★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

“What really happened twenty years ago?” Lucia’s question made the air hang as their jars lowered from their lips, and their eyes stuck—like two dashes of thunder in a rain cloud.

“First day of alliance, and you’re already demanding for it?” Ares’s seductive almond eyes went still.

Lucia stepped closer again.

An inch separated them before, but now it’s barely a breath. He could feel her eyes staring into his soul, and his own eyes bored into her eyeballs.

This close, he was breathless.

He’s the same man who has never gotten wounded by the sword of another person, but all it took for him to lose breaths was her closeness?

Hell.

“You promised that once we formed alliance, you’d tell me every truth. Now that we formed it, I see no reason for your holding back. Are you going back on your words?” She glared, gaze piercing.

“You’re overthinking, Xia-Mei,” he leaned forward.

Their faces nearly collided, and this close, he could smell her jasmine in his bones. “We’re in a fountain behind the Palace of Darkness. It’s not a spot for talking. Meet me tonight, and we’ll have a long talk.”

“I’m not daft, Ares. I know you have a mission to kill a businessman tonight.” She sneered.

“When did killing start taking all night?” Ares smiled. “I’ll be done in an hour, and at the third hour of the night, I’ll meet you at Lotus Inn.”

“You better keep to time,” Lucia’s face drew back, killing the tension.

She stepped out of the mountain, steps fading as she climbed up the rock, jumping down the other side.

Ares looked at the fountain pool, dipping his hands inside and scooping out some of the water, bringing it to his nose to smell.

It still smells like her.

Of course it would.

She lingers wherever she steps.

An insane grin took over his lips, cracking through his throat and rising up the fountain to curl.

The game is starting.

—

[Duan Residence]

When Enya’s mother—Odessa, got home, she met just her daughter.

Enya sat balled up on the outer hall chair, looking diseased.

No single tassel in her hair. Her robe is rumpled—not ironed like it always it. It’s shocking for someone who’s big about dressing up always.

“Enya!” Odessa rushed in, reaching for her, but before she could touch, Enya spranged up, avoiding it.

“Enya—

“Don’t touch me with your defiled hands!!!” She yelled crazily, looking repulsed. “I was there, father was there, and Princess Ina was there when you were getting hammered by His Majesty! You were moaning, mother. You said you loved his c+k! You’re a mother—my mother. How could you!!”

“You’re misunderstanding,” Odessa shook her head. “I was ordered to moan! His Majesty told me to moan! Don’t act like you don’t know about his insane demands! My head was at stake and I didn’t want to die!”

“Stop lying!!!” Enya screamed, bratty and disturbing. She pushed down a hall table. “Stop lying to my face!!”

“I’m not lying!!!!” Odessa yelled desperately, nearly losing her voice. “I was ordered to moan or I’d be killed and you’d be killed too!”

“What!” Enya’s eyes widened.

“You’re well aware that I can’t let anything threaten your existence, so I had to moan to save your life!”

Enya fell on the floor, landing on her butt. Her tears fell.

“How could His Majesty do that? Now, Ina doesn’t even want to see me anymore! I don’t want to lose our friendship! The other official daughters in the city give me more respect cos I’m the Princess’s only friend, but now…what am I going to do!!!” She cried loudly.

Odessa knelt beside her quickly, holding her face.

“We’ll find a way to stabilize your friendship with the Princess, trust me. There has to be a way.”

Enya was silent for a beat, then a sour look of contempt took over her face very quick.

“Lucia,” she sniffled, getting up. “If that bi+ch had just agreed to suck His Majesty’s c+k in court, this wouldn’t have happened. It’s all her fault.”

“Now you’re actually saying the truth. I wouldn’t be defiled if she had done her whoring job.” Odessa scoffed.

“I know what to do, mother. Wait for good news.” Enya promised and entered her room to dress up properly. Then, she left the house.

Odessa’s fake regretful expression left her face immediately.

