Marga’s Pov:
My hands were already hurting due to how tight my hands were tied.
Tears kept dropping down my cheeks.
For the past three days that I’ve been here, crying became my daily routine.
Am being tied up and treated like an animal.
Every morning, a lady who is among the thugs that were keeping me hostage always comes in with an old plate.
It’s always half done beans or just half cooked corn.
I hardly eat anything.
For the past three days I haven’t eaten enough food.
I kept on crying and crying.
The cracking noise of the door as it threw open smacked me into consciousness.
It was the saucy lady.
As usual with the old plate.
And like always…. Half cooked beans and palm oil.
What a cruel set of people…!
Mother and Goldy are so heartless.
“Here… Eat this!!’ She dropped the plate carelessly beside me.
I blinked my eyes as tears rolled down my cheeks.
She also kept a glass of water.
“You don’t want to eat you stinky swine?” She cursed me under her breath.
I couldn’t say a word because tears didn’t let me.
I choked in tears….
“Miss Lin please let me out of here” I cried.
Well I’ve always heard them call her Lin….
Linda is her name but Lin for short.
She laughed wickedly as she kicked my ass roughly.
“You will rot in here until you die” She smirked
“Please I want to leave this….” I said as she slapped my face so hard.
“Shut that gutter and eat” She yelled at me as she pushed me away making me hit my head against the wall so hard.
She walked out of the room and locked the door.
I burst into tears again.
Mr Alex’s Pov:
We spat out the food with squeezed faces.
I stared at her in shock.
“Miss Marga is this really you?” Nicholas screamed as he dropped his glass of water.
“Gosh! This is so yucky…. So much pepper and salt as well” Sandy shrieked in annoyance.
“My goodness! This isn’t like it’s prepared by Miss Marga” Nicky cried out.
“I think daddy’s food is even better than this… Yes! Dad adds a lot of pepper too but this is worst” Sandy added.
Marga bent her head in shame.
“This is so unlike you Marga… I lost my appetite” I said as I walked out of the dinning table shaking my head in disappointment.
“This food disgusts me!” Sandy said as she eyed Marga and walked upstairs.
Followed by Nicholas and Nicky who were both also grumbling.
Is this really Marga?
Why does she behave so different?
This isn’t the Marga Dantes I use to know…
She’s so different…
Sandy’s Pov:
We stormed into the room angrily.
“Oh my gosh Sandy that was the worst food I’ve ever tasted in my entire life” Nicholas blurted.
I fluttered my eyes and tapped my legs on the ground.
“Sandy is that woman downstairs really Miss Marga?” Nicky whispered.
I scratched my head in confusion.
“I don’t think so” I replied
“Gosh… What the heck is wrong with Miss Marga? That was poison in place of food” Nicholas said
I rolled my eyes at him.
Of course Nicholas is a foodie.
“Yeah right… And I know you must be so hungry now right Mr food?” I teased him as he eyed me.
“But seriously Sandy that is Miss Marga downstairs yes…. But that isn’t her cooking” Nicky said
“Nicky I have a bad feeling about her…. I mean the weird Miss Marga” I said as I bit my lips.
“And what’s that?” Nicholas asked
“I don’t know exactly but I will find out cos I know something is fishy” I said
“Yes Sandy! I think she isn’t really Miss Marga” Nicky lowered her voice.
We nodded our heads in agreement.
Mrs Celine’s Pov:
I sipped my wine in excitement.
And finally, my daughter is living in a big mansion.
She’s definitely going to marry the rich Mr Alex.
I smiled heartily.
Immediately, my cell phone rang aloud.
it was Goldy.
My adorable daughter
I picked up the phone.
Hello Goldy… How are you doing?.. I said happily
Am in hot soup mother… She sounded worried
What happened?… I asked anxiously
I was almost implicated today… I can’t cook mother and that’s unlike Marga… She said
I scratched my head in confusion.
Cook? Are there no chef and maids in such a big mansion?.. I managed to say.
This is just their guest house not the main building… She said.
Oh no!… I worried
What do suggest I do mother?… She asked anxiously
I was about talking when I heard a loud voice.
“CELINE WHERE THE HECK IS MY DAUGHTER?”
It was my husband.
I flinched in fear.
Goldy’s Pov:
I sat heavily on the couch worried.
I bit my fingers as my heart kept racing.
Why can’t I do this right?
And now they are having doubts about me….
I cannot let this happen.
But the food was really horrible!
Just then, I heard a loud laughter and I quickly turned around.
It was the witch “Bella”.
I turned my face away as she catwalked towards me.
She smirked mischievously at me.
“Awwn… Poor you! I saw how humiliated you were at the dinning earlier” She mocked.
This stupid lady is too garrulous for my liking.
“Stay away from me Bella” I said not knowing what else to say.
“From the time I set my eyes on you I knew there was something off about you” She started
My heart skipped a beat.
Does she know about my little secret?
I gulped nervously.
“What are you talking about Bella?” I asked in nervousness.
“You think I don’t know?” She laughed
“Know what?” I asked
She burst into laughter….
