Milton walked into the house, limping and groaning in pain. He closed the door and dragged himself to the couch. Dropping heavily onto it, he leaned back and slammed his head against the cushion in frustration.

Linda, who was breastfeeding the baby, glanced at him and shook her head.
“What happened to you? Why are you like that?” she asked.

Milton looked at her with an annoyed expression.
“Why are you even asking me? Can’t you see I’m in pain?”

Linda rolled her eyes.
“So why didn’t you tell Anna about us? I thought you said you were going to.”

“I was going to, but not now. You ruined everything. Why would you tell her about us?” he snapped.

“What was I supposed to do? Keep lying and hiding like it means nothing? I was tired, Milton. That’s why I told her everything,” Linda replied, frustrated.

Milton scoffed in disbelief.
“And yet, you told her I said you were my cousin. Why lie like that? Why didn’t you tell the whole truth?”

“And what exactly did you want me to say?” Linda shot back. “Sometimes I can’t believe you. You’re such a weak man. You cheated on Anna with me for a long time. Don’t act like I did it alone,,you were part of it too.”

She stood up, adjusting her top and holding the baby closer.
“I’m done talking about Anna. I’m going to take a nap,” she muttered as she walked away.

Milton sank deeper into the couch, his mind flashing back to Anna’s heartbroken face. He let out a frustrated sigh.

“F+k, Anna… I love you,” he whispered. “I don’t know what got into me. I really don’t.”

✨At Joyce’s House✨

Ana parked her car in front of the gate. She looked up at Joyce’s window and saw the glowing lights—it meant she was still awake. Ana wiped away a tear that rolled down her cheek. Right now, she just needed her friend. Joyce was the only one who could make her feel better. Ana took out her phone from her handbag and dialed Joyce’s number.

—

Inside Joyce’s house

Joyce m0aned and gasped as Ali slid his c+k deep inside her. His hand tangled in her hair while his tongue shoved into her mouth, kissing her hard as his hips moved in and out.

“Ahh… baby, f+k,” Joyce cried out just as her phone started ringing.

Her toes curled, her pussy clenching tight around him. She could feel her org@sm building, her whole body trembling as soft whimpers escaped her lips.

Ali groaned, his chest heaving with desire. He loved the way her body gripped him, hot and wet, almost pulling him deeper every time he thrust. The sound of her m0ans drove him crazy, and he wanted to keep going, to push her over the edge, but the sudden ringing broke his rhythm.

“Oh… god… my phone,” Joyce gasped, her voice shaky. She stretched her hand to the bedside table, grabbed the phone, and answered it.

“Joy…” Ana’s voice came through the other side. Joyce looked at Ali, her mouth still slightly open from the pleasure.

“It’s Ana… I have to take this,” she whispered.

Ali groaned in frustration and slowly pulled out of her, his c+k throbbing, wet with her arousal.

“Are you okay?” Joyce asked Ana, trying to steady her breath.

“I’m… outside the gate. I can just leave if you’re busy.”

“No, I’m opening the gate for you. Don’t leave,” Joyce said quickly, getting off the bed.

Ali stepped out of the bathroom, sulking and annoyed, clearly upset their love-making had been interrupted.

Joyce walked to him and kissed his lips. “Ana is here. She doesn’t sound okay. You can stay if you want… or leave.”

“I’ll leave,” he muttered, pecking her lips. “Ana is such a cock blocker.”

Joyce only sighed and walked out of the room. She opened the door for Ana and hugged her tightly before they went inside together, both silent.

Joyce handed Anna a glass of water, watching her closely as she drank. Her hands were trembling. Her eyes were red and her face flushed. Something was clearly wrong.

After taking a few sips, Anna let out a deep breath and leaned back against the couch, closing her eyes briefly.

“Anna, are you okay?” Joyce asked, her voice full of concern.

Anna sighed before slowly opening her eyes. A tear slipped down her cheek. Without hesitation, Joyce pulled her in for a warm hug, holding her tightly.

“Anna, please… you’re scaring me. What’s going on? Why are you crying?”

“I don’t know what to do, Joyce,” Anna whispered. “Maybe I should’ve listened to you. That time when you told me to stay away… I should’ve. I shouldn’t have gone back.”

She buried her face into Joyce’s shoulder, her voice cracking.

“What do you mean? What happened?” Joyce asked, her heart pounding.

Anna took a shaky breath. “You were right… about everything. I went to see ,, He hadn’t been talking to me for a while, so I decided to show up at his place. And when I got there… Linda opened the door. She was holding a baby.”

Joyce froze. Her expression darkened.

“What?” she said through clenched teeth.

Anna nodded and continued,.

Joyce listened in stunned silence as Anna explained everything. Her fists clenched with every word.

“That bastard,” Joyce spat. “How could he do this to you? We should go beat the hell out of him right now.”

Anna shook her head. “I don’t even have the energy. I broke up with him, Joyce. I told him I’m done.”

“Are you sure? Really sure this time?” Joyce asked, still fuming.

“I promise. I’m so done. He lied to me, betrayed me… and with Linda, of all people. If it had been someone else, maybe I could’ve forgiven him. But her? No.They have child together? I can’t.”

Joyce’s eyes filled with anger. “A baby?”

“Yes,” Anna said, wiping her tears. “He’s probably three months old. I didn’t even look properly. I was too shocked, too hurt.”

Joyce placed a hand on her shoulder. “It’s okay, Anna. That man doesn’t deserve your tears. And Linda? The day I see her again, I swear get her fired—”

“You can’t do that,” Anna cut in softly.