As she watched her daughter leaving, her pride returned in folds.

Her p+xy is still sore.

She needs some ice block down there and a fresh tub bath.

What Kai couldn’t do in years, Emperor Bones did it in one night. It was a s+x marathon, and the gods knows it was the best s+x ever.

The way he handled her rough and kept releasing on the face of her hole, certain that the liquid wouldn’t penetrate. But who was he kidding?

She’s as fertile as a pig, and she also took foetus-retaining drug before leaving for the Palace, so if even a little entered her during the poundings, she’d get pregnant.

And she’s sure she’s going to get pregnant. Who else would carry His Majesty’s rightful heir if not her?

She should throw a party.

While Kai is busy with unconscious Edwin at the brothel, she’ll be here.

“Any maid out there!?” She shouted in a relaxed tone, and two of them rushed inside the room.

“Mix my bath in the tub, and prepare a table of nutritious meals for me.” She ordered tiredly.

“Yes, Madame.” They chorused.

—

[Jade Brothel – Top Room]

“No one saw the assassins?” Minister Kai asked for the umpteenth time as he stared at Edwin’s unconscious, deeply wounded body in bed.

The brothel Madame isn’t around. Only courtesans are in the room.

Edwin has been attended to by the physician. His waking up now depends solely on his will to live.

“We saw the assassins,” the courtesans responded. “But they masked up, and even when they talked, their voices were muffled by their facecloths so we couldn’t make out the voice owners.”

“But they fought too professionally. Their moves were scary. We peeped at the fight from the bathroom door hole, and we saw how they were taking turns to tear Minister Edwin with their weapons. It was like….”

“Like what?” Kai looked up questioningly with bunched brows.

“Like they were playing with his life. They fought him to hurt him, not to actually kill him. I feel like they know Minister Edwin personally, they weren’t hired to kill him.”

Kai frowned at the revelation, and Dakota entered the room, gallantly.

Kai followed him out.

“I reported the bodies we found in the woods to His Majesty. They’re gold merchants from the east, so he told me to arrange a mass burial for them and just continue with my investigations.” Dakota reported.

“That definitely sounds like him. A mindless beast.” Kai replied, staring at the bird-shaped wind chime dangling on that balcony.

“What are you going to do about your wife?” Dakota asked, the hard planes on his face refusing to soften.

“What would I possibly do?” Kai grunted. “In this game, I’d sacrifice anyone to show His Majesty my loyalty to him. I handpicked you as the Minister of Security for a reason we both know.” Kai faced him.

“If Enya can’t become the future Empress by marrying the exiled Prince Fadey, then Edwin has to become the future Emperor.”

“I know, and I’m working towards that goal with you.” Dakota nodded.

“That’s why you need to catch Horror and Calamity soon and give me accolades so I can gain more favor with His Majesty. If I’m going to win over that smart beast, I’m going to have to get him to rely on me instead of his Shadow Ministers.” Kai said.

“Those two aren’t easy to tail,” Dakota sighed. “I’ve been keeping an eye on them since I entered court, but they’re like salted fishes. It’s almost like they have a veil protecting them.” Dakota sighed, looking back into the room where Edwin is laying.

“What? You think they did this to Edwin?” Kai asked

“It’s not totally impossible,” Dakota looked at Kai. “We have no idea what their ambitions are, but we both know they hate Edwin.”

“How about you focus on taking down Ares alone?” Kai said. “I’ll focus on making His Majesty hate Lucia. That should be enough to end her life. His Majesty’s hate is murderous.”

“Sure,” Dakota looked away. “But do you have any idea what actually happened twenty years ago?”

Kai hasn’t answered when the courtesans inside rushed out.

“Minister Edwin is awake!”

Kai turned to go in…

“You should know your daughter Enya is on her way to my Killers Academy to hire fighters right now. I think she wants to go after Lucia.” Dakota quickly said.

Then he left by jumping up the roof, and Kai entered the room to see Edwin trying hard to sit up.

