Troy couldn’t catch up with Mabel as she took a cab and drove off. He entered his car and drove after her.
Shawn and the rest came out of the bar, sighing in relief. They took their women and left the bar.
Mabel got home and paid the cab driver before rushing inside. Her face was streaked with tears, and her eyes were red from crying.
When her family tried to approach her, she ran to her room and locked the door from the inside.
“What’s up with her?” Rachel asked, confused.
Then Troy rushed into the room, his face worried.
“Troy, what’s going on?” Mr. Mark asked.
“It’s just a little misunderstanding.”He said.
He rushed off to Mabel’s room, and her family stared confusedly at him. Mabel leaned against the wall and sobbed quietly.
Troy knocked on the door, his face etched with concern. “Mabel, please open up and hear me out.”
Mabel’s voice was laced with anger. “Go away!”
“Please, just hear me out, please!”
V came over with a spare key. “Here is the key.”
“Thank you.”He said, his eyes filled with gratitude.
He took the key from V, opened the door quickly, and went inside, shutting the door behind him.
Mabel stood up, facing him angrily, her eyes blazing with fury.
“How did you get in here? Get out!” she yelled. He moved to hug her, but she struggled, hitting him. “Let me go! I hate you!” she sobbed.
“Please, I am sorry,” he said, his voice filled with emotion as he held her tight. She sobbed in his arms, and he patted her hair.
Mabel’s tears began to subside as she was still held up in Troy’s arms, her face red and puffy from crying.
Troy’s face was etched with concern, his eyes filled with love and reassurance.
Meanwhile, her family in the living room was worried about what could be going on between them.
“I just hope they resolve whatever issues they have.”Mrs.Ruth said looking worried.
“Yeah.”Rachel said, sympathetic.
Then her phone beeped with an incoming message from Leo, and she smiled, standing up to leave.
“I got to go, family. See you later.” She took her handbag and left, a happy smile still on her face.
“Where is she off to?”Mr.Mark asked curiously.
“Probably going out with Leo.”V said, knowing.
“Oh, I see. Are they dating now?”Mrs.Ruth asked
“I guess. Maybe.”V said, amused.
They smiled, happy for Rachel.
Some minutes later, after Troy convinced Mabel to come home with him, she reluctantly refused to go with him. He had no choice but to pick her up on his shoulder and leave with her.
Mabel’s face was a mixture of anger and surprised.
Troy’s face turned triumphant, a smile spreading across his face.
He bid her family farewell and left with her.
Soon after, they arrived home, and Troy took her to the bathroom. They were lost in their little world as they turned on the shower.

“Hello,” she said, her voice husky with sleep.
Nina and Sofia’s voices came through the other end of the phone, and Mabel’s expression changed to one of mild annoyance.
“Girl, are you okay?” they asked in unison.
Mabel’s lips curled slightly, and she replied, “Yes, I am fine.”
“Where are you now? Are you with Troy in his house?”Nina asked.
Mabel’s eyes remained closed, but a small smile played on her lips as she replied, “Yes.”
Nina and Sofia let out an amused scream.
“Aw! You guys made up,” Sofia said. “Here we were thinking you’d be sulking in your room all through the night, not knowing you two would end up having a moment together.”
“Can you guys hang up already? I am tired, and it’s six in the morning.” Mabel said.
“Dummy! It’s eight in the morning. Why are you so tired? Did he bang you all through the night?”Sofia teased
“Why are you so up early? Aren’t you tired from last night?” Shawn’s teasing voice was heard from Sofia’s end of the phone,
“Well, I guess I wasn’t the only one who got banged all through the night.” Mabel tease her back.
“Aw! My two ungrateful friends got laid last night, and I didn’t have any from mine.”Nina said.
“Do you want to continue?” Shawn’s teasing voice came up again, followed by Sofia’s giggling.
“Shawn stop!”.Sofia giggling filled the phone.
“I am hanging up.”Mabel said.
“Me too. I guess someone is getting a morning doze at this moment.” Nina said, They hung up, and Mabel fell back to sleep, a soft smile still on her lips.
