I watched Angelica kiss John and I felt so full of jealousy, I walked to my room feeling so stupid and cheated.
He just wanted to use me, and then go back to marry Angelica. I am so stupid for thinking he feels something for me.
I laid on my bed feeling so bad. Then there was a knock on the door, I stood up reluctantly to get it.
“Davis.” I called trying to look okay as I opened the door.
“Charlotte I have something for you.” He said smiling.
“Really? Come in.” I said opening the door wider. He walked in and I shut the door behind us.
“Tada!” He said bringing out a packet of a brand new phone.
“Wow that is cool, but do you need another phone after the one you using? It is still looking very new.” I said checking out the phone.
“That isn’t mine. It is yours.” He replied.
“What? Mine! Did you get this for me?” I asked happily.
“No I didn’t, John did.” He replied narrowing his eyes.
“Ehn I am sorry, but I can’t accept this.” I said stretching the phone to him.
“C’mon Charlotte, Why are you doing this to John. He is truly sorry.” He said sadly.
“Davis, he kissed me when he still loves his fiancée. I even saw them kiss today.” I said sadly sitting on my bed.
“Charlotte John loves you, he is just confused.” He said sitting close to me.
“He should go with Angelica, I am a maid after all.” I said smiling.
“Stop calling yourself a maid, and for Angelica she can never come close to John again.” He said happily.
“I don’t understand you.” I said looking really confused.
“Go talk to John. He is in his room now down in tears.” He said standing up.
“What? Tears? Why?.” I asked in shock.
“Angelica cheated on him.” He said sadly.
“What!! Why would she do that!” I yelled.
“Go see John before he kills himself.” He said walking out of my room.
Now what is going on? What did Angelica do to John that is making him cry?
I rushed out of my room heading to John’s room. I could hear his sobs from the front of his door. This is really bad.
I opened the door slowly feeling kinda scared. I peeped into the room to see John sitting on the bed,he was backing the door.
“Davis I am not in the mood this time.” He said cleaning his tears off his face.
“It is me.” I said fondling with my fingers.
“Charlotte?” He called in surprise looking at me. His face was very teary and red.
I walked closer to him, his gaze was glued on me.
“Are you okay?” I asked standing in front of him.
“I am not Charlotte.” He said sadly.
“Do you mind sharing it?” I asked smiling.
He nodded and patted his bed gesturing me to sit. I sat close to him and we both stared at each other.
“It is quite simple. Angelica was having an affair with her boss, and he sent her their nudes while her phone was with me.” He said as tears wet his eyes again. He is really softhearted.
“John I am so sorry about all these. She shouldn’t have done that, you are a very nice man and every woman would look to have you to themselves, but Angelica just threw away something precious.” I said looking into his eyes.
“I think I deserved that after all I did to you too.” He said looking away.
“John about that, I am sorry for acting that way. I felt you just wanted to use me just like every other man that sets his eyes on me.” I said holding his hands.
“I never thought of using you, I was just…. Just..” He stammered but I stopped him with a peck on his lips.
His eyes widened and he touched his lips looking at me. I looked away shyly, and he moved my face to meet his.
“Did you just kiss me?” He asked.
“Yes, That is a thank you for the phone you got me.” I replied blushing.
“Oh that, it is nothing Charlotte. Miss Ruby called saying she had something urgent to tell you, so I decided to get you one.” He replied smiling.

“Miss Ruby? Urgent?” I asked thinking about what she wanted to discuss with me.
“Yes, so you can just put a call through to her.” He replied smiling.
“Why are you so nice to me?” I asked looking into his eyes.
“Charlotte I am nice to everyone.” He replied.
“You are getting to me.” I said standing up.
“That is what I want Charlotte.” He replied walking closer to me.
“Erhnnn I will go call Miss Ruby now.” I said walking out of his room in haste.
Charlotte you kissed him!!! You actually did kiss Him!!! He looked so cute as he talked to me. I melted at every statement he made, i could have done something nasty.
I need to be really careful, I don’t even know if he is in love with me? Or I am in love with him. Angelica was actually so mean to hurt John.
“He doesn’t deserve any of that. He is so generous and if I was his fiancée I will never do anything to hurt him.” I thought aloud as I got to my room door.
“I know that well Charlotte, you are supposed to be John’s girlfriend not that slut!” Davis said behind me.
“C’mon I can’t be John’s girlfriend, I am sure by tomorrow hundreds of girls are knocking this door asking for his hand in marriage.” I said rolling my eyes as I walked in.
“The important thing is that he sees someone who loves him not just for his money or looks, but for who he really is with or without the looks or money.” He said trailing behind me.
“Yes Davis.” I said in total support of his statement.
“And that is why i choose you.” I said pointing at me.
“C’mon Davis” I said rolling my eyes again.
“Do you love him?” He asked to my surprise and u stared at him speechlessly.
