just kissed her hair, stroking her hair soothingly.

<THE WHITE HOUSE>
Daphne was seen carrying Thomas’s food to his room. She made to open the door but immediately stopped when she heard voices coming from in the room
“Are you sure about the change of will, Sir?” A voice spoke. Daphne could identify the voice to be Thomas’s attorney.
“Yes, I want all of my properties I’ve made to go to my son.” Thomas said and Daphne’s eyes widened, she almost dropped the tray she had.
“What about your wife Mr. President.”
“She’ll have most of my properties. I’m just honoring my first wife’s wish, to give Kingsley the best life possible.”
Daphne’s grip on the tray tightened as she glared at nothing in particular.
“That’s never going to happen. Not while I’m alive.” Daphne said inwardly.

Becky walked into the laboratory when she met Kyle just about leaving. She immediately looked away and turned then left
“Becky, wait!” Kyle held her hand
“What? What do want?” Becky asked coldly.
Kyle stared at her in the eye. “I’m sorry.” He said.
“I shouldn’t be the one you should be apologizing to.”
“I’m sorry because I wanted you to hear it from me.” Kyle said.
“Come with me.” Kyle said and made to pull her away but someone else grabbed Becky’s free hand
Turned out to be Mason.
“And why should she go with someone like you.” Mason said
“What makes you think you’re any better?” Kyle raised a brow and Mason glared at him.
“I’m not letting her go with a loser like you.” Mason said.
“I’m sorry…”
“Will sorry bring back what you stole from me!!” Mason yelled.
“I did that for you! Never knew it was going to turn out this way.” Kyle said calmly and Mason snickered.
“Oh please! Spare me some lies would you? What? You’re going to say you did it for me, because I was sick so you wanted to help out by substituting for me so I wouldn’t get more ill.” Mason scoffed.
“Yes.”
“Will you quit acting like the good guy. You’re just a two faced jerk.” Mason said
Becky could sense the air getting tense. “Guys..”
“Everything I’ve been doing, I did it for you!” Kyle suddenly snapped loudly.
“I gave up my dream of becoming an idol because I wanted you to succeed! I was the one choose to be in the group but I switched it to your name because I wanted you to achieve your dream! Everything I’ve been doing, I’ve always done it for you and now just because of one misunderstanding I’ve been apologizing for almost 2 years now, you wanna throw away all the moments I’ve been there for you?! Really!!” Kyle yelled loudly.
Mason just stared at Kyle with wide eyes, even Becky wasn’t left out. He really did that for him? Kyle was the one chosen and not even him in the first place, he gave up his dreams for him (Mason)
Kyle swept his hair back then looked at Mason and Becky before walking away.
“Kyle!” Becky screamed and went after him.
“Kyle!” Becky caught up with him by the staircase leading to the rooftop.
“What?” Kyle asked without looking at her.
“You… You really did that for your brother?” Becky asked. “You were ready to give up your dream of becoming idol for him?”
The corner of his lips raised. “More than anyone I wanted to see my brother happy.” He said.

<JEONG MANSION>
The sound of a phone falling on the ground was heard as Maggie stood frozen on her spot with wide eyes.
She just saw the news of Avery’s death on the school blog. Fear and worry was evident in her her eyes.
No matter how much she thinks of who and how could A very possibly die so suddenly, her mind kept going to only one person
Without another thought, Maggie dashed out of her room. She ran into the living to meet Jade discussing on phone.
“Mom!” Maggie walked to her
Jade looked at her with one brow raised up. “What?”
Maggie’s lips shook as she parted them. “What did you do to Avery?” She asked.
She kept hoping and wishing that Jade would deny it but goosebumps creeped in her body when she saw Jade smirk.
“I see you’ve already watched the news.” Jade said.
Maggie gasped as she took a step back. “You… You killed her.”
“Yes.” Jade said and tilted her head to the side.
“What? You’re going to report to me to the cops?” Jade smiled viciously.
She suddenly grabbed Maggie’s hand really tight, her manicured nails piercing against Maggie’s skin
“Argh!”
“You can choose whatever you want but I advise you to make the right choice. Coz if you dare say anything, you’re going down along. After all you were the one with the video.” Jade sneered.
“Mom..” Tears slipped through Maggie’s eyes.

<MALE’S CABINET>
They just finished having their gym and all the guys already changed, except Jayden. He was the last to change.
Eva beeped in and her eyes widened when she saw Jayden immediately pull off his top. She immediately hid back her face, looking flustered.
“Now you’re spying on me while I strip? Wow.”
Eva’s eyes widened and her cheek became redder. She came out of her hiding, her gaze immediately went to Jayden’s abs but she looked away almost immediately.
“The girls are waiting for me to leave and I didn’t know when we’ll meet. So I came to give you this,” She said and stretched an envelope to him.
“A love letter?” Jayden question as he collected it.
Eva rolled her eyes. “You wish, Scarlett’s birthday is in two days and she asked me to help her distribute the invitations.” Eva explained.
“Alright, I’ll be there.” Jayden said.
“Your choice.” Eva shrugged and turned to leave but Jayden pulled her back.
A gasp escaped her lips when her hands palmed his abs. She stared up at Jayden with wide eyes as he arranged her hair properly. Her heart began racing at the close proximity.
Jayden leaned closer to her ear and she held her breath.
“And you still deny you don’t have a crush on me.” Jayden whispered.
Her eyes widened and she immediately pushed him off glaring at him, well she tried to glare at him.
“Fool!” She fired and left. Jayden chuckled before he turned to pick his clothes.
“She’s cute when blushing.”

<ROOFTOP>
Lucia was seen seated there as the gentle breeze blew on her hair. She tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear as she stared at the view of the city.
While waiting for Eva to come back, she decided to wait here. She shouldn’t be sad but weirdly she was.
She suddenly remembered she received a message yesterday she didn’t have time to check it out.
Bringing out her phone, her brows furrowed when she saw an unknown number messaged her. Weirdly the number looked familiar
Clicking on the video, her whole system froze when she saw it was a video sent by Avery.
“Lucia, maybe by the time you’re watching this video I might be dead. I want to tell you everything I know about Jade, Maggie’s mother…”