“Stay down, clown!” Kai rushed to his side, pushing him down.

Edwin’s sickly eyes closed, and he coughed twice, grabbing his chest before opening his eyes.

“It’s them! The shadows. Th….they did this to me!” He panted.

“The courtesans said they were two males!” Kai glared.

Edwin glared back, groaning at the pangs of his aching body.

“I know you think I’m a senseless clown, but at least I know how to feel, and I know what I felt! Lucia and Ares did this to me!”

Kai’s face rumpled.

—

[Fenxi Empire, Spring Palace]

“You arrived so early this morning it’s suspicious. Are you sure you reached there?” Princess Ruyi said with deeply arched brows, giving her younger brother a suspicious stare.

They’re sitting across each other on a round table in the open room with variety of fruits on the table between them and few maids around.

“I went with the fastest horse. It’s totally normal that I arrive fast.” Zaine frowned seriously. “But I was nearly caught this time.”

“Tell me the ‘nearly’ didn’t turn to actually!” Ruyi gasped.

“Don’t you trust me?” Zaine threw his head back. “Darn it, I’m tired of your questions. Why do you even make me do this without mother and father’s knowledge?”

“Cos I’m a warrior Princess, and while everyone is working towards protecting this Empire, I should contribute my quota too. Watch how I help the Empire in the future.” Ruyi folded her arms across her chest.

“Whatever, did they catch the spy that allowed my crush into this Empire yet?” Zaine asked.

“Nope, but father is currently setting a trap to get whoever it is. Wait….”

Ruyi’s face went bitter. “Did you just call Lucia Valmont your crush?”

“Of course! She has always been!” Zaine raised his shoulders.

“Tell me, what other woman has her aura in Zura Empire and our own Fenxi Empire combined? Now don’t act like my crush on her started today. I’ve liked her since I saw a kid. Instead of hating Lucia, just hate the Void Emperor who she works for”

“You’re highly disgusting,” Ruyi stood. “But don’t cry too much when I finally kill her. I’m going to the armies camp to watch the trainings.”

She left the room, her footsteps receding till it faded.

Zaine took out the drawing of Lucia’s face from his pocket.

He had stolen it from Ruyi without her knowledge just now.

He spread it open on the table, smiling hard as he stared, tracing every part of Lucia’s pretty heroic face with his fingers.

[Zura Empire, Void Palace – Empress Sally’s Hall]

Sally has stopped crying.

Now, she sat on a chair in her hall, eyes free of any emotion—free of redness. She’s back to normal.

She’s even dressed up properly.

After the humiliation ritual last night, she decided to snap back like nothing happened. Even when the news of her humiliation is flying around the streets of Somara and cites of Zura, she won’t let it get to her.

Her hair was getting brushed by two maids, and another two were setting jewels on her heavy robe when Princess Ina entered alone.

She stopped by the door when she saw what was going on, surprised that her mother has stopped wailing.

“Are you going to continue standing there?” Sally asked.

Ina moved forward, and the maids left the hall for privacy.

“You were still crying when I left you earlier. I’m just surprised you look fine now.” Ina sat beside her.

“Bones has done worse, and if I decide to cry all day, it won’t change what happened. She already slept with Odessa, and I’ve already been humiliated.” Sally sighed.

“Enya has to stay away from me from now on. I can’t believe her mother was moaning like a whore.” Ina muttered hatefully.

“His Majesty told her to moan.” Sally replied immediately.

“You don’t hate Odessa? You don’t hate Enya?” Ina asked.

“I have bigger fishes to fry with my time than hating on those two roaches.” Sally relaxed.

“Important things like?” Ina asked.

“I can’t suffer this constant humiliation for nothing, Ina. An Empress can rule an Empire too, so in the future, yuu must become the ruling Empress of this place, meaning I have to take the elimination of Fadey serious, and I have to make sure Odessa isn’t pregnant, or I’ll end her too.” Sally explained aptly.

