How to Make Money on Chaka: Deposit, Trade, Withdraw & Send Stocks (Full Guide 2026)

Many people want to buy foreign stocks but do not know where to start. Chaka makes it easy for you to buy and sell US stocks right from your phone or computer.

In this article, MhiztaEmy will explain how to register on Chaka, how to add money to your account, the smallest amount you can deposit, how to trade like a beginner, how to pull your money out, the least amount you can withdraw, and how to send stocks to another person.

If you have been looking for a simple way to start earning in dollars from Nigeria without stress, this guide will walk you through everything step by step.

Let us jump in.

What is Chaka?

Chaka is a mobile app that lets you invest in foreign stocks. You do not need a US bank account. You do not need to travel abroad. Everything happens from Nigeria. The app is licensed, so your money is safe if you follow the rules.

It gives everyday Nigerians access to global companies and allows you to participate in international markets from the comfort of your home.

How to Register on Chaka (Step by Step)

Follow these steps to open your Chaka account. It takes less than five minutes.

Step 1: Download the App

Go to Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Search for “Chaka”. Look for the green and white logo. Download and install it.

Step 2: Click on Sign Up

Open the app. Click the “Sign Up” button. Enter your email address and a strong password.

Step 3: Verify Your Email

Chaka will send a code to your email. Copy that code and paste it into the app.

Step 4: Fill in Your Personal Details

Type your full name, phone number, and date of birth. Use the same name that is on your government ID.

Step 5: Complete Your KYC

You need to verify your identity. Take a clear picture of your:

· National ID card, or
· International passport, or
· Driver’s license.

Also take a selfie. The app will guide you. Submit everything and wait for approval. Approval takes between a few hours and one business day.

A properly verified account helps prevent delays when funding or withdrawing your money.

How to Add Money to Chaka

After your account is approved, you need to fund it before you can trade. Here is how to add money.

Step 1: Open the Chaka App

Log into your account.

Step 2: Click on “Fund Account”

You will see this button at the bottom or top of your dashboard.

Step 3: Choose Amount

Type how much you want to add.

Step 4: Select Your Bank

Chaka will show you a bank account number and name. This is a special Chaka collection account.

Step 5: Make the Transfer

Go to your bank app. Transfer money to that Chaka account. Use the reference number they give you. Do not forget this step. Without the reference, your money may delay.

Your money will show in your Chaka wallet within 10 to 30 minutes.

Always double-check the details before sending money to avoid unnecessary delays.

Minimum Amount You Can Deposit on Chaka

You do not need a big bag of money to start. The smallest amount you can deposit into Chaka is $5 (five dollars). In naira, that is about N7,500 to N8,000 depending on the exchange rate that day.

This low minimum makes Chaka good for beginners who want to learn without risking too much cash.

It also allows you to test the platform and understand how everything works before committing more funds.

How to Trade on Chaka (Buy and Sell Stocks)

Trading means buying a piece of a company (stock) and later selling it when the price goes up. Here is the simple way.

Step 1: Go to “Trade” or “Markets”

Click the trade tab inside the app.

Step 2: Search for a Stock

Type the name of the company you want. For example:

· Apple (AAPL)
· Tesla (TSLA)
· Amazon (AMZN)

Step 3: Click “Buy”

You will see the current price per share.

Step 4: Enter How Many Shares

Chaka allows you to buy fractional shares. This means you do not need to buy one full share. If one share costs $200, you can buy $10 worth.

Step 5: Confirm Your Order

Check the total cost. Click “Buy” again. Your order will go through in seconds during market hours. If the US market is closed, your order will wait until the market opens.

To sell, click on the stock you own, then click “Sell”, enter the amount, and confirm.

Starting small helps you understand how the market moves before increasing your investment.

How to Withdraw Money from Chaka to Your Bank

When you sell a stock, the money goes to your Chaka wallet. From there you can pull it to your Nigerian bank account.

Step 1: Click “Withdraw”

Find the withdraw button on your dashboard.

Step 2: Enter the Amount

Type how much you want to pull out.

Step 3: Add Your Bank Details

Choose your bank name and enter your account number. Double check. One wrong number and your money will go to the wrong person.

Step 4: Confirm and Submit

Click withdraw. Money usually arrives in 1 to 3 business days. Sometimes same day if you withdraw early in the morning.

Using accurate bank details ensures smooth and successful withdrawals.

Minimum Amount You Can Withdraw from Chaka

The smallest amount you can take out of Chaka is $10 (ten dollars). In naira, that is roughly N15,000 to N16,000. You cannot withdraw $5. Keep this in mind so you do not get stuck with small balance.

If you have less than $10, you can only withdraw after you add more money or make profit from trading.

Planning your trades properly helps you avoid leaving unused funds in your account.

How to Send Stock to Another Person on Chaka

You can transfer stocks you already own to another Chaka user. This is good if you want to give shares as a gift or move your holdings.

Step 1: Go to Your Portfolio

Click on “Holdings” or “Portfolio”.

Step 2: Select the Stock You Want to Send

Tap on the stock name.

Step 3: Look for “Transfer” or “Send”

Click that option. Then select “Send to another Chaka user”.

Step 4: Enter the Person’s Chaka Email or Username

Make sure the name matches exactly.

Step 5: Enter Number of Shares

Type how many shares or fraction of shares you want to send.

Step 6: Confirm

The other person will receive the stock in their account. Note that you cannot send stocks to someone who does not have a Chaka account.

This feature makes it easy to share investments or manage assets between trusted users.

What Else You Need to Know Before Using Chaka

Here are important things that many people miss. Read them so you do not lose money.

Exchange Rate Fluctuation

Chaka converts your naira to dollars. The rate changes daily. If the naira falls, your naira deposit may buy fewer dollars. Plan for this.

Market Hours Matter

The US stock market is open from 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM Nigerian time (Monday to Friday). If you trade outside these hours, your order will wait until the next opening.

Charges You Will Pay

Chaka takes small charges. They call them commissions. For most trades, it is around 0.5% to 1% of your trade value. It is small but not zero.

You Cannot Withdraw to Someone Else’s Bank

The bank account you use for withdrawal must be in your name. Chaka will reject any third-party withdrawal.

Stocks Are Not “Get Rich Quick”

Stock prices go up and down. You can lose money. Only invest what you can forget for a while. Do not use rent money or school fees.

Understanding these factors will help you make smarter decisions and reduce risk.

Final Words From MhiztaEmy

Chaka is a good tool for buying foreign stocks from Nigeria. The registration is fast. Adding money is easy. You can start with as low as $5. Trading takes a few taps. Withdrawal takes one to three days. And you can send stocks to friends.

If you follow the steps in this article, you will not get confused. Just take it one step at a time.

If you are serious about building income in foreign currency and growing your money over time, this is a simple platform to begin your journey.
