Theme: Baby finds daddy a soulmate

Marga’s Pov:
I thought my ears were deceiving me.
What could a baby be doing outside by this time of the night?
Could it be the deadly animal bush baby?
Fear gripped me but I continued hearing the baby’s voice.
The baby was crying.
Oh no!
I can’t go back to the house….
Goldy and her mother are going to skin me alive.
The baby’s voice was so innocent.
I rushed to the direction where I was hearing the voice.
It was a very beautiful little baby girl.
Immediately she saw me, she smiled broadly as tears rolled down her cheeks.
Her smile was so cute.
I bent to her and touched her cheek and she chuckled.
“Aww… Little one!” I said as she crawled closer to me and cling to me.
I carried her.
She is such an adorable baby.
But why is she outside this late?
It’s almost 10pm in the night.
“Baby where are your mommy and daddy?” I asked not expecting an answer cos the baby cannot talk.
She shook her head and laughed.
Silly….
I laughed with her.
At least I’ve found a playmate here in the lonely place.
Sandy’s Pov:
“Baby Kira!” we called aloud as we started searching for the baby.
We searched everywhere.
All the nook and crannies of the house yet we didn’t see her.
We were already wailing when daddy was trying to contact the police.
“Oh baby! Where are you little one?” I cried as I sat on the stairs.
“She was here a while ago but she’s not here anymore” Nicky wailed
“Could someone have carried baby Kira?” Nicholas weep
“Oh kids! Calm down am sure baby Kira is somewhere close and she’s safe OK” Dad said.
“Daddy am really sorry!” I said as I fell on my knees.
“Sorry? What for?” Dad asked confused
“Am sorry because it’s all my fault she got missing… If I hadn’t insisted in this SUMMER PICNIC then maybe baby will still be with us” I said in tears.
Dad snorted and hugged me.
“Of course not baby! It’s not your fault” Dad said softly.

The sun ray from the window and straight to my eyes.
I breathed heavily as I opened my weak eyes.
I can’t believe I slept on the bare ground in the sitting room including my siblings.
We cried ourselves to bed.
My eyes caught with baby’s picture beside the television.
“Baby Kira!” I cried bitterly
Nicky and Nicholas also woke up.
“Have you seen baby?” Nicky asked as I shook my head in disagreement.
Nicky burst into tears.
We held each other tightly.
Mr Alex’s Pov:
“Damn officer! What do you mean by you still have no information concerning my baby’s disappearance?” I flared up in annoyance.
“C’mon Mr Alexander you know this is going to be easy! I mean we are trying our best sir” the inspector said.
“Bullshit! Am freaking out right now…. Your best is certainly not enough” I yelled banging my hand on the desk.
“Please calm down Mr Cruz!” The inspector said
“Calm down? Really? I should calm down? Hell no! I want my daughter back” I said as I stood up.
“But Mr Cruz do you…?” The inspector asked.
“Spare me that Mr inspector…. The only words I want to hear right now is “YOUR BABY HAVE BEEN FOUND” apart from that keep your words to yourself… Excuse me!” I said as I got up and walked away.
I got to the garage and to my car and speeded out of the compound.
Oh my little baby….
I just hope she’s OK!
But where could she be?
Where in heaven’s name is my little one?
I worried as I kept driving.
Goldy’s Pov:
“Ouch…. Take it easy mother!” I yelled in pain as mother applied some balm on my injured cheek.
“Sorry dear l” Mother said
“That good for nothing girl Marga! I’ll strangle her to death if she comes back” I cried
“That girl is nothing but trouble for me” Mother said
“Mother what the hell are you waiting for to kick that girl’s a*s out of this house?” I asked anxiously
“Well not yet Goldy! Her father won’t allow that” Mother said
“Damn! You need to see how that cute guy was starring at that pig Marga” I groaned
Mother looked at me suspiciously with her hand on her waist.
“Why are you even so angry about that Goldy? Do you like the man too?” Mother asked anxiously
“Uhm… No… I mean yes… I mean no of course not” I stammered.
Mother nudged me.
“I knew you liked him” Mother said
“Well Mother he’s so handsome and hot… He looks really rich and I bet he’s not living here” I said
“Really? He looks rich?” Mother asked anxiously
“Yes mother!” I said defensively
“Wow! We are definitely gonna find him and make him love you” Mother said as I smiled broadly.
“Really mother?” I asked excitement
“Of course” Mother said as I jumped for joy and hugged her.
“Thank you mother!” I said happily.

Few minutes later…
we heard a knock on the door.
Mother and I smiled at each other.
“It’s Marga mother!” I smiled
“Yes… Get ready pick up the stick and I’ll get the bucket of chili” Mother said
I quickly picked up the stick.
The plan is, once we open the door for Marga, mother will pour the bucket of chilli water on her.
Chilli….. That’s pepper
and we will whip her with the stick thoroughly.
We tiptoed to the door and quickly opened it.
Mother poured out the chilli water.
We gasped….
“FATHER?” I shouted
Mother threw the pepper water on Father …..
