“W-what are you doing here?” I stutter shortly.
“Eat!” He smirked.
He’s definitely not here to eat only… He has another motive.
I only hope he’s not here to kill me for running away.
“Erm.. about yesterday.. can.. can…”
“Darling, I’m starving, get me something to eat!” He cuts me off bluntly.
“I know I did wrong…. Can we talk about it calmly?”
He smirked and arched a brow.
“Let’s not rush, get me something to eat first!”
Listening to him is the only way now, or he might make trouble here… I can’t afford Don losing customers because of me.
“What would you like to order?”
“Anything you serve me is fine” he replied.
I nod and quickly left to get him some food.
On the way Anita rushed towards me and held my arm, a big smile on her face.
“Cat, how did it go? Did he asked for your number? Isn’t he handsome?”
“You could have described him, that man is my worst nightmare! I was running away from him”
“Oh! But he looked like a decent man to me, and most importantly, he’s rich and handsome!”
I shake my head sadly, if only she knew who’s sitting there, she wouldn’t be fawning over him.
I put my hand on her shoulder.
“My dear, don’t judge a book by its cover!” I told her.
“What?”
“Nothing, I’ll go get his order”
“Ok….. Cat?”
“Yeah?”
“If I were you I’d hurry up and sign in now, you know, before Don comes in”
“Wait, he’s in not in his office?”
She shakes her head and I smiled, I guess there’s still some luck left for me today.
“I’d better get started” she nods and I hurried off.

F**k! Can’t believe I overslept today….I’m gonna get an earful from Cat, she’s so gonna mock me for coming late today.
I step in my restaurant and head straight to my room, my luck ran out and I met Cat midway.
A tray of coffee in her hands.
“Good morning, Cat” I greet and try to walk past her, she held my hand and pulled me back.
She cleared her throat and straighten her posture.
“Are you just coming in?” She asked in a bold voice…. she’s tryna talk like me.
I kept quiet and stared at her in amusement.
“Don’t just keep quiet! Say something!”
I rolled my eyes and pulled her ear gently.
“I’m still your boss…. maybe I can dock your salary for two months”
“No,no,no.. I’ll carry on with my job” she said.
“That’s more like it, now go on!”
She sighs heavily and whisper something under her breath… though I heard her clearly.
“I wish I’m not the one to serve him” she whispered.
“Are you having troubles with any customer?” I asked her.
She hesitate for a moment before she smiles broadly.
“No! No! It’s all good, I can cope!” Then she rushed off.
I frown… could it be a customer is being unreasonable. I’d better check it out to be sure.
I followed her…..
“What?! Lucifer?!” I frown.
This is bad….very bad, what is he doing here? Has he found out that Cat is his wife?
I hurried back to my office and typed Andy’s number, after a few rings he picked up.
“What’s up, Don?”
“Lucifer!” I replied.
“Lucifer?”
“Yeah… he’s in my restaurant right now”
“What?! What about Cat?”
“That’s the problem, she’s the one serving him!”
I hear a loud bang. “What?!”
“I don’t know why he’s here…. could it be he knows who Cat is?”
“I don’t care if he knows or not, get Cat away from him! They shouldn’t be together!”
“Calm down, I can’t show myself to Lucifer or he might recognize me….how about we talk to grandma first” I suggested.
He was silent for a few minutes, but finally agreed. I hanged up and sighed.
Cat mustn’t know about her relationship with Lucifer…them being together might help her remember.

I slammed the coffee on the table, spilling it on the table as I glared at him.
“Your coffee, sir!” I told him.
He frown slightly and chuckles lightly.
“Sir?” He smirked. “Considering our relationship, it’ll be romantic if you call me honey!”
My glare intensifies.
“What’s our relationship?” I asked….I mean, what relationship could we have?
“You look cute when you frown” he wink at me.
Does this count as flirting?
“Tell me what’s our relationship?”
He got up and walk towards, he stands impossibly close to me…..I look around, thankfully the restaurant isn’t crowded yet.
I tried to take away from him but he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me flushed against him….our chests touching.
“W-what are you doing?”
“You wanna know what our relationship is, right?”
I nod wordlessly….our chests touching is kinda electrifying.
“I’m trying to remind you” he placed a finger under my chin and brings his face closer to mine.
Instinctively, my eyes moved to his lips… they’re so tempting, pink and full….I can hear them calling my name, drawing me in.
What am I doing? Why am I not stopping him?
I just watch him, his face keeps coming closer and closer, I close my eyes and wait for his lips on mine but…….
“You’re my wife!!” He whispered in my ear.
I pushed him away and glared at him, feeling somewhat disappointed. Why? I shudder and shake every unclean thought off my mind.
“You’re my wife!” He said again.
I blinked rapidly.
“Y-your wife?!”
That wasn’t a dream? Did I really got married to him in reality? How is that possible?
“Yes, so it’s only right you call me honey!”
“When did I become your wife? I don’t remember wearing a wedding gown!”
“Oh? Don’t tell me you forgot me….look at me closely, don’t I look familiar?”
I narrowed my eyes and looked at him closely…..after a few minutes of staring I shake my head.
“You don’t look familiar….have we met before? And how did I become your wife? Or maybe you’re mistaking me for someone?”
He frown deeply, his hands clenched and I hear him grinding his teeth.
He mumbled coherent words under his breath.
“What did you say?” I asked.
“Nothing….come with me, I wanna take you to a place”
“No!” He is a dangerous man….I can’t go nowhere with him.
“Don’t you wanna know how you became my wife?” I nod. “Then come with me and I’ll tell you”
I hesitate….I’m not sure if I should go with him, what if this is his trick to kill me because I told him to let that man go?
I flinch back when I saw him bring out a gun from his pocket, he points it at a young girl reading a book….my eyes grew wide.
Is he planning to kill an innocent girl?
“If you don’t come with me, I swear I’ll kill everyone in this restaurant!”
“Yo..yo…”
“Come with me and I will tell you everything and everyone will be safe”
I promised Andy I’d stay away from him……
“Are you coming with me or not!I’m not a patient man!”
I can just go with him to hear his nonsense to avoid having blood on my hands.
“Fine! Let’s go!” I grumbled.
He smirks and keep his gun back in his pocket.
“That’s a good girl” he grabbed my hand and pulled me outside.