“How are you going to get to Fadey and his stupid mother in the pathless dessert though?” Ina asked.

“Leave that to my guards. They’ll find their way.” Sally faced her. “How’s your husband? I still don’t feel good about that bastard.”

“He igno—”

Ina nearly talked about how Ares ignored her this morning, but she sucked it up quickly.

“He’s sweet to me, mother. You don’t have to worry.” She smiled.

Whatever is taking his time, she’ll find out by herself and clear it.

—

[Imperial Dining Hall]

Royally designed with gold and pearls and jade just like the rest of the Palace buildings, this place looks like a dinning area for the gods.

Bones considers himself a god anyways.

This is where Emperor Bones eats his meals—alone.

He only eats with Sally and Ina on special occasions like the Dragon Festival, Annual Anniversary,

Or New Years Ceremony.

On normal days like this, he’s alone.

After the plowing he did to Odessa last night, he’s famished, so has to fill his stomach. The maidservants are currently setting the table, and he’s staring at a small book.

It has the name of the businessman he told Ares to go kill tonight, and his sin is; He’s too prosperous.

Bones hates people who are too prosperous.

To him, they’re working too hard.

They’re trying to get richer than him.

And that’s improper.

He dropped the book after the maidservants finished setting the table, and he swept a look at the colourful breakfast.

At his order, the maids ate the meals, one by one. They ate every meal.

He waited ten minutes after they tasted it, then food testers came to test for poisoning too.

After the no poison comfirmation, he finally began eating the meals.

His father died of food poisoning from the hands of Ares’s mother and Lucia’s father. He’s not going to die like his father died, so he’s always skeptical about food and water.

The maids left the hall, letting him eat alone in silence.

[Valmont Residence]

“It’s the cheap sales day!!” Doja shouted, jumping down the front steps with her hands up in the air and her little herbal bag in hand

On the last day of every week like today, herbs vendors in the marketplace sell things cheaply, so she always participates in the sales.

She left Phoebe asleep inside the house and rushed out cheerfully.

As if she was being watched, few minutes after she left, Enya appeared in front of the house with few fighters from Killers Academy.

With her right hand rested on her waist bracket, she pointed her left hand at the house.

“Get the mother of the bî+ch!”

The fighters rushed inside.

—

Doja believes in smelling herbs to test for potency before buying them.

Her nose recognizes original, so she went from one herbal stall to another, sniffling the herbs and bagging the potent ones, paying from her strings of copper coins.

She was removing three coins from her string to pay for another herb when she was suddenly knocked down by a strange guy.

Her coins scattered around with her herbal bag. Her palms peeled.

The guy didn’t even stop.

She quickly stood and rushed to meet up, pulling him back.

“People apologize when they knock people down. Apologize to me!” She demanded hurtfully.

“Go die!” The guy shook her off easily.

Her tiny body nearly hit the ground again, but she was caught gently around her shoulders by a large arm which steadied her.

Immediately the mean guy saw the face of the person, he gasped.

“Gen…eral?”

Doja slowly looked up too, and the sunshine filtered in, brushing the face of the most handsome man she has ever laid her eyes on.

She has only been hearing about the General of Zura, she hadn’t seem him, till now.

Lothar Draven.

“You good?” Lothar asked softly, but she couldn’t even answer.

She’s lost staring at his face.

How is he so handsome?

No wonder people say the only person who can hold a candle to Ares Hellion’s handsomeness is his best friend Lothar Draven.

It’s so true.

The mean guy didn’t even wait for Lothar to talk further. He quickly fell on his knees, apologizing.

“Forgive me, General. I shouldn’t have shoved her without apologizing! I’m so sorry!” He begged.

And that seemed to take Doja out of her stare. She stepped on his head vengefully, shoving him too.

He crawled off.

“Are you fine?” Lothar asked again.

“Oh…” Doja blushed. “I’m…I’m….

She stuttered so bad, even after he let go of her shoulders.

