Delayed – Episode 8

Few weeks to Grace’s wedding, Jane and grace took break from their offices in other to put things needed for both the introduction, traditional and church wedding. Grace wanted to be through with everything at once, she plan on having three weeks for the three celebration.
Jane on her own end, continue to run errands for her best friend and ensure that everything went smoothly.
Invitation cards has been sent to different families, friends and well wishers plus top officials of different organizations including Stanley’s office.
Grace’s husband to be, John have been in partnership business with Stanley’s company.
“Mr Man, you must go to this wedding o, you will continue your office work afterwards. It’s been awhile we attended occasion even after being invited. Besides don’t forget that this man is in partnership with us, let’s join him to celebrate please. If you don’t go for people’s wedding who will come for yours?
“…and who knows, you may see Jane there…that your crush, the only one who can silent you with just her presence..”. Promise Shrugged his shoulder, knowing well that Stanley hearing Jane’s name might buy the idea.
“…My guy, the truth is, I don’t know why I want us to go for this occasion but I believe we might have a good fortune”. Promise said again.
While Stanley was busy calculating something with his calculator from the files on his table.
“Ok, I’ve heard you but what if… what if she’s not there? you don’t even know who John’s fiancee is talk more of those related to her what is your plan this guy!”.
“… you know what, you will represent me over there. I know you love going out, don’t bother I’ll give you enough cash. So can we continue with what we have on our table now?”.
“No problem, you na my boss anything you say…but I wish you will think about this”.
There was silent in Stanley’s office as both friends become busy in their work.
Stanley was deeply thinking on what his friend says, a part of him wants to go and the other part is saying otherwise.
Reaching home he decided to make more enquiry of the wedding. He got to know that John’s wife to be is Grace but he is not sure if he has seen her before.
If only he can get someone related to Jane but he couldn’t find any.
He believes that if he knows someone related to her then it will be easy locating Jane.