Joyce rolled her eyes. “I can, and I will. No one hurts you and walks away like it’s nothing.”

Anna looked down at her hands, her fingers twisting the hem of her shirt. “I just feel so stupid. I gave him everything, Joyce. My time, my trust… my heart. And he was building a family behind my back.”

Joyce sat beside her, still holding her shoulder. “No, Anna. You’re not stupid. You’re human. You loved him. You believed in him. That’s not weakness—it’s strength. It’s him who’s the coward.”

Anna sniffled, letting out a bitter laugh. “Strength? Then why do I feel so broken inside?”

“Because heartbreak doesn’t come with a warning. It crashes down like a wave, and we have to learn how to swim through it.”

Anna leaned her head on Joyce’s shoulder. “It hurts, Joyce. It hurts so much. And I keep asking myself… what did I do wrong?”

“You didn’t do anything wrong,” Joyce said firmly. “He’s the one who wasn’t man enough to be honest with you. He lied, cheated, and hid a whole child. That says everything about him—not about you.”

Silence settled for a moment before Anna whispered, “I saw how she looked at me… smug, like she’d won. Like I was the fool.”

Joyce’s jaw tightened. “That’s because she is insecure. She knew what she was doing. She probably saw how much he loved you and still couldn’t stand it. That baby? It doesn’t erase what you and he had.”

“I just want to forget all of it,” Anna muttered. “The love, the lies, the way he used to hold me like I was his world. It was all fake.”

Joyce turned to her. “Then let’s start over. From today. Let this be the day you choose yourself. Not him. Not the pain. Just you.”

Anna closed her eyes and took a long, shaky breath. “I want to. I really do. But where do I start?”

Joyce smiled softly. “You start by getting up. Showering. Eating. Living. Then one day, you’ll laugh again, and it won’t hurt anymore. And when that day comes, you’ll realize he lost a diamond while chasing stones.”

Anna looked at her, and for the first time, a tiny smile tugged at the corner of her lips. “Thank you.”

“Always,” Joyce said, pulling her into another hug. “And next time you feel like calling him, just call me instead. I’ll remind you why you left.”

“Thank you, Joy. I don’t know what I’d do without you, seriously,” Ana said softly, just as they heard footsteps approaching. Moments later, Ali appeared in front of them.

Joyce grinned when she noticed his loose sweatpants.

“Hey Ana,” Ali greeted with a smile.

Ana looked at Joyce in surprise. *Ohh… so that’s why she was breathless when she answered the phone*, she thought, then smiled at Ali.

“I didn’t know you were here,” she said.

Ali chuckled, glancing at Joyce with a smirk before turning back to Ana.
“You don’t look okay. Is everything alright?” he asked gently.

Ana nodded and looked down. Ali glanced at Joyce with concern, but she shook her head slightly, signaling him not to ask more.

“I was just about to leave,” he said and smiled at Ana.

“I’ll walk you out,” Joyce said, lifting her hand. Ali took it and gently pulled her toward him.

“I’m going to take a bath. I’ll be back in a bit,” Ana said and walked to the bathroom.

Ali looked at Joyce as she led him outside.
“Is she okay?” he asked, placing a hand on her waist.

Joyce sighed. “She’ll be fine. I’ll explain everything when she’s ready,” she said as they reached his car.

“I’ll see you tomorrow then,” Ali said, pecking her lips before getting into his car and driving off.

***

Inside the house, Ana had finished her bath. She looked at herself in the mirror, Milton’s words echoing in her mind. *Did I really push him away by not giving him s+x?* she wondered, sighing softly.

She walked back to the lounge just as Joyce entered from outside.

“You okay?” Joyce asked.

Ana nodded silently.

“Do you want tea or wine?” she asked softly.
Ana shook her head. “Nothing. I just want to sit here for a while.”

Joyce sat beside her, watching her quietly. After a few minutes of silence, she said,
“You know what I think, Ana?”

Ana glanced at her. “What?”

“You need to get laid.”

Ana blinked. “What?”

“I’m serious,” Joyce said, shrugging. “You’re all tense, stressed, emotional… Girl, you need to let go. Meet someone new. Go on a date. A real one. With a hot stranger.”

Ana gave a weak laugh. “Joyce, I just got my heart broken. I’m not trying to jump into bed with anyone.”

“Who said anything about love? I’m not saying fall in love—just… relax a little. You’ve been carrying so much. Let someone else take your mind off things for one night.”

Ana sighed and looked down at her fingers. “I don’t know, Joyce… I’m not even sure how to do that anymore.”

Joyce smiled and nudged her. “That’s why I already set up a blind date for you.”

Ana turned to her with wide eyes. “You what?!”

“Yup,” Joyce grinned. “Tomorrow night. Casual place. Cute guy. No pressure. Just go, eat, talk—or don’t. You might end up laughing… or kissing. Or nothing. But at least you’ll know you’re still living.”

Ana opened her mouth to protest but closed it again. Deep down, she knew Joyce was right.

“You’re crazy,” she muttered.

Joyce winked. “Crazy enough to save your sanity.”

Joyce leaned closer, a silly grin forming on her face.
“But seriously, Ana… when was the last time you got laid?”

Ana rolled her eyes.
“Ugh, does that even matter?”

Joyce laughed.
“It does! You need someone to f+k the stress out of you.”

Ana scoffed.
“What if I don’t even like the guy I’m supposed to meet?”

Joyce grinned thoughtfully.
“Then I’ll hook you up with my best friend… your boss.”