“I have somewhere to be urgently,” Lothar pulled a silver ingot out of his robe pocket and placed it on her palm. “Go to any hospital and get your palm treated, Miss.”

With that, he rushed off.

Doja stood there, admiring his back view and squeezing the silver in her palm till he disappeared into the crowd of market people.

—

Lothar received an invite from Lucia for a talk, that’s why he had to leave the camp in a rush and come for the talk. He’s so curious.

But seeing the girl who got knocked down, his lateness meant nothing. He helped her and continued his way.

However, it seems he’s cursed to really run late cos someone bumped into him suddenly.

He had to quickly sidestep.

“I’m very sorry!” The lady apologized.

He opened his mouth to say it’s fine, but it turned out to be a fairy he hadn’t seen before.

There’s a beauty like this in Zura?

He must have been so occupied with his General duties and the Emperor’s tyrannical requests that he hadn’t noticed her before till now.

“I’m sorry, General Sir.” The lady smiled a bit and disappeared into the crowd, leaving him dazed.

He stood there like an idiot, but then he looked back. She’s gone.

He reluctantly continued his journey, and when the crowd reduced in that area, the face of the bumper showed.

It’s Qui.

Her long bow is worn around her body like a belt bag, and her arrows are in a narrow quiver behind her.

She ate a red apple in the crowd.

“Where were you, miscreant!” Meng appeared, looking angry. “I’ve been looking for you!”

“I’ve been here, eating. Can’t you see?” Qui shrugged.

Meng hissed, leaving her.

“Gawd, I hate your temper!” Qui threw off the apple, following her. “We we’re supposed to meet Falcon and Limon, remember? Meng!”

—

[Lotus Inn]

Since it’s nearing dark, and Ares planned to meet her here, Lucia decided to kill two birds with a stone, so she invited Lothar here too.

She sat with her cup of rice wine which she’s forcing herself to drink for the show. She’ll vomit it later.

She’s not veiled, but the room is private, so she’s alone, taping the table with her fingertips till Lothar entered the room.

“Late by two minutes,” she said as he sat gracefully in front of her.

“First, I had to save a girl who was knocked down by a mean guy. Second, a beauty bumped into me. It can’t be my fault.” He said stiffly.

“I wanted to ask why you weren’t offended when I lied with your name in court.” She went straight to point.

“You knew I would help you, that’s why you boldly said my name, isn’t it?” Lothar placed his deer-skin-wrapped forearms on the table.

“You still didn’t answer my question,” Lucia replied curtly.

“You wouldn’t possibly say Ares’s name because you both aren’t even talking, so you said mine. Ares has been trying to get words out of you for years, so as his friend, it’s normal to help the woman my friend is trying to talk to. Call it bro code.” Lothar explained.

“You must go way back with him,” Lucia continued pressing, eyes giving nothing away.

“We go way back as childhood friends. I’ve known him long before the tragedy of your families happened.” Lothar nodded.

Lucia drank from her cup.

“Must be hard living without salary, drinking cheap rice wine and all…” Lothar commented. “I’ll order some plum wine for us.”

But before he could even order, a voice came outside.

“Miss Lucia! Miss Lucia!!”

“Doja?” Lucia stood, her ears picking Doja’s voice and the urgency in it.

“I’ll be right back,” she told Lothar and rushed out of the room.

She intentionally told Doja she was coming here to meet Lothar, so it’s not a surprise she found her here.

“Doja?” She found her rounding the ground floor.

Doja looked up, and in a breath, she rushed up the staircase, panicky.

“Miss, I went for the market herbal sales, but when I returned home, your mother wasn’t there!”

“What!” Lucia’s eyes slimmed.

“Then I met this note in her bed!” Doja gave her the note.

★ Unbridled main River. Come get your mother, có+k sucker.

Lucia tore out of the inn, literally.

Her legs worked fast, but her brain worked faster. Who could be behind this? Did Edwin somehow regained consciousness and found out she’s behind his attack?

