The next morning, Karan and Abhi were still deep in sleep, sprawled out on the floor. Rohan sat down facing them, sipping from his morning coffee, and watched with amusement as they dozed off. As they slowly came to, Rohan couldn’t help but laugh.

“Ouch,” they groaned in pain, rubbing their heads.

Karan and Abhi managed to sit upright on the floor, their hair looking messy and disheveled. Karan’s eyes were bleary, and Abhi’s face was scrunched up in pain.

“What happened?” Karan asked, looking around confused. “Where am I?”

 “In my house, dummies.”Rohan chuckled.

 “What happened?” Abhi asked.

“You two were wasted, and I brought you to my house.”Rohan grinned mischievously.

Karan rubbed his neck, wincing in pain. “Gosh, why does my neck hurt?”

“That’s because you both slept on the couch”.

Abhi looked at Rohan accusingly. “You made us sleep on the couch?”

“Yes, of course. Should I have taken you two morons to my room instead?”Rohan teased.

“That would have been better. Now my body aches.”Abhi scowled.

“That serves you two right.”he smirked.

“Does it occur to you that I’m getting married today, and you made me sleep on the couch?”Karan said

Rohan scoffed, his eyes glinting with amusement. “I don’t care.”

He took another sip of his coffee, and Karan and Abhi stared hard at him, their faces a mixture of annoyance and amusement.

   ★KABRI’S MANSION★

In a beautifully decorated room, Samara sat on a traditional Indian divan, surrounded by her friends and family. They were all smiling and chatting as they prepared her for the big day.

One of the elderly women, dressed in a vibrant saree, gently applied a paste made of turmeric and sandalwood to Samara’s skin. The paste, known as “haldi,” was a traditional Indian wedding ritual, believed to bring good luck and purity to the bride.

As the woman applied the paste, Samara’s friends and family sang traditional Indian wedding songs, their voices filled with joy and celebration.

Meanwhile, another woman, dressed in a elegant salwar kameez, sat beside Samara, holding a small, intricately designed plate. On the plate was a mixture of vermilion powder and turmeric, known as “sindoor.”

The woman gently applied the sindoor to Samara’s hair parting, a traditional Indian wedding ritual that symbolized the bride’s marital status.

As they worked on Samara’s wedding preparations, one of the women handed her a small, beautifully decorated leaf, known as a “mehndi leaf.” On the leaf was written a traditional Indian wedding message, in intricate henna designs:

“May your marriage be filled with love, laughter, and happiness. May your bond grow stronger with each passing day.”

Samara smiled, feeling grateful and blessed as she held the mehndi leaf in her hand, surrounded by the people she loved.

While the wedding preparations were underway, Samara and the girls shared knowing smiles at each other.

“Why is Arya not here with us? Isn’t she supposed to be part of us?” Sonia asked, raising an eyebrow.

“That’s right, I guess she’s up to something. I saw her sneaking around last night,” Kiara said, her eyes glinting with malice.

“Stop spluttering nonsense. I’m sure she’s busy somewhere else.”Roshni intervened.

 “I shall hope so.”Kiara smirked

Just then, Grandma Viti spoke up, “Zara, go see if Arya is in her room. I haven’t seen her since morning.”

“Ok, Mom Zara stood up to leave, but Samara stopped her.

“Aunt, can you check Ved’s room first? I haven’t seen him this morning too. Maybe he’s still sleeping, knowing it’s my wedding today.”

Zara nodded and walked away. Samara and the girls shared a sly smirk, anticipating the chaos that was about to unfold.

Zara climbed the staircase, heading to Ved’s room. She knocked on the door, but there was no response. She decided to open the door and enter, and to her surprise, Ved was still deep in sleep on the bed, covered with a blanket.

Samara and the girls were waiting to hear a loud scream from Zara, but none came. They wondered what was going on.

Zara moved closer to Ved on the bed and tapped him consistently to wake him up. Ved groaned weakly and opened his eyes,

“Mom?” he called out weakly, managing to sit upright on the bed.

“Why are you still sleeping at this time? Don’t you know it’s Karan’s wedding today?” Zara asked, looking at him with concern.

