NIGERIAN POPSTAR, DAVIDO AND HIS RECORD LABEL, DAVIDO MUSIC WORLDWIDE HAS BEEN DRAGGED TO COURT OVER A N4m Fraud Claims.
Popular Nigerian singer, Adeleke David aka Davido, his personal assistant, Busari Idris Temitiope aka Aloma, and record label Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) has been dragged to court for fraud.
The case which is tabled against Igbosere Magistrate Court 2, Lagos State has in claims that the singer and his record label fraudulently received the sum of N4m from an American based Nigerian born upcoming artist Andre – Tejiri Ochuko Ibhihwiori and his label, Always on Cash Records.
The payment was for a collaboration between Andre and Davido back in January but didn’t happen.
The matter has now been adjourned to the ”23rd of august 2019” for report of service and commencement of trial.When the case was called up for mentioning on the 23rd of May, 2019, Davido, his P. A, and record label were no where to be found and weren’t represented by lawyers also.