Can’t be.

And it can’t be Kai.

It can’t be Bones.

So….

It refused to click.

She’ll just have to see for herself.

She ran into her residence, jumping once on top of her horse.

“Go!” She pulled the reins tight

With a energetic neigh, the horse tore a race out of the house, running past Doja in the streets.

—

[Noblesville of Somara]

This part of the city is where the rich noblemen live. Castles, huge manors, islands and whatnot.

This place is the hive and hub of it.

It’s two hours into nighttime, and inside one of the huge manors, a businessman just finished taking his bath. He was whistling a tune with his mouth as he came out of the bathroom in his p+nts.

Strangely, the lanterns inside his bedroom are all out.

Didn’t he leave them on before entering the bathroom?

“Why are the lanterns off?!” He called out in the dark, expecting his maids to rush in and rectify it immediately.

But it never happened,, and that set his suspicions on the wheels.

He never had to talk twice before his maids appeared.

What’s happening?

Quickly, he located the door with his hands and stepped out to the open room to meet carnage.

He screamed out till his voice echoed around the area.

Bodies of his maids and trained guards lay around on top of each other, bloody and dead.

Dead in cold blood with deathly stab wounds decorating their skin.

The man fell on the pool of blood, wanting to scream again as the calamity choked him, but his screams was held back when he saw the visitor sitting on his center chair.

His bloody sword is on the table, and he’s too relaxed like this is his house.

He wore a cape which has a loose hood, and the hood is worn savagely over his head, but some strands of his hair peeked out of the hood, including tiny threads of white hair.

Ares has always had few beautiful strands of white hair since birth, but he hates it, so he always combed it to the middle of his hair to hide it, but on shadow missions like this, he lets the white strands show.

This is like a different part of him—unapologetic and standoffish.

He stared darkly at the man under his hood. The blood of the maids and guards he killed stained the left side of his his neck slightly.

As the candles lit his face, the man choked again. “Ares?”

“Someone once said knowing the name of your killer is a guarantee that you’ll cross the river easily. Happy deathday, big man.” Ares stood, wanting to grab his sword and finish what he came for…

“The Emperor hates madly successful people, so I knew he was coming for me!” The man shouted. “But sending the son of a traitor to kill me? It’s so funny!” He laughed suddenly.

Ares stilled.

“Your mother was so in love with Emperor Bones father, and Lucia’s father was in love with your mother! It was a chaotic love triangle which shattered the Empire. Mulan was hurt that her love was unrequited, and Ren your father was angry about it too, so they both colluded and killed the Emperor. That’s what everyone knows, but I heard it’s not the truth of the tragedy…”

Ares’s eyes twisted, churned.

“No one knows the real truth, not even me. Till you die, you and that wench Lucia will never find out the truth! You personally will die knowing your father is a px+y slave!!!” The man screamed mindlessly again.

His last words by the way, cos Ares descended on him instantly, neglecting the sword.

He threw salacious punches at his face. Blows. Blows. Blows.

It didn’t stop.

Blood bursted on the man’s face. Jaws cracked, gapped, separated.

Screams muffled to choky noises. Laughter turned to grunts.

Ares’s punched are destructive—too heavy. Too loaded. Too powerful.

Too much.

Each of it made the man’s life slip …

Thin…

Shrink…

Two teeth flew off.

Three flew off.

Four….

His lips tattered, his eyes protruded out of the sockets.

With fury and rage and mad anger, Ares punched, served.

He didn’t make a sound. It’s like the energy of the punches he’s throwing isn’t coming from him.

Like taking the man’s life is a boring chore he just wants to get over with.

Blood and torn flesh stained his fist, and one of the man’s plucked tooth even hooked in his knuckle.

By the time he let him go, his body landed on the floor lifelessly.

Such a brutal death.

Ares walked over his body, out of the room… out of the house…

Out of the manor surroundings.