Downstairs, Samara and the girls were looking confused about what was happening. Just then, Arya walked in with Maya, and they were shocked.

“Sorry, I’m late,” Arya said, joining them.

“What happened? Did you sleep late last night?” Grandma Viti asked.

“Yes, granny. Maybe it’s because I was tired.”Arya smiled.

 “Okay, it’s a good thing you’re here.”Roshni smiled.

But Samara and the girls still had the shock on their faces, wondering how their plan had failed.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, Maya had been keeping a close eye on Samara and the girls. Earlier that day, she had overheard their conversation, and her eyes had narrowed with suspicion.

That night, as the drinks were being delivered to Ved and Arya’s rooms, Maya watched with growing unease. She pulled out her phone and started recording, capturing every move they made.

As they carried Arya from her room to Ved’s, Maya followed, her phone still recording. She caught every word of their conversation, her heart racing with anger.

After they left, Maya snuck into Ved’s room and gently lifted Arya off the bed. She carried her back to her own room, laying her down gently on the bed.

She rushed to the kitchen to get Arya a glass of water. She returned to her room, tapping her gently on the shoulder to wake her up. Arya murmured softly, and she helped her sit up, supporting her as she drank the water.

After Arya had drunk enough, She lay her back down, covering her with a blanket. She smiled warmly as she sat down beside her, watching over her as she slept.

Her eyes sparkled with determination. She had evidence of Samara’s plan, and she was going to make sure that justice was served.

The house was buzzing with activity as the wedding preparations for Karan and Samara were in full swing. The sound of laughter, music, and chatter filled the air.

Samara was seated in front of a mirror, surrounded by her friends and family, as they helped her get ready for the big day. Her hair was being styled, and her makeup was being applied.

She looked stunning in her intricately designed wedding lehenga, her eyes shining with excitement and happiness.

Meanwhile, Karan was getting ready in his room, assisted by Rohan and Abhi, who were still recovering from their hangover. Karan looked handsome in his traditional wedding attire, but his eyes seemed distant, his mind elsewhere.

The decorations were being put up, and the caterers were busy preparing the wedding feast. The atmosphere was electric, filled with anticipation and joy.

As the morning progressed, the guests began to arrive, dressed in their finest attire. They were greeted with warm smiles and refreshments, and the excitement continued to build.

The grand wedding hall was filled with friends and family, all gathered to witness the union of Karan and Samara. The priest, dressed in traditional attire, sat at the altar, surrounded by the sounds of gentle chanting and the sweet fragrance of incense.

Karan and Samara were seated on intricately designed thrones, facing the priest. The priest’s hands were clasped together in prayer, his eyes closed as he invoked the blessings of the gods.

As the priest prayed, Karan’s gaze began to wander, his eyes scanning the crowd until they landed on Arya. She was seated in the front row, her eyes cast downward, oblivious to Karan’s gaze.

But Rohan, seated beside Arya, noticed Karan’s distraction. He followed Karan’s gaze to Arya. He could sense the turmoil brewing inside Karan.

The priest’s voice rose and fell in a soothing cadence, but Karan’s attention remained fixed on Arya. His eyes seemed to bore into her, as if willing her to look up and meet his gaze.

But Arya remained unaware, lost in her own thoughts.and Rohan could feel the weight of Karan’s emotions, like a storm brewing on the horizon.

As the priest finished his blessings, Karan reached for the wedding necklace, his hands trembling slightly as he prepared to place it around Samara’s neck.

But just as he was about to do so, a voice rang out, clear and authoritative, stopping the wedding in its tracks.

“Wait!” the voice commanded.

The room fell silent, with all eyes turning to the direction of the voice. Confusion etched on every face, but Samara’s expression was one of shock and horror.

Her eyes widened, and her face paled as she stared at the person who had interrupted the wedding. Her hands began to tremble, and her lips parted as if to speak, but no words came out.

Karan’s eyes narrowed, his grip on the wedding necklace tightening as he turned to face the intruder. The room was electric with tension, the air thick with anticipation.
