As soon as the policemen took Mr Jude out of the house, they entered their vehicle and drove off.
Treasure shut the door and went closer to Delight who was still sitting on the floor crying… She was not crying because her father is been accused and charged to prison, she knew every thing was fake but she is just putting on the act to convince her mother to believe that every thing was real.
She was also crying because she is going to miss her father so much, they are very fond of each other and been separated from her father is like separating a sucking child from her mother’s breast
She cried the more as her mother approaches her cat walking and laughing in victory.
As she draws nearer, Delight can’t bear the act her mother was trying to put in order to mock and cause her depression the more, she stood up from her wailing ground and made to leave and go into her room
Hey!! you spoilt daddy’s little brat, you clearly sees that I am coming to you and you have the guts to walk out on me, oh are you trying to dodge me?
(Delight stopped and turned around facing her mother)
Mum, I only stopped not because you addressed me by my name but because I want to correct an impression, Mum please with all due respect ma, my name is Delight and please address me by that name I will be most grateful but next time don’t think of addressing me with any other name and not even a pet name.. I will be in my room.Thank you!
