It’s been two days since Rex has been lying unconscious. He neither wake up nor move any part of his body and the doctor said he will be fine.
How can he be fine in this condition? I blame myself for all this. He’s struggling to survive all because of me.
” Please wake up Rex, I want to hear you yell at me. Just please wake up for me ” I cried laying on his chest.
His mother’s tears when she got to know won’t stop to make me feel guilty.
” I know you can hear me Rex, remember you said you love me and now you don’t want to wake up to prove that to me ”
” I’m sorry you are going through this because of me, I’m really sorry. Don’t leave me ”
” Roxanne,here you go again ” Adam said sitting beside me while I sniffed
” You have been crying for two days now and you haven’t eaten anything, did you think it’s the best thing to do ? ” He said sighing loudly
” I’m sure he will be fine okay?” He assured me
” Thank you Adam ”
” It’s nothing, here, I brought you something to eat ”
” I.. I’m not hungry ”
” You can’t tell us that sis, you either eat or I feed you ” Zoey said coming inside the ward with Cory
” What are you both doing here? You ought to be in school right?”
” You see sis, today is Saturday ” she replied. How did you expect me to remember that when I have more pressing issues at hand .
” Now eat, he will be fine I promise please. If you don’t eat and you die, what becomes of us?” She asked pouting.
But Truth he told, I don’t feel hungry. How can I be hungry when someone is dieing in my name?
” Please sis” Cory added . I glanced at the three of them. No way out, I just have to eat a little quantity.
” How about Liam? ”
” He went somewhere but will be back soon ” Adam answered
A lot has happened within this few days. With Rex still unconscious wouldn’t give me enough time to think about it. All I want is just to see Rex being okay.
I don’t even know what is happening about Julia, she’s still in the costody of the cops I guess.
The very reason I was afraid of keeping female friends, it happened that the only one I made friends with almost killed me.
Up till now, I haven’t had the chance to ask them how they found where I was but I’m grateful. What could I have done without this very crew ?

Julia was so foolish to have been caught and she will have to bear the consequences all by herself without involving me unless she wants her loved ones dead .
The fact that my first plan doesn’t work won’t make me give up on getting Roxanne killed. Like I said, I won’t have internal peace when I know she’s still alive.
She might find out the truth and everything I laboured for will be in vain. I have to kill her before anything happens.
I will use her weakness against her that she will have no option than to bring herself to me.
Death is what she deserves. If I can kill her parents then she doesn’t merit anything. And yes! The people she thought are her parents aren’t her parents.
She began living with them after I killed her parents and it was difficult finding her after then. Now that I find her, maybe it’s time to say Hi to her parents especially her father my brother.
Roxanne is a threat to me, she kept escaping my wrath each time I tried but this time around. I will make sure I nail it .
Before I can enjoy this beautiful world, Roxanne won’t live.
If not as that idiot saved her, she’d be dead by now .
When I get to her this time around, she won’t survive it. There will be no lover or friends to save her.
What she loves most is what I shall take to get her…….

” I know you can hear me Rex, I miss our fights. I miss those times you yell at me just to get at me and I miss those wonderful days we spent together, wake up please. You can’t lay there forever. Just wake up for your Foxy please ”
That familiar voice belongs to only one person. Roxanne! That was her, I guess she’s crying because I heard her sniff.
I wish I could just stand up and give her a warm hug.
” You know what Rex, I love you now and forever ” she added chuckling to herself while her tears fell on my hand she was holding.
My heart felt so good, did she mean what she said? God! I wish to see her right now…
It was like my body was stiff, I couldn’t move any part of my body.
I tried opening my eyes on a failed attempt.
Giving it one more try, my eyes slowly opened.
Her head was placed on my hand, I think she’s feeling sleepy.
” R.. Roxy ” I managed to call with my hand clutched to my stomach. It hurts so badly .
” R… Roxanne ” I called again and her head snapped up immediatetly. I wanted to smile but couldn’t, the pain in my stomach will only increase.
” Oh my goodness Rex you are awake ” she shouted in excitement.
She jumped up and landed on top of me. …. Don’t tell me she’s still clumsy. …
” Ouch ” I winced.
” I. ..I am so sorry Rex, I didn’t mean to worsen the pain ” she said fearfully while I forced a smile.
I can’t deny it that I love this girl.
” How are you feeling? Does it still hurt much? I thought I was going to loose you, I’m sorry you have to go through this for me, I don’t know I’m….. ” I placed my index finger on her lips to stop her from talking.
She’s talking too much.
” Will you help me up and stop talking?” I said playfully while she nodded …
” My stomach, ouch ” I winced sitting on the bed.
” Sorry Rex, sorry ” she said glancing at me fully confused on what to do ….
” I’m happy you are awake now, I almost went insane ” she said
” Did you mean what you said while I was unconscious?” I blurted while she furrowed her brows
” What?” She asked.
” That you love me now and forever ” I said and her face reddened in embarrassment. She threw her face away smiling. She meant it, that’s it . Oh my goodness!
I began laughing forgetting my stomach is still hurting….
Ouch!
The thought of knowing someone is after Roxanne’s life niggled at me. Who wants her dead? Why?
What if I hadn’t saved her, she’d be killed? I believe Julia was sent, she doesn’t have any reason to want Roxanne dead.
The first thing I will do when I get out of here is to find who’s after her life. I will make sure the person suffers the same pain.
” Roxanne ” I called taking her hands into mine.
” I know I have messed up a big time and I feel guilty for everything I have done in the past ”
” Right now, I don’t want to hear anything that happened between you and Marcus. I believe it was my wrong assumptions. Please forgive me and let’s come back together again, I’m deeply sorry ”