As he stepped into the streets, as the spring breeze hit him, he unfolded his fists, blood dripped off his fingers.

The blood of the man.

The teeth is still hooked in his knuckle, but he doesn’t feel it.

He doesn’t feel the air too.

No one knows the real truth of that tragedy. It’s like someone is somewhere, desperately keeping it from spilling out, but he’s here, searching and desperately too.

No one knows.

He entered Lotus Inn, stepping into the private room.

He expected to meet Lucia waiting, but she’s not here.

His eyes scanned the room.

She’s not here.

—

[Dark Woods]

Ares and Lucia met twice by the flowing rocky part of Unbridled River already, but the note she saw indicated that she’s to come to the main river where the flow stops at.

Her horse hoofs dug the ground, sounding as urgent as her quest as she rode through the forest, getting light from the moonlit sky.

She doesn’t have an answer to the culprit yet. She’s going to have to wait to see for herself.

And she received an answer shortly.

Few inches before she’d get to the main river, she saw her.

She stood inside a boat in the river, smiling confidently.

Enya.

Her leg is placed on Phoebe’s head. Phoebe is laying in the boat.

“Welcome here, có+k sucker!” She waved her hand.

“Enya!” Lucia gritted, seeing what was going on.

But then a crash came above her, and the multiple sling sounds of blades.

Trap!

Lucia leapt off her horse, rolling clean in the air and getting a sharp glimpse of the view above her before flinging herself to the ground.

The net fell on her horse instead, trapping the horse, and the several coming blades rammed into the horse’s body, killing it on spot.

With a painful cry, the horse rolled with the net, shrieking and kicking.

Seeing her escape, Enya poured tung oil around the boat, and she set fire on it with Phoebe inside.

Lucia jumped.

The goal is to get her mother out of that boat. Knife in hand, she cut through branches and leaves.

Legs on trees and ankles wrapping around flexible stems.

In the air, she looks like a Phoenix, and just when she was about to land down beside the river, the fighters from Killers Academy emerged.

More than hundred of them.

She was blocked, and the fight had to happen as her knife caught the blinding flash of moonlight.

She glided.

They came with sharp weapons, but her knife was enough.

She used the shadows of the leave.

She hid and emerged when they least expect, catching them unawares.

Knife on a throat, slicing through a stomach, cutting intestines and digging into the chest of one of them.

She rounded the hole on that chest with her knife and dug out his heart.

His blood sprayed the leaves and tree barks, and as she leapt to the air again, they leapt with her, but there are levels to the air fight.

She stabbed one in the middle of his head, cracking out his brain. The next one received numerous stabs in the middle of his back, and she pulled out his backbone singlehandedly.

They fought. She killed.

They scratched. She killed.

They added numbers. She killed.

Her black-red robe swayed, ponytail swinging, knife ruthless.

As she killed, she’s watching the burning boat with the corner of her eyes. The fire will soon get to her mother. She has to get there.

The seventieth body dropped under her from the slash of her knife, and a punch from nowhere suddenly met her right hand wrist—exactly on the burnt mark that’s there.

It sent pains to her skull, and her head seemed to crack.

Enya laughed from the waters. “Your weakness isn’t hidden anymore, c+k sucker. You should have just sucked his Majesty’s c+k! How dare you make my mother climb his bed!”

Lucia twisted, her back meeting violently with a tree as the pains from her wrist to her skull persisted.

She roared, mightily.

Her voice shook the forest, but despite the pain and blood that bloomed from the wound, she moved, to Enya’s surprise.

With her long knife, she hacked the head of the next killer, and she threw the head at the river.

The impact of the head made water splash generously into the boat, putting out the fire.

Enya angrily poured the remaining tung oil on Phoebe’s body. She picked the matchbox to light a stick.

Lucia leapt, again.

She touched a branch with the tip of her shoes, wanting to tumble into the river and use herself as the water splash agent, but that was when a sword came flying to the scene.
